Twilight of Magic
In addition to Shardfall, the first stage of the newest Dawn of Magic style event begins now! Twilight of Magic will be a site-wide plot event in which all participating members have the chance to earn great rewards! Although be warned, all related plot threads after the first phase will be death enabled...
1st Phase: The first phase is the sign up phase, but it's not as simple as filling out a template and saying you want to participate. The first phase will last about a month. During that time, players are encouraged to plan and rp plot development for their character which justifies reasons for them to be going to the location and getting involved in the big event. This time, the big event will be a civil war in Kou which has just been sparked! Everyone who participates in the first phase will receive some huang and some exp as incentive to get involved!
2nd Phase: The bloody civil war for the throne of Kou between the old emperor Gao Yuan Zu and his son Yoshiro will begin in full swing! First a wave of new jobs will hit the job board. Each job completed will give momentum and support to one side of the war. Once a certain threshold has been reached, active members will be invited to major plot threads with the leaders of their respective sides in the war. Player interactions with said leaders will determine how the plot develops from there.
3rd Phase: The final phase will be a huge plot event based on the results of the previous phase! Those who survive this phase will reap incredible rewards greater than any event prizes given out thus far throughout the entire forum's history!
Rules For The First Phase:
- Your plot post for the submission must be at least 1000 words long at a minimum, but making it longer is highly encouraged. The more you show us the various plot motivations involved for your character, the better we can craft plot situations tailored to your character's personal incentives.
- Word of Kou's Civil war starting has already spread across the world despite only just happening recently thanks to magic communication.
- Your character doesn't need to know about the brewing civil war when deciding to head to Kou. But they must have some kind of important reason to go there if you want staff to build plots tailored to you. Simply traveling there on a whim won't get your character any plot attention.
- You may do your plot post/s in a solo or in a group thread. If it is done in a job/training the word count for your plot post must be separate from other word counts.
- Those who complete their submission and has it approved will be granted 25,000 huang and 200xp
- Sign-ups will be open until
December 16th!January 1st! Post your submission here before the deadline and staff will review it. Once a "Submission Approved" note is edited into your submission post your huang will be added and you may claim your exp.
