Name:Leveret Barlowe
Gender:Boy
Personality:Smiley, confident, glass half full
Hair Color:Red
Eye Color:Hazel
Height:6’5”
Weight:220 lb
Appearance:Leveret is a slim man in his 40s who has the face of someone in their late 20s. He always has a smile on his face and when outside of duty, he typically dresses in a carefree fashion. Scars cover his body due to his constant brawls and lack a daisy mannerisms when facing his troops in duels. Often he lets them use real weapons to liven up the fights but each scratch represents an over cocky attitude being humbled.
Rukh Alignment:White
Special Traits:He is a halfling Magician/Fanalis (leaning towards Magician)
History:Born out of Magnostadt, Leveret would not have seen his homeland till he was 7. Due to being an only child, he was eventually partnered up with the son of a combat trainer. Leveret's wanted to write stories but due to his partner’s family line, was forced to master the art of the sword. Over the years, he and his partner would climb the ranks of the self defense force though Leveret always had wandering eyes. Had it not been for his partner’s competitiveness and constant dueling, Leveret claims that he would have quit. Eventually he would find himself in charge of the clan’s defenses, surpassing his partner though he claims it's not earned. Nevertheless, Leveret is well liked among the people. His reputation with the elders has earned him an almost elder-like influence.

Homed in Magnostadt, the Barlowes are an old though not very renowned clan. They travel from place to place sharing stories and their own collection of history. Some consider them scholar types but each member is more of an artist. Long has their speciality of record keeping erode ever since their great library was destroyed… or so the elders say. Now its members spin tales of whimsy which hide events known by the teller. Even now, their nomad lifestyle references their previous lifestyle of exploring the world.
“A lit candle learns of nothing under familiar light.”

The Barlowes often are assign life partners at a young age. This is not marriage, though sometimes they lead to them, but a safety measure done to keep members safe while easing the burden of information management between clan members. It also teaches the importance of putting others before one's self since you must always consider the wellbeing of your partner before you do anything.

This clan is small, made of only a hundred or so members. Most people live their lives walking familiar plains but every so often, the fire of the ancestor takes hold of selected youth and they go out to learn new stories from the world and bring new material for the clan to work with. Despite those exceptions, most clansmen remain close to the main group and the clan rarely goes near cities. The exception would be at the end of the year when they venture to the largest library in the country to exchange and pick up new text.

The Elders is the ruling faction in the clan. These men and women are elected based on their own achievement and wisdom from a pool of candidates selected by the current and retired Elders to become assistants to a respective elder. Once that elder retires or dies, that assistant will then take their place. While the Elders are seen as the most respected members of the clan, becoming an elder can be seen as a daunting task. Elders are expected to memorize key epics and the complete history of the clan, filling in for those who have left. In the event of an untimely death, the tribe goes through a pooling of tales and history to recreate the gap left behind.

When it comes to the clan’s protection, the people are its power. Every member is given 2-5 years of training once they become a teenager.. Everyone over the age of 16 is able to pick up arms and defend the clan. Due to their peaceful nature and the lack of physical wealth, the clansmen's combat prowess has lessened mostly theoretical experiences. The younger crowd more interested in fighting tend to develop experimental techniques and while most of these don’t survive the test of viability, those that due go on the radar to become elected for an elder’s assistant. Their Soldiers are divided into two groups, Pens and Pages. Pens are people who have experience in fighting or have proven themselves to other Pens. Pages are those who have completed 2 years of training but lack experience.

These nomads are primarily peaceful. The clan welcomes all visitors and often sells stories and writings for goods. However, they are considered well protected as everyone is either armed or has access to weapons stashed in their carriages..
