Eligos: Main Hall [Merrze/Lagi KILL VIABLE]

Upon entering the Gate, the Main Hall appears as a burnt wasteland of singed rock and destroyed structures. There are no set paths to the portal on the other end of the wasteland, approximately 200 meters away. All around, the landscape was filled with crumbling structures sinking and bobbing in pools of lava. It would appear as though, at one time or another, there may have been actual buildings, but all that remained now were the scorched stone pillars. In this sea of lava, the only way to the other side would be to find a path across what remained above the line of molten rock. There was no clearly definable path, only several rocky islands that could be crossed by jumping or flight.

If the entrants were especially attentive, they would see movement on the rocky crags and resting atop the pillars. While there was nothing apparently human in the area, creatures of all types had made their home in this hellish environment. These creatures had all adapted to the rough terrain, nearly immune to the battering heat of the lava. No matter which island someone chose to jump to, they were likely to encounter something that did not appreciate being disturbed.

Room Details:

Apparently so, Lagi took point while being mounted on El DRago.  He looked around and made a grunt, this seemed to be a pretty new thing from what he's used to.  “ Alright, from what i can see, these areas could only be traversed by either jumping or  flying. I’m not too sure  with carrying everyone so i think that it's best if we stick with our respected mounts. “ LAgi took a look at Fluffy with his trained eye in beast taming. Fluffy should be able to perform the feat, longer distances could  be assisted with el drago using his hand as a stepping stone and giving you a small boost to your jump to go through a few distances while he glides for a bit, guiding his hand in the process.
Lagi would them point at a  stone formation straight ahead.

I say that we cut through  there and check out whatever's over there, alright? Scouting maybe ? Hopefully fluffy is up to the challenge, that's my idea though. Lagi would then look at Merrze too. We can go with your idea too, you're the king candidate, but be mindful of something, there are plenty of other rooms and we won't be getting a freebie of magoi, There's a time to fight and there's a time to run, and every decision counts, so what do you decide that we do? “  El drago was quiet, it didn’t too quiet, but it still felt ominous being in this place. “Decide quick…. i don't want to be here longer than i have to be.  If there is an enemy close by hindering this plan, we should defeat it quick before deciding on anything else. “Or make  run for it, if we don't have to fight, no need to waste energy on these smallfry.

Lagi’s idea-

Merrze walked into the room and admired it for a sec as she waited fro Lagi to enter, it looked like she was going to have to mount Fluffy so she climbed atop the beast and had him walk forward. It looked pretty deserted so she had no idea how she would find the exit but she assumed it would involve traversing to the other side of the room, she could be wrong but now was the time to hurry up and move, as she heard Lagi walked in and she heard his suggested plan. She would take his suggestion, while she was the leader he was more experienced so it was better to trust him on this, though if she felt like they should do something else she would inform him.

"Hmm, I agree we can't really waste time so I agree, Fluffy should be able to make the jumps, he may not seem like it but this guy can actually jump pretty far. But hopefully we can hurry up and get out of here."

She turned right and had her pet move forward until they would reach the end of their path. When she reached the end she would hop over to the island across from them , hopefully if she encountered any monsters she would be able to outrun them but just in case she would be prepared to fight. After she arrived at the next island she would decide where they should move on out from there. She had never been in a dungeon so she had no idea what was in store, which only mad the fanalis want tot speed through it even faster. In the warrior's eyes the more time the wasted the bigger chance that something would come along and kill them, hopefull it didn't happen.

While Merrze traversed to the right, she would find herself on a small island of rocks. The movement of her and Fluffy in the terrain would draw the attention of two Lava Wyrms on the island directly north of them, approximately 10 meters away. One would slip into the lava while the other would remain on the opposite shore, giving a hellish screech. Upon spotting Merrze, the Lava Wyrm on the shore would use Spurt to spit lava at the Fanalis girl and her pet. The other Lava Wyrm would remain under the surface of the Lava, awaiting an opportunity to strike. If Lagi remained in the air, he would be out of the range of any strikes.

Combat Details:

To provide  some form of cover for merrze, El drago  Descended at 25 m/s speeds to intercept the attack due to the fact that he out sped the attack at 5 m/s,  and pushed forward at 25 m/s while simultaneously using wing pivot and utilizing his  hard dragon like scales. In this case, El Drago and LAgi would be blocking the attack from even reaching merrze pivoting it away as el drago would be doing some sort of wing shoulder tackle at  25 m/s and A rank strength towards the  lava wyrm.  Just with a simple glance of the beast, LAgi was able to judge the capabilities of punishment that the beast could take and drew his bow of heaven just incase he needed to give cover fire.
 
