The first two show Zubaidah re-establishing herself within her old home in Parthevia, with Rafi and Batuttah joining her efforts.

The second two show her work within the Plains, travelling them alongside Amnet and Powehi to better the situation of those affected after the Bo began their expansion.

The last one shows Zubaidah bonding with Constantine, who defected from Sasan, and acquainting him with life in the outside world away from his home.

In total, these five jobs were chosen because they show Zubaidah’s globe-trotting nature, and show off her companions. They show that she does not have a home herself, soemthing she lost twenty years ago, but she finds herself at home when she is with her friends.

As such, in terms of the magic tool, I would like it to be something that represents her nature as someone who brings home with herself. In terms of in-character acquisition, I have left plot-hooks for a magic tool given to her by the people of Parthevia’s old capital or something gifted to her by Batuttah.

The first three showcase the Ash Company's efforts into excavating Parthevian sites. As a wandering group focused on research and the pursuit of knowledge, they represent how dedicated Zubaidah and her companions are. They also represent the Ash Company's desire to have somewhere to put down roots, i.e. Parthevia.

The first shows Zubaidah excavating in Tisifun, where she aims to find artefacts from Kosrovian times. The second shows her and other Ash Company associates pursuing Kosrow in hopes of asking about his Udr - and protecting Parthevia. The third shows Zubaidah excavating in Lamet, or western Parthevia, and her drive in defending Parthevian heritage.

The last two showcase how the Ash Company has managed to create a small haven in Tisifun for themselves, where they can rest and relax. Since the wandering group has the goal of creating someplace where misfits and outcasts can thrive, the success of the Ash Company as a multi-ethnic and multi-national business demonstrates how well-suited Tisifun is for Zubiadah and her companions.

All in all, these threads have three themes in common: fashion, Parthevia and pursuing the past. As such, since the Ash Company has been excavating around Tisifun and Lamet, I thought a suitable magic item would be one linked with all three, perhaps salvaged from an excavation site.
