"You want me to do what?" He turned around with an irritated glint in his eyes. "Take care of them," the teacher repeated mirthfully.

Those words marked the start of one of the most infuriating jobs he had ever taken. Seriously? What the hell, people? Gods above, why him? What did he do to deserve this? Why couldn't those stupid fools understand the phrase, 'with great power comes great responsibility'? Because the four students disappeared, the teachers reached out to him. They requested his help. He suspected those brats purposely orchestrated the event to cause him grief. No doubt, the four students influenced the teacher's decision to ask Ariel's help. Why else would they reach out to one of the most unpleasant students? Yeah, yeah, he admitted it: he was unpleasant.

We need your help, Harel!" the teacher exasperatedly stressed.

"Give me a reason to help," Ariel countered.

"Fine. I'll pay for your services." This caught his attention. He huffed irritably. He spat back a 'fine', reluctant but also desperate. He shook his head and swore he would rid him of those pesky life magicians- or at least when he found the chance to do so...

"It looks like a herd of horses came storming in!" he exclaimed.

"Not horses. Green, vile beasts," someone hissed. Ariel turned around and he found sky blue eyes staring at him. "They came with a group of magicians. The pesky beasts have been causing tons of chaos, as you can see. They moved on from here only a few minutes ago. If you hurry you might be able to catch up to them," he explained.

Ariel awkwardly thanked the stranger.

"Goddamit! Those crazy brats! What were they thinking!?" he grumbled.

He leaped after a flying, green, dragon-like creature. It evaded his attempts to pull it down. He landed on his stomach, much to his regret. He glared intensely at the trouble-making creature as it circled above him. His resolve towards no use of violence was fading quickly. For the past hour, he had been pointlessly chasing after the mischievous little devils. He tried to jump and pull them to him, but he could not match their speed. That and they had the ability to fly from his reach. Already impatient, a wonder Ariel had not ripped them to shreds by then.

The last straw broke when one of the green things landed on his head. Done with their mocking behavior, he whipped his staff out and brought it upon the nearest dragonelle. He watched in gleeful satisfaction as the annoying little monster flew downward and hit the ground. He turned his sights towards the other green things. "So, who's next?" They fled for their lives, afraid and disturbed. He frowned and let out an exasperated sigh. "Goddamit! Why can't you things remain in one fucking place!? Stop moving!"

He caught up to the green devils quickly. He swatted at one dragonelle with his staff. "Die!" he hissed. Too bad for the remaining dragonelles, Ariel still carried rage inside of him. He sent a spray of dirt at one to slow it down. He grabbed it by the tail and dragged it down with force, rendering the poor thing unconscious. The last creature landed for a short break, believing to have lost Ariel. He sneaked up on the creature a moment later and crashed his staff down upon it. Poor things never saw him coming.
