A Carnies touch [Lagi/Diana/Body Manipulation Training]

There were plenty of gatherings going about in the middle of Kou's main square, a show of some kind. With the tent being placed up the night before, as well as the carnies being approved and vetted by the Kou government, now was a time to bring back some hope to the people of a war-driven country. In addition to that, it was a great time to have some fun and spread some smiles, something that the carnies specialized in.

The crowds came pouring in the humongous tent that covered up the main square of the Kou city, with a little bit of pushing and shoving here and there. The guards that the city was able to spare was doing their best to keep everything in line, making sure that those who entered had brought their tickets beforehand.

The lights flickered back in forth, a special magic tool that was used as nothing more than a theatrical component to enhance the experience of the guests. Everything was as it seemed, for the people that were coming in, and the performers that were already inside of the tent.



"Are you.......ready guys! It's about time that we give these people a show that they won't forget! " There were plenty of cheers from the group of performers, but the one that didn't reply was an individual that wore something akin to jester mask. However, this new performer showed amazing skill, and it seemed to be apart of their personality to not be bothered.

They let it go, only as long as he would be able to perform tonight.

Diana had heard of a circus being in the city. The thought of it excited her. She hadn't been to one since she was a child. The memories she held were dear to her and left a warm feeling in her chest. It was said to be impressive. The amount of people traveling in the direction she was only made her more anxious. She clutched her bag close to her as she made her way over to the main square.

Upon nearing closer, she could slowly see the tent emerge up from the distance. A faint bit of blush ran across her cheeks and her face glowed up in awe. The line inside was long but she managed to enter inside, sitting in a seat in the front row. It was finally nice to spend her money on something worthwhile. Not too long later, the lanterns were dimmed and the show was about to start.

"Are you... ready guys! It's about time that we give these people a show that they won't forget!"

All of the preformers cheered along with the leader except for one. He was wearing an odd mask and seemed out of place. However, as the show dragged on, the man showed incredible skill. Something that she had never seen before. He moved his body in ways that slowly began to inspire her. None of the others in the troupe compared to him. Along with all of the others in the audience, she got the most excited when he entered for a preformance.

After the show was over, Diana lingered outside of the tent. She wanted to know who he was and how he obtained such skill. His actions were inhuman. If he would not tell her, she wanted to praise him for a job well done regardless. She waited patiently for him to come out of the tent if he ever did.

If there was one thing that Lagi did, it was delivered when it came to performances like this. Lagi wasn't always like this, his head was so caught up in the dark hand, as well as maintaining cover, that he lost sight of who he was for a moment. Performing and giving them a bit of a show was something that Lagi could use to cheer the people of Kou up, even if he wasn't going to participate in their war any longer. After sending that letter to the unity corps, it was apparent to Lagi that it grew a bit tiresome.  The only reason why Lagi joined this group was the fact that they were willing to pay him in  Lagi's preferred way. The traveling group had a potion of Jadid thal'a. They would be looking for someone different in the sense of the dark hand leader that's been causing quite the ruckus. Yes this fresh face, which looked like a similar version of his old one and a few tattoos of the one before, was what he wanted the alchemists to associate with. He wanted them to feel like Lagi was familiar, he wanted them to realize just what's coming, and why they had it coming in the first place.

However, while stuck in his head, Lagi noticed that there was a girl that was waiting outside, seemingly checking around the tent as if she lost something. Keeping the performance mask on, along with his performance gear, Lagi walked over as he gave her a slight nod.

"I can get an escort for you if you left your purse or anything of the sort in the tent It's not uncommon to have pickpockets in tight spaces, referring to the seats of course. "

After a bit of a wait, the man finally emerged from the tent. She was grateful that the man kept to his mysterious appearance and kept his mask on. Diana was ready to approach him until he saw him walking towards her. Conflicted, she stayed put and let him come to her. What came out of his mouth was not expected in the least. He offered her assistance to retrieve possibly stolen goods. Did that happen often here? The thought irked her but she cleared her mind of it. She wanted to speak to him for a reason and it wasn't regardinng theft.