Knew that by acknowledging himself as a bigger threat and engaging the enemy,  they would take their eyes off of merrze and fluffy for a moment and  the fanalis candidate could make the jump over to the island safely.  Also, with the wing shoulder tackle combo, if there was a worst case scenario that involved el drago having to pivot a move once more,  he could already use the wing in use  or the other one of needed be. It was a good move for the time being, but the dungeon only started,  agi only  hoped that  Merrze would pull through  once he and the dragon started getting gassed.  With the 10 meter distance. El drago’s attack would of easily  cover the distance with his speed in less than half of a second in his case and hopefully defeat the enemy.

Measurement's- El Drago/Lagi was 25 meters up in the air from between the distance that merrze had had with her attacker. Once i descended , i would of been 5 meters away from the attack, using wing pivot and attacking at the same time, ramming el drago's scales wing into the beast with his wing have a 10 meter enough to protect myself and stopping it from reaching merrze while pushing forward.

I then attempted to crush the lava wyrm by going over to the other side, if successful i would be somewhat hovering in the lava wyrm's original position.

Lagi’s Wing Pivot successfully deflected the attack of the Lava Wyrm, but when El Drago attempted to tackle the creature, it easily deflected this with Spurt and slipped into the lava before the Dragon landed. Now in the lava, the first Wyrm kept its attention focused on Merrze, the girl and her creature still standing on the small island. It swam under the surface of the lava, undetectable, until it surfaced to the right of the woman, using Splash to swipe lava up onto the island to try and strike both the girl and her pet with the flow of lava. Without warning, the other Lava Wyrm, which had remained under the molten flow until now, surfaced to the left of the woman, mirroring the attack of the first and using Splash to try and strike the girl and her pet with lava.

The Lava Wyrms were each 8 meters from Merrze and Fluffy, swimming in the lava, while putting a distance of 15 meters from the Dragon and his tamer. They remained focused on the weaker target, knowing they would not be able to do anything to Reim’s Emperor but still hoping to take out the weaker target Merrze and Fluffy presented.

The fanalis was surrounded by the two creatures on both sides, they were a hassle to deal with since they were both launching attacks at the girl. She used her lightning pendant to fire a lightning bolt to clash with the attack on the left and used her right arm which had her slime gauntlet on it to shoot a stream of slime to clash with the attack that was coming from her right side. These monster sure would be a hassle so she decided it would be best to try and run away from them. She would have Fluffy leap onto the platform on the right of El Drago and Lagi so that the two of them would be close but away from the creatures.

As they jumped away from the creatures she would have Fluffy fire two stone pellets from it's body to hit the two lava wyrms and hopefully kill them but if that didn't work she would continue to run from the creatures and try to refrain from using too much energy. Hopefully Lagi would be ready to run if they had too, she would kill them if she had too but there were most likely stronger creatures that she would need energy to face.

El Drago sustained Wing pivot to block the spurt, but that was only cover fire to get away from the dragon. "......" Lagi noticed that merrze had an easier time in handling herself and el drago took notice as well. With that being said. Lagi figured that it would be best for him to throw about two darts of ammunition as well as el drago took flight towards the area ahead (Yellow marker) As for the darts attack each dart would be travelling at 10 m/s with a 30 meter travel rate, aiming at each wyrm. " Forget those small fry MErrze, we wasted enough magoi as it is. Lets keep moving, we will deal with them if they proceed to follow, or maybe one of our projectiles would kill one and discourage the other one of following. "First blood is always a good way of intimidation, even among beasts. With Lagi's expertise among beasts , he knew that any of the darts would kill with a direct hit.

Moving with 25 m/s light speed el drago took off more towards the area ahead of them, hoping to d some scouting. "If anything happens, i'll immediately engage in case we have pursuers. Id rather give you a better chance to cross the islands than have you falling back and wasting energy.Who knows how far Ayero and that...... thing... made it.

The Bolt of lightning Merrze used would be enough to protect her from the Spray of lava, however Fluffy would still be struck. The Slime was much more effective, blocking the Spray before it could strike either her or her beast. As Merrze and Fluffy made the jump to the opposite shore, the two Wyrms began to fall back beneath the surface of the lava, swimming around as they realized they would not be able to catch up to the girl or her beast. The two stone bullets plopped into the lava, useless. But Lagi's darts would strike them as they began to disappear, killing them. Drago's Wing Pivot was useless, the dragon on the opposite shore and out of the range of the ability.

This left Merrze, Lagi, Fluffy and El Drago on a rather thin stretch of island. There was a small island up and to the left of them, the only way left to get to the final stretch. As they traveled towards the end to try and go over, they would see a group of Lava Beaks flying about around the final stretch, but on the island they would need to jump across, a Lava Frog was croaking, his attention drawn by the splashing lava of the Wyrms from before. To the side of the Frog, another body lay strewn across the rocks.

