Job Overview: One of the horses has come down with a minor illness and had been taken away from the others to recuperate. Montague has tasked you with making sure she is fed by hand feeding her, giving her medicine, and spend some time with her. Report back to Montague when you're finished for rewards.
Falling back and wrapping himself in his covers, Mordecaiah slips into sleep. He awakens the next day calm and ready to relax. Getting dress since he fell asleep naked, and goes outside without tidy up himself going to check on the animals. Doing sort overlooks on the cows, pigs and roosters, he came across the horses. Many gather around one so Mordecaiah, pushed through the large animals. One Horse knelt down besides the horse on the ground neighing underneath her breathe. Clearing the other horses out from the stalls back to their owns, he left off to get medicines later for the horse.
Arriving back shortly after hand, both horses still in the same spot. Putting the medicine on the side against the wooden wall creeping up to the horse side to run and examine her. Making her feel comfortable also not to upset her possibly mate who was kneeing right beside them. Diagnosing the horse himself with a minor illness after serval attempts at trying to figure it out, he'd gather up some hay to feed the horse from hand as it seemed she didn't want to eat like the others. Hand feeding the horse tickled against hand while he released small chuckles from it. Going over to the medicine he brought back reading each one to determine which would be most effective. Finally eliminating the ones that wouldn't work Mordecaiah got a small horse bowl and poured the liquid medicine inside it, placing it in front of her while reassuring that she'll feel better after the effects take in.
Spending the evening laying next to the two horses. Rubbing and making the sick one feel comfortable and needed really made the horse happy. Loud neighs rang throughout stall as she started to feel the medicine work, her livelihood getting back to its original ways. He started to sing to the horse to calm it down remembering one of the songs Montague sang to him back when he was little. The startled horse slowly calmed down while the horses mate seemed to notice his mate spirits rising. Mordecaiah stopping his song as the horse rolled down, and knelt again on the hay beds rubbing her mane until she fell asleep. Mordecaiah stayed at her side for a couple more hours alongside her mate to make sure nothing else happened, once she made sure she was good he left back to the home to relax. Finishing the day around the brink of night while thinking about what to make for supper?