Diana shook her head, "I just wanted to say that your performance was very good." She thought it would be good to lend him praise before she led into her real intentions. There was a presumption that he must have gotten this question a lot but she figured she would ask regardless. "I was wondering if you would teach me. I've never seen anything quite like it," she said. It wasn't odd for her to ask this so it came out quite fluid. She was an avid learner and coachable to an extent. However, her thoughts rested on more combat oriented purposes rather than entertainment.

"If I have over stepped, I apologize," she said, quickly remembering that she was lacking her manners in the moment. Her mother would be disappointed.

"My performance? It caught your attention that much?" It was granted that Lagi was a master when it came to body manipulation. Well, maybe not a master, he had teachers that would make Lagi look like an amateur, but they had the age and experience to come with it. "Well, thanks, if you want my autograph, I guess I can get a pen and a paper ready for you. However, if you need some money or anything, I can't help you with that. Being a performer, even with a caliber like this, doesn't guarantee a high paycheck. But hey, to each his own. "

Yawning from the inside of his mask, Lagi felt indifferent towards the woman. He didn't know what she wanted, but he knew she wanted something. No one just approaches anyone anymore with any sort of intentions of good will, if there is something to gain, they will take it in any way that they can. However, this woman mentioned that she wanted to learn body manipulation from Lagi, which made him raise an eyebrow.

"You want to learn? From me? You know what, I won't even charge you. However, if you can't take it, you'll be paralyzed from the waist down. If it's still a gamble you're brave enough to take for the sake of mastering your own body, follow me back inside of the tent. "

Lagi would then walk back inside of the tent, wondering if he scared the woman off. He did feel like he was being mean, but he didn't want the woman to waste her time. Body manipulation was truly about willpower, even with such a risk looming over her head, Diana had to be vigilant enough to bet on her own capabilities.

A rush of thrill rushed through her after he agreed to train her. It was a good day. She couldn't have been more excited. Diana ran past a few ideas in her head about how to use this to her advantage and she couldn't help but smile a bit. He explained to her the risk. Paralyzation. While it was more extreme than she could have ever imagined, it left adreniline pumping through her veins. Diana had nothing more to say except to follow the man into the tent as he suggested. She was prepared for the conciquences. However, if it got too much for her, she knew her limits.

She calmed her mind and emotions as soon as she entered the tent. Her expression showed only her seriousness and determination to learn. Despite this being a decision made on impulse, she was able to prepare herself for what was to come. At least, that is what she thought. "I'm afraid I haven't introduced myself. I'm Diana Corvus. May I ask for your own?" she asked. Even mysterious masked men have a name. However, she was uncertain if he would give him his own.

Lagi was waiting inside with the mask on, seemingly putting his hands in his pocket as he eyed the girl. As a matter of fact, with his best attempt at trying to scare her out of this, it seems as if this woman was a lot braver than he thought. Keeping the mask on him, Lagi would make a sound with his voice as the woman introduced herself as Diana Corvus.

"That's a pretty good name, Diana huh? The name is Lagi El Nagi, I guess you could call me that for now. There is another name I go by, but that doesn't matter. " Maybe it was ok, he gave her his full name, but it could be possible that people forgot about him already. It was a name that his father gave him, he still liked it. Ulfila was his mother's last name, something that he hasn't used until now. It was sacred to go by, but Lagi didn't want to disgrace the El Nagi name with what he became, or what he was about to become after he was done with Heliohapt. However, it wouldn't matter, for the time being, everyone left the area.

"Lagi, it means heaven, more associated with the god. I guess that should suffice for a name you can recognize, right? Feeling famous yet?"

Moving to the back of Diana, Lagi would reveal a few acupuncture materials, prepping his senbon as he talked to her.

"I'm going to stretch you out, but I don't think you'll last out the pain. When my teacher taught me, everything was a bit old school, but I'd like to think that I'm a little more modern. After studying the pressure points, I know exactly where to hit you in order to devoid you of pain while I "elongate your limbs". It'll be better than the old-fashioned way and risk a break, but I can give you a complete guarantee of all of the pain being gone. It also might freak you out, seeing your limbs stretch out before your very eyes."

Turning back to her, Lagi would wait until the go ahead.

