Altan Doing Odd Jobs : Deliveryman [Solo/Job]

Job Details:

The last time Altan went to visit the boy was a disaster, he accidentally burned down his house and got nowhere to live. Fortunately for him, the old lady was willing to take him in, considering she only lived in her house alone with her wolf and might need some help for some chores. Grateful by the good deed that the old lady had done for the boy, the redhead decided to visit them again but not with an empty hand. The basket that that was hanging on her arm had a lot of things inside, starting from various fruits like apples, oranges and pears. There was a big homemade bread with strawberry jam as well inside the basket and to make it healthier, several bottles of milk were placed inside too. The Fanalis hoped that her little gift would be helpful for the old lady and the boy, not only that, she had packed some raw meat cubes for the wolf as well so the friendly creature would feel loved too.

The redhead brought her fist to knock at the old lady's house as soon as she got there, excited to know how they were doing. It took a several minutes before the old lady opened the door, her face looked a little bit tired and Altan noticed that the old lady was worried over something. "You came in the right time, I need your help." Said the old lady as she tapped Altan's shoulder and gave the Fanalis a weary smile. The old woman let Altan enter the house and led her to the room where the boy was staying at the moment. She noticed what made the old lady worried as she entered the room, inside, the boy was laying down on the bed, panting with red face. "Possibly some kind of fever. But I know it's not dangerous." The old lady stepped back from the room and let Altan to got out first before she close the door and walked towards the stack of woods and vegetables. "I need your help to deliver these woods and vegetables to the nearby market in the town, figured you would be much faster than me to buy the boy his medicine as well so I can take care of him in the meantime." The redhead nodded and quickly brought all the woods and vegetables that she needed to deliver on her back before she head towards the town and reminding herself that she need to buy fever medicine for the boy as well on her way back.

It was an easy job for a Fanalis like herself, her speed helped her to save time to go to the town much faster than normal human speed could. Altan would stop herself for a little bit as she reached the entrance of the town, trying to manage her breathing by exhaling and inhaling the air slowly. She could feel her heart was beating fast because of the running, but after taking several minutes for resting, Altan would start to head to the market.

As she dropped the vegetables and the woods to the assigned stall, the redhead would quickly head to the nearest clinic so she could by the medicine for the boy, slightly worried about the boy's condition and wondering what would happen if she didnt come back fast enough. Altan shook her head from that kind of thought, thinking that it could affect her mind and also affecting her speed if she didnt focus. The redhead would begin to run again, this time as she already memorized the path that she needed to take, it was easier for her to adjust her speed and possibly only gave her a short time to come back to the old lady's house. Fortunately, she made it in time and it seemed because of the old woman's care, the boy's condition was not as bad as before and he only need to drink the medicine so he could be fully recovered. Not only that, after having some talking with the old lady she said she decided to just adopt the boy so she can take care of him and so she could teach the boy a lot of things about living in the mountain.
