After quite some time, Zadi was able to unlock the entire spell. The caster would create a large, very large, cloud-like construct. The construct is far more an abomination than a golem, much less than a construct, so the actual 'thing' is quite horrific and nightmarish to look at. More artistic than ugly though, so there is that. However, just because it was ugly didn't really mean anything. It was a nightmare made somewhat physical, in the sense that it can be seen, just not felt. However, if you did 'feel' or simply touch the construct, nightmares will flood your consciousness making living a nightmare! Only for an extended period of time though, but all the same helpless to the 'outside' world. Unless you know magic and able to cast it while immobile, then your only defense would be a beast at your side which could also succumb to the nightmare that is Horror's Soul, the name dubbed to the abomination that feeds nightmares to a helpless victim though a single touch. Kind of like a jelly fish, but instead of stinging pains or even death, it would be nightmares followed up by disorientation. All the while immobile, Zadi would then be able to strike at a target and when 'awake' again, so to speak, the target would likely be unable to continue fighting anyway, disorientation or not. Truly a great spell to add to one's growing arsenal of nightmarish and strong abilities. This ability being more nightmarish than all the others.
However, Zadi still needed to test the ability to see the limits of it's power, such as how long a person would be under the nightmare's influence. Therefore, Zadi would test it out on, you guessed it, himself! Right or wrong, this would be the nicest way to test such a potentially mind-altering spell without being a prick on the local rodents and bugs. Granted, Zadi wanted to teach the pests a lesson for being such pests, but it would be nice to use a powerful spell on them. Therefore, Zadi felt it best to test Horror's Soul out on himself. Zadi gripped
Dream Infiltrator and used
Horror's Soul, filling the room that Zadi occupied to the brim with the abomination, the cloud-like construct, the scary thing that looks terrifying in real life. The cloud filled the room in almost an instant, and then some. Zadi was not sparred from its effects and therefore became riddled with nightmarish figures all around him, one's that seemed to hold him in place and stop his every movement. All that Zadi could do in the wake of these terrifying images was to
deactivate Horror's Soul and sit through the seemingly endless string of ever changing nightmares until he could finally rest and calculate the situation. Zadi made sure to check where the sun was before using the spell such that when next he checked, the sun would be, hopefully, in a noticeably different location. However, when Zadi check, ages from now, it would turn out to be nighttime...