"There is no coming back from this. It's a useful skill but will provide a definite change to your body. Are you sure you want to do this? "

After hearing his name, her eyes squinted at him. "Like the Lagi El Nagi?" she asked. Her interests were intrigued but there was no real way to know it was him for sure. She heard of him but she had barely seen him. It was entertaining to think of him as such, though. Even if he was a fake. "I recognize it. Mostly by your family name. But I can't say I feel very famous," she teased. It was a bit disheartening that he did not recognize her clan. However, no matter how deeply established into Reim they were, it was still small in comparison.

He explained what how they were going to start and what he was going to do to her. The needles were concerning. She didn't like being poked or prodded with anything. It happened much too often for her liking. Diana tensed up a bit as she stared at the senbon in his hands. "Do what you need to do. I know my limits," she said, rolling her wrist and shoulder for a moment to relax the muscles.

After getting the "ok" from Diana, Lagi went to work. The first thing that Lagi did was place an acupuncture needle in the middle of Diana's spinal cord, collapsing her from the waist down temporarily. However, Lagi would catch her before she fell to make sure that the procedure was safe and that the needle didn't lodge too deeply. After that, Lagi would massage Diana's left leg up to her thigh, tricking his finger around every vein and muscle fiver, losing it up.  She shouldn't really feel anything for the time being, but it could be the idea of  Lagi feeling upon her in such an embarrassing way that could make her face flushed.


"Now for the pull....."

Lagi would then start to pull on Diana's left leg, and strangely enough, it started to stretch out. As a matter of fact, stretching out at all to be longer than it's usual length could be considered as alarming to Diana, but Lagi had no intention of stopping. He pulled the leg as far as 5 feet with is B rank grip and strength, keeping a Perfect balance as he brought her to the necessary point, and slowly brought her leg back.



After doing the same to the next leg, would move over to Diana's arms.

"Feeling anything yet?  Are you ok?"

He reached his hand around her and a sharp pain radiated around a certain point in her spine. Diana winced at the sensation and felt her legs give out from underneath her. They were completely numb and it was a bizarre feeling. At this point, she had no choice but to trust him. Thankfully, Lagi was able to catch her before she fell. She helped him hold her up with her own strength and keep herself upright by placing her hands on his shoulders.

Intrigued by the situation, she peered down to see his hands moving up her thigh. "A bit forward, don't you think?" she said, raising her eyebrows a bit in suspicion. He began to tug on her leg and she felt the vibration in her body from all of her bones unhinging along with her muscles stretching. It made her nauseous and she looked away, focusing on whatever was behind him. It was only a few moments before he adjusted her, moving to the other leg.

Once he was finished with her legs, he attempted to move over to her arms. She would shrug her shoulders a bit. "It's not the most pleasant feeling in the world but... is there a chair you could set me down in? I feel like a stuffed doll," she said, letting out a weak laugh. It would be hard to hold herself up without the use of her arms.

"Do you want to do it on a chair? A bit late for special requests, don't you think? From how gung-ho you made yourself out to be, I thought you'd be willing to do it anywhere?"

Of course, the choice of words could have been a little better, but the sexual innuendos were hard to resist at a point. As Lagi edged a little closer to Diana's left arm, he would prick her bicep with a senbon needle, paralyzing it as he continued his specialized acupuncture technique. Tracing his fings up and down her arm, from the armpit, shoulder, and elbow, Lagi's perfect balance and carefulness with hitting the key points of relaxing the body to an extreme point made it much easier to prepare Diana for stretching.

"Ok, here it comes. "

It was at that point that Lagi started to stretch Diana's arm up to five feet, with the arm not even needing to be dislocated in order to get that long.

"A secret technique that's passed down to master body manipulators. When you get taught, the first thing that happens is that you get prepped. Getting prepped usually comes with pain, but I'm giving you a special service. "



After doing the same to the other arm, Lagi would take two last senbon and insert it between the middle of Diana's cleavage and the top of her head, which would have added somewhat of a sensation to her body. Something changed, but Diana wouldn't know what, not without an explanation anyway.

"This is to help the recovery rate of your body, synchronizing the mental notes of your mind and body as one, without bringing the senbon too close to your heart. In a way, this is me making sure your body understand it's a permanent and newly natural thing. If it rejects the change, you could be sore and crap, or maybe extend a limb by accident without hopes of naturally retracting it. Give it a minute....."



