The Beginning (Arena Introduction Post)

In the dreamland where the winter wonderland was being conjured by the group of mysterious spells, an arena was standing firmly in the middle of white snowy ground. The snow kept falling endlessly, and painted the Open Seas with its white color. The arena, with its glassy barrier and wooden base, looked like a snow globe from afar. However that will be the place where the brave and strong warriors will fight in a tournament, proving that they were worthy to be the best throughout the land. It wouldn’t be individual who was determined to be the best, though, but the team who stood last that will win and be considered as the strongest team in this dreamland.


The prideful warriors would slowly opened their eyes from their deep slumber only to find themselves standing in the middle of a massive area with The Arena in the middle. If they approach the arena, they would be able to see stairs that would lead them to inside the tournament battlegrounds. Once they climbed the stairs, they could see a huge empty space in the middle of the arena with two entrances, one was the one that they were standing at right now and the other one was in the opposite side.

Suddenly a mysterious voice echoed throughout the arena, “Greeting brave warriors! For all of you who woke up in the part of winter wonderland, you must be very prideful warriors who had no fear to prove your own strength to others.” At this point, a 1 meter long icy wall appeared in front of them and began to show an image, but instead of showing the identity of the owner of that mysterious voice, it showed an image of a coin. “Now for all of you, who want to enjoy a battle in the middle of this snowy weather, split yourself into a team of 5~! Guard the pride of your team! Win, and you will get the most wonderful prize~.”

OOC: Choose one representative for each team and please roll the dice, post the result after this post. The result would whether a “Nope” or a “Score”. The first two teams who post and get same result will be the first teams to fight. However, if first two teams posted and got different result, then the 1st team who post will fight the 3rd team as the first match. This dice roll is to determine which teams will fight first

With all the other posting that needs to be done, I think I'm going to just roll the dice instead of making a 'pretty' post~

All of them might be worried to stay in the middle of a harsh snowfall, which became even swifter than before, but the barrier would protect them from cold, after all. It also wouldn’t let them exit the place. One with the ability to see the flow of rukh would notice that the barrier was actually a giant swarm of rukh. It would still let other contestant to enter the arena yet once they entered, and they would be trapped inside until the tournament was finished.

The mysterious voice sounded amused when he looked at the first two teams that would fight each other. He could feel the strength of both the groups, and couldn’t wait to see how the contestants would fight. “Now that we know who will be fighting first, I will help you to get in your position~.” Then, by using the power of magic, the owner of the mysterious voice levitated Zadi’s team, the Geraint team, into the opposite podium. After that he would use his magic again to levitate Eve’s team to the spectator bench so they can watch the fight. “Team Geraint and Team Gray Rukh, set your team position and let the Winter Wonderland Tournament begin!”

OOC: Both team’s first fighters need to choose between Nope and Score for the roll dice. The DM will roll the dice after that, and the team that guessed the correct side will get to choose who gets to post first in the fight. Post your response and give OOC note for your chosen coin side (Nope or Score) in 48 hours.

As all the participant was inside the arena, they would all have a slightly strange feeling. All the warriors could feel the time moved very slowly as if someone slowing it down. The emcee who was now sitting on his fancy big chair and enjoying every moment of the battle smiled, as if he knew what happened. It was obvious that he was the one who was causing this to happen, but no, not the time control, even he didn’t have such kind of power. What he did was just playing the warriors mind, but without intention to harm them. The only purpose was only to see their strength at once and this was the only way to do it, so with a help from unknown powers who created the dreamland, the man adjusted his top hat before snapping his thumb and middle finger twice. The entire participant would feel dizzy at first but when they opened their eyes, they would stand on the podium with their opposing teams standing firm from opposite of them. When they looked around, they could see the same crowd cheering for them and the other team who was not having their turn to fight sitting quietly at the spectator’s seat.

As strange as it felt, they were now in a different space of dream even though they were all just staying at the same area. While Team Geraint and Team Gray Rukh were fighting like decided before and Team Fulgur became their spectators, in another space of dream Team Geraint would fight Team Fulgur while Team Gray Rukh would watch the fight. Yet, in another space of dream, Team Gray Rukh would fight Team Fulgur while Team Geraint would watch the fight. The white haired man would always be in all the spaces, watching the fight with his big mysterious smile while sitting on his fancy chair, wondering if he could see something interesting from all the fight now that he could watch it all.
