Subjecting the Drug Trade/ Rise Of The Immortal Merchants
Character Name(s): Lagi
Summary:
- Spoiler:
- With everyone paying attention to the war and gathering war efforts, Lagi, under the guise of Requiem Jynx, took great advantage of the situation. He created a numerous amount of worthwhile drugs that he could to the soldiers and sellswords of Kou, entering a deal with royals and tradesmen in order to have his exclusively sold and secure a permit for them in order to legalize his drugs in Kou. Not only with the warrior drug Salatis, he also created Terrane Liquid drops to improve the recovery of one's body dramatically. With the drugs being in high demand, Lagi's voluntary service in the war has left him in a equally good standing as Requiem Jynx, with him showcasing his success as a result of the powerful drug he was trying to sell upon returning to Kou. After making it look like a drug of miracles, Lagi took it a step further by securing ravenous beasts that could morph and shape their body structure. Bringing those creatures to heel, he not only used them for his own needs but made a deal with a few lieutenants of Kou in order to educate the beasts in guerrilla warfare and utilize them as a strike force at command.
Little did they know, that command was limited, with Lagi still being in full control of the moon rabbits. In addition to that, Lagi decided to put an end to the competition by wiping out the other drug game in town, the Red Dragons. As a result of that, Lagi secured the entirety of their opium crops and discovered a new herb that gave birth to a new drug called Mithril, which was the mirrored image of the capabilities of Salatis that targeted the individuals magoi instead.
Lagi also doubled the production rate of his drugs by secretly weakening the effects to half their power, with the extra materials used to make more. This, in turn, matches the sales, with the production of local opium smoking shacks that serve El Ragu as well for the people to basically throw away their worries about the war with the number of legal enablers now increasingly present within the Kou Capital.
Finally, with his new existence as a Vampire Lord, he turned the royals/tradesmen that wanted to work with him and culled the rest by the hands of their own colleagues, granting the trade sect of Kou and it's big players immortality for an equal existing working relationship with the Drug Lord. After all, the price of power and eternal youth isn't cheap.