After that Lagi would proceed to remove each and every senbon from her body. When he was done, he would offer a hand to help her up, but from three feet away.

"How do you feel?"

Diana rolled her eyes at his reply to her request, catching onto the several innuendos. "Considering I can't move my legs, it's a bit uncomfortable being held by a masked clown." Another sharp pain was suddenly pricked into her left arm, leaving it just as numb as her legs. She leaned her head back to stare blankly at the ceiling, letting him work her arm out. The same sensation was felt but it was closer to her chest this time. She tried to ignore it so she wouldn't vomit. If she could describe the feeling in one word, it would be disgusting.

"Well, I appreciate it. Thank you. I couldn't imagine what this would feel like otherwise," she replied. Diana didn't really want to find out how much pain she would have endured. Despite her being incredibly uncomfortable with the situation, it was definitely an experience. It was similar to acupuncture yet seemingly more dangerous. She wondered how many times he had to do this or if this was the last time. But she wouldn't question it yet.

Lagi would take his time and do the same to her other arm. The only thing holding her up being her core strength and his support. She watched his hands move over to her forehead and chest, sticking more senbon into her skin. However, this didn't paralyze her. It felt rather relaxing and there was a slight tingling in her numb limbs that spread throughout her body. She furrowed her brows, gazing around the room in an awkward attempt to understand what was going on.

"Well... let's hope my body isn't going to do that."

After a short period of time, he would begin to remove every senbon from her body. The tingling faded and function slowly returned to her limbs with her arms being the first. She weakly grabbed onto his extended hand for support as she readjusted to the use of her legs. Diana didn't feel as sore as she expected to. Her muscles were pleasantly relaxed and felt looser than they ever had before. "Not too bad. This feels quite nice," she said, rolling her shoulders backwards. "This isn't everything, though, is it?" Diana felt in her gut that there was more to this routine but only he knew that.

"Have you such a problem with the mask? Well, I think it's quite charming, achieving beyond human limitations with the help of a masked stranger. I told you who I was, and you wouldn't believe me, so it's not like I pulled you off the streets with this "ordeal". On the bright side, just think of the things you could accomplish now. "

Laughing to himself, Lagi would about the far corner of the lion tamer's den, which was empty. Ther were a few chairs over there, not being used or even damaged by last nights performance. Effortlessly lifting it over his head with his b rank strength, Lagi plaed a chair down near Diana for her to sit for a while.

"Well princess Diana, here is the chair that you requested to do it in. You like? Comfy for you?"

Lagi would say this in mocking tone, but he was still a bit playful with it, to say the least.

"To be honest, what's left is for you to adjust quickly to the changes that your body just experienced. The limitations of body manipulation depend on each person, but it doesn't all stop at the simple extension of your limbs. What I did to you is more complicated than that.  For example...."

With that being said, Lagi took up a stance of some kind, squatting with his legs.  Within seconds, the muscles of Lagi's legs began to bulge through his spandex attire, showing high definition.

"As you become more experenced with mastering your body, it also shows in the number of limbs and muscles you can manipulate at a time. Things like this will be easy to, feats such as jumping a high distance repeatedly. "

Using the jumping bean ability and powering it up to an absurd degree, Lagi then began jumping around at A rank speeds, covering 40 meters at a time. The final jump landed Lagi on the trapeze bar up top, landing on it with one foot with perfect balance.

"Impressive huh? But starting out, one limb would be sufficient for you. "

Jumping off the trapeze and flipping in the air, Lagi would gain an absurd amount of airtime, already being 40 meters in the air and jumping up to 40 more meters. As he fell, Lagi would add a few spins in the air as he landed on the ground with an amazing thud. Due to the fact that his body manipulation had shock absorption with his jumping and lands, Lagi didn't feel a thing. However, his B rank strength made a small quake when he landed.

"This place is perfect for training body manipulation. "

"You can talk about your identity all you want but until you take that mask off, you're full of it to me."

Diana had her eyes locked onto him, watching him walk over to another part of the tent. He grabbed a chair and placed a chair down next to her. She took no time to sit in it, crossing her legs and leaning her arm on the back of it. "Oh yes. It's perfect. But not quite fit for a princess. More for a jester such as yourself," she said, a snarky tone in her voice. Two could play at the game of words but she ended it there and instead chose to listen to him speak.

