Levi took another Job which now required him to go into the Plains again. The task would be to search some herbs, because the mother of a small family appeared to be ill, unable to search the medicine herself. For Levi, this Job did not sound very difficult or threatening, especially when he considered the Job’s categorization. The magician did not belief that he would face much resistance or opposition during this task. If he had to visit some forest, he was convinced that most wild animals would flee as soon as he would enter the woods and the family would be glad to receive some help. Levi travelled a while, but ultimately reached the small farm, politely knocking at the door and waited for somebody to let him enter.

Levi waited a while until the door finally opened. A small boy stood in front of him and allowed Levi to enter after the magician introduced himself. The farm house was rather small and the two quickly reached the bed where the ill mother lay. Another child, a girl a few years older, treated the woman. Even though Levi had no medical experience, he could tell that the woman needed help. However, he had no idea if her illness was lethal or not. He might appear a bit heartless, but he immediately came to the point upon seeing the situation, desiring to waste no time. “How can I help you?” The older sister was the one who answered and politely gave him an explanation of the herbs he should gather. Kindly, he was even told a few locations where he should find some. However, he would have to go alone, because the two siblings either had to take care of the farm or treat their mother. Levi had no problems with that and soon left when everything was clear. It should not be too difficult to find a few herbs in a forest, right?

The young magician only had to take a rather short walk of a few minutes before he eventually reached the forest. He had no idea what awaited him in the woods and thus waited a short moment, tried to perceive anything and only entered when he was sure that nothing would attack him on first sight. For a while, Levi simply moved inside the woods and tried to get some form of orientation. When he started to get a grasp of where he was, he quickly went to the first location he was told. As he hoped, he could find the first herbs he needed there. After they were stored, he quickly moved to other locations. While he needed to inspect more locations than he originally hoped, he ultimately gathered every herb he was told to. Levi needed some hours to find every plant, but the whole searching was calm and without any incidents. When he returned to the farm house, the children were happy that they could finally cure their mother. The magician stayed until the mother received the medicine and left when the mother started to feel better, completing another job.