She observed how his body changed, allowing him to jump to great heights. The further he got from her, the more muted his voice became. She saw him land on top of a trapeze bar and squinted her eyes to get a better look. "Very nice!" she yelled out, clapping her hands a few times. Her attention was drawn off of him as she began to stare at her left hand. "I wonder if I could... Hm..." She mumbled a few broken sentences to herself as she began to focus.

Her hand began to form slightly into a taper which was what she was wanting yet it didn't stay for long. She brought her face closer to it, furrowing her brows. It was almost there until Lagi slammed down into the ground for a landing. She peered up from her focus, slightly peeved. "Well, I don't plan on doing whatever you did there. Let me just..." Her voice trailed off again as she got up and turned around towards the chair.

Diana focused her mind onto her hand once more, letting it come to a sharp taper similar to that of a beast with claws. She had never punched anything with an open hand before but she was prepared for the consequences. Her arm lifted up in preparation and with great speed, she pierced through the chair and into the ground about 15 centimeters. It took a second but the earth shook for a brief moment before dropping into a large, shallow crater. Diana lifted her arm out of the hole she created and examined her hand. It felt as if she had fractured it but it wasn't broken as she feared. "Well, that didn't go as expected but it was a good try." After giving a quick look around, she felt slightly embarrassed that she hadn't held back her natural strength but she silently hoped he wouldn't notice or care.

"I'll have to practice this for a week or two at least... but I think I'll get this whole... manipulation down. But in the meantime, could you fetch me another chair?"

"Take off my mask? And why should I do that? If you trusted me enough with your body, that I didn't poison you or make you go unconscious or anything of the sort, how come you can't trust what I tell you when it comes to who I am? If we came this far, the mask shouldn't even matter at this point, you should just believe what I say, being from a reim related clan adds you that much leeway with me, maybe. "

Looking at Diana explore with her newfound abilities, Lagi would smile from under his mask as she morphed her hand into a claw. The power that her claw was backing was also something that Lagi took into account.

"You know, you might be a natural at this after all. But for passing you another chair, that's a negative there, buddy. Don't think your pretty face will get you what you want all of the time, it work's sometimes. "

Lagi said this with a wink and moved it out of the way.

"You got a bit of the morphing sensations down, and we didn't even get to the basics. What id like you to do is reach over and extend the arm as far as you can. From where you are standing right now, I want you to grab the chair with one hand and pull it closer to you. Do you think you can do that?"

Diana pushed her hair behind her ears and raised her arm to point towards the chair. She tried to focus but the more she did, her hand would only morph into the clawed form it did previously. Frustrated, she dropped that arm and lifted her other one. That one wouldn't stretch either no matter how much she tried. "I can't do it right now, I'll just go get the chair," she said, walking over towards the chair and dragging it back closer to where she originally was. "This might take me a while," she mumbled.

As she concentrated on preforming the task he asked of her, Diana started to talk to him. "The reason I don't trust who you say you are is because you're claiming to be a king. Any fool can claim the identity of one. However, I don't quite remember what he looked like. I suppose it wouldn't matter, then." She shrugged her shoulders back, switching arms periodically as she got more frustrated with one over the other.

Watching the woman with her hand but be unable to even extend it to a few inches, Lagi would groan a little at the fact that she wasn't getting fully used to the body yet. However, it just happened, and it was a possibility that she needed some rest. At the moment, he didn't really care whatever Diana believed,

"I have a suggestion for you, how about you go to the nearest inn or wherever you are staying and take a nice break? Maybe for the next twenty-four hours at the very least, you would need your rest, and maybe eat a lot of food. There are a few new foods that I might have a pallet for, maybe some more vegetables and fruits. Not to say that this makes you go vegan, but from the way that you use your body manipulation means that your body will require different things. No need to rush, you can meet me here tomorrow night after the next day's show. Or you can not, it's really up to you if you don't want me to teach you anything. If you think you got it...."

His offer still stood, Lagi would of wanted Diana to giver her body some rest first.

Diana leaned onto the chair, feeling slightly defeated in result of her failures. He began to suggest for her to get some rest. She groaned in detestment before weakly getting up from the chair. While Lagi had wanted her to return the next day, she decided that she would not show her face to him until she could complete the task he gave to her. With newfound determination, she placed a hand on his shoulder. "I'll be back... soon. Just wait for me," she said, removing her hand and making her way out of the tent.

When she finally arrived at a local inn, she would lay down in the bed and immediately fall asleep from a sudden exhaustion that ran over her. When she woke, it had felt like she slept for years yet it only had seemed like it had been a few hours. Diana left the inn and went straight into the forest. It was a quiet place and felt optimal for her concentration. For the first few days, she would attempt to stretch her fingers and experiment with her diet. Diana tried to take his advice by encorporating more natural foods into her eating habits very slowly and it began to work. Day by day she made slight progress and her confidence rose.

During the second week was when she found that she made the most progress. As disgusting as it felt and looked, she was able to extend her arm further out. By the end of the week, she was confident that she had the task down. On the final day, she made her way over to the circus once more. It seemed like she had made it just in time as it seemed like it was the final night. She waited outside the tent for him to emerge.

It was the last show, and it was also the last day of putting on a kind charade. Even though Lagi was capable of good things, there were some things that he would surprise people about with what he was capable of doing. At the very least, giving these people some hope and giving them a few smiles with his mastery of body manipulation was something to keep his mind off the other things he had to do as Requiem Jynx. Even though it was more so a relationship that led to a means to an end, he couldn't help but like it.  He liked the weight that the name brought about, creating something akin to a legacy.

"But these days, names and titles, they all blend into one singular thing."

Come to think of it, the first person that Lagi took an interest in when it came to teaching body manipulation never came back. It seemed as if she took the advice of resting her body, but never came back for more guidance or advice. Though, that was most of the relationships that he had with women. After one night, or even after the 24 hour period, they leave at the end for some reason. It didn't mean anything to Lagi, he was skilled enough that he made sure that her body would gradually get used to the changes, an untimely death wouldn't be linked to the body manipulation process whatsoever.

"Last show huh?!"

The crowd cheered as Lagi gave one final bow with the rest of the cast.



Wiping himself down with a towel and putting the stuffy mask down, Lagi would yawn as he looked around the Kou plaza from the outside of the tent. Much to his surprise, he saw the woman again. After quickly putting some pressure on his face with his fingers and changing it up, Lagi would call out to her again.

"And here I thought you skipped town?"

Lagi was without his mask, but the voice was still the same.  However, with mask change, Lagi's face was completely different to what he usually used.

Diana had been waiting a while. She was nervous he wouldn't show or that he had already left. Her foot tapped against the worn slabs of brick below her. It was hard to see amongst the crowd of people moving through the plaza but she waited for him to find her at the very least.

"And here I thought you skipped town?"

A familiar voice rang out to her. She turned to see a strange man. It was him but without a mask. However, his face was not recognizable to her. It made her wonder if he was truly lying about his identity or if she really didn't remember how the old king of Reim had looked. She shook her head, banishing the thoughts. Diana was grateful enough that he had managed to find her.

"I told you I would return. I'm able to do what you've asked if you'll let me show you."

She was eager to hear his response, fiddling with her hands behind her back. "But I understand if you do not consider me your student. I did leave you wondering for a while but I kept my word." Her expression painted her conviction and dedication to the task. She was serious yet anxious. While her confidence in her ability was high, there was still room for doubt.

"Yeesh, you talk to your mother with that mouth?"

Lagi would say a bit jokingly as he invited Diana inside of the tent. As she could see, a few things were packed away, due to this being the last show of the Kou tour. However, the chairs remained, as well as a few other things.

"It's not like I never believed in you in the first place, I just wanted you to take things a bit easy while adjusting to the changes of your new body.  It comes off a bit simple as to what you are capable of,  but you are in for a treat later on tonight I have something to show you that will probably change your mind about body manipulation if you had one way of thinking about it. "

As to the doubts that Diana had, Lagi would just scoff. " Look,  you need to stop that. It's unattractive when you doubt yourself. Once I invited you inside of the tent, it was obvious that I had the intention of teaching you. You shouldn't think of it as anything other than that. I'm not berating you in my mind or perverting you in my thoughts. "

This chick was some work, but Lagi will beat it out of her if he had to.

"Now, I'm going to do something you won't like. I'm going to change the narrative.  You came prepared to do a slow stretch reach of being at one spot, and reaching over to a few chairs quite a few feet away from you. Unfortunately, I'm not that kind, I'll be tossing these chairs one at a time in the air, and you will be coordinating your reaction time with the newfound capabilities of your muscles, reaching out to the chairs and basically stacking them like a pyramid. Not only is this an excellent stretching exercise, but it allows you to get used to the quickness of stretching out, as well as testing the limits to see just how long you can make your arm go. "

Walking over to the chairs, Lagi would smile.

"One more thing, we start now.  You get no time to mentally prepare yourself, you don't get that kind of time when you are being attacked.  NOW!"

Throwing the chair up in the air, Lagi was expecting to see something interesting.

Diana ducked beneath the thick canvas that dropped abruptly behind her as she followed him into the tent. It didn't look as it did before. Only a few things remained as the other objects presumably rested in the crates around the room. The indent she left in the ground was still there, messily filled in with a mixture of sand and dirt.

He wanted to show her something later on that night. It piqued her interest. "I'll be looking forward to it." There was no hint as to what it was but it left her wondering.

"I'm not trying to be attractive," she hissed, crossing her arms, "And I'm especially not thinking anything like that." If there wasn't a time she was compelled to hit him before, it was now. Diana refrained from doing so but his words left a sour taste in her mouth. She bit onto her thumb nail as she listened to him speak.

"I can assure you that I'm more than capable of doing this task."

There was the slightest bit of doubt in her mind but her bitterness was stronger. She wanted to prove herself regardless if she could do it or not. A chair flew up in the air and she jumped, startled. The flow of time seemed to slow as adrenaline rushed through her body. Without much thought, she managed to stretch her arm forward to grab the chair right before it hit the ground. It nearly dragged across the surface of the ground as she relocated it to the side. Her arm snapped back to it's normal structure and her eyes darted back over to Lagi in anticipation for the next throw.

"Oh? And here I thought that you would get cold feet and miss the catch. Very good....but don't start celebrating yet!"  Lagi would then start to throw another chair, and another, and another.  He performed each throw with accuracy and precision, calculating the measurements of how long Diana can currently stretch her hand internally and testing to see if just a few more inches of height inconspicuously could possibly extend Diana's own reach.

If he was right about her, and normally, it was a tossup of his own instincts, Diana had a small window of a growth period she could reach in the next few days. This meant that if she kept at it, she could probably realize her own potential in no time.

"Come on Come on!"

The throws started to get a little faster this time as Lagi gave directions. The stacking started to be quite a bit on one side, So lagi changed the curriculum

"This time, you'll catch one chair and use it to knock the other one away. It's a few more seconds of stretch time besides simply retracting and relaxing your muscles. With this particular pace, it tests your muscular endurance as to how long you can keep yourself extended while doing strenuous activity. "

Another short exhale left her lips as she reached for the next chair and those after that. Her arms began to feel sore and it was making her sweat. She hadn't trained at this speed nor did she expect it to be thrust upon her so abruptly. The tower he had her build was beginning to become unstable, swaying at the slightest touch.

"This time, you'll catch one chair and use it to knock the other one away. It's a few more seconds of stretch time besides simply retracting and relaxing your muscles. With this particular pace, it tests your muscular endurance as to how long you can keep yourself extended while doing strenuous activity. "

Diana furrowed her brows, slamming one of the chairs into the ground out of pure frustration. She would catch onto another one and then slam the next chair in Lagi's direction. "Really? What's next-- juggling?" she hissed. The rest of the chairs would be flung downwards, creating a pile of debris.

"Good, you seem to be functioning quite well. And no...... no juggling this time. "

Lagi would chuckle a bit at the fact of how upset the woman was, but the worst was over. He didn't essentially need to terrorize her anymore, and the majority of her body manipulation introductory course was over.

"Diana, we are pretty much finished for the time being. From what I can tell, you are only capable of manipulating one limb at a time, and this is probably your limit for now. However, the excessive use of applying your body manipulation abilities in everyday life is crucial to make sure that your skills aren't dulled. It's still a muscle, continued use leads up to its continued growth Don't be afraid to test the waters."