El drago nodded his head as he started off with his own kind of plan. He and LAgi were 13 meters away from the frog which means that MErre and Fluffy were 13 meters away from the frog too f they were near LAgi and EL Drago. " Follow my lead and act on it, Battle sense......" He trusted MErre's battle sense atleast. He would then start to use his ace move Drago Estique, creating two small 1 meter cubes of Lightning magic that's formed and fired at 25 m/s, and travels as far as 40 meters. The cubes can explode, firing off electricity in a 12.5 meter diameter sphere at 25 m/s when it makes contact with a target or at will. The way that this ability was used was sparringly.

The first cube went towards the frog, with el drago's intelligence and skill with his abilities o past battles, his pure battle instincts allowed him to time the willed detonation correctly to cover the full 12.5 meters of the frog's side, leaving a .5 safe zone that would protect the group from getting paralyzed. AS a followup, LAgi used the huge aoe as a cover and tossed a dart towards the frog, moving at 10 m/s and covering 30 meters. Lagi's skills that were honed with kohai allowed for high end accuracy, even with potentially disabled senses.

The second cube would of reached toward the final island, which would have been potentially 30 meters away. IT would of been more than enough with drago estique's 40 meter reach moving at 25 m/s heading towards the Laval beaks. With el drago's intelligence as a factor, he would of timed it perfectly to have the cube be close enough to the group of laval beak in order to catch the all and paralyze them in one fell swoop with the timed detonation. if this was to happen, with the cube moving at 25 m/s the spread being 12.5 m/s and the speed of the detonation and spread also being 25 m/s it wouldn't be anything that the beaks would outrun

The fanalis could tell that Lagi also wanted to hurry up and get out of this room and move on. After all they couldn't waste too much time and energy at the very beginning or they would screw themselves slightly over as they would get farther along in their journey through the dungeon. The fanalis and her pet would most likely try to make a run for it. If the dragons paralysis attacks had landed and stunned the creatures then she would run over to the island with the lava frog then hurry up and hop over to the island with the Lava beaks hoping to see the exit so that they would be able to escape.

If the creatures had not been stunned she would try to get pass the frog and would fire two stone pellets at it from Fluffy if had decided to attack her. She would of course only attack it if the creature tried to attack her back while she tried to move forward and leave their current area. All things were possible though. She would think of other plans as things went on in case the slightest thing went wrong which would cause them to change their course of action. The fanalis was trying to be as prepared as possible.

The Lava Frog saw the incoming attack from Drago and responded with Tongue Lash, destroying the attack before it could harm him in any way. At the same time, he jumped to the side. Unfortunately, he moved too slow to avoid Lagi’s dart and croaked in anger at being damaged. Unphased, the Lava Frog used Dinner to coat the entire island in digestive enzymes. If Merrze or Fluffy attempted to jump to the island, they would land in the puddle. When Fluffy fired two pellets, Lava Frog used Munch to knock one out of the air before slapping its tongue to the side in a basic attack, clashing with the second stone pellet.

The second cube of lightning from El Drago would strike at the final island, the Lava Beaks not powerful enough to clash with the attack. When the cube exploded, the Beaks found their wings quite useless and fell to the ground with indignant squawks. They would not be moving anytime soon.

The fanalis was prepared to fight if needed but her priority was still to run, she would try to have Fluffy jump at the frog and use him as a jump pad for the final island, if this worked she would have Fluffy shoot 1 stone pellet as they were retreating and then gun it for the exit to hopefully move on to the next part of the dungeon. If the creature attacked her on her way to the exit she would use Thundering Art to counter it and then get to the exit hoping that the Dragon Emperor would follow after her so they could make a run for it. She didn't want to spend much energy on the frog.

If the off chance that it tried to move she would destroy whatever he puked up with Fluffy's Roaring Inferno, and then would leap and continue to run to the exit and if it attacked she would use Thundering Art to clash like in the previous plan. If he tried to attack while she was coming towards her she would clash with Roaring Inferno and hopefully continue onward to the next place. The fanalis was trying to be as prepared as possible so that she didn't get herself hurt but anything was possible in the dungeon it seemed.

Since Lagi and el drago handed a bit of the work so far Lagi thought it was a good of enough time for him and El Drago to make run for it. Merrze had the same idea, so it was safe to say that Lagi and merrze was on the same page. "Run!"El drago flew at top speed towards the portal, the island was unguarded because of the technique that El Drago performed to paralyze the opponents. Also, El drago was out of range from the frog and its attack, which should of been gravely injured about now and at least potentially stumbled to function, or making a strategic retreat for its life. " Moving at 25 m/s, it was a clear goal to reach the finish fine.

-Attempted Exit to the portal.

The Lava Frog watched as Fluffy began to jump towards it and moved to the side, not wanting to have the creature land on his head. With a loud croak, he used Dinner to coat the island in digestive enzymes again, only to have the vomit destroyed by Fluffy’s Roaring Inferno. When Merrze jumped to the island, the frog tried to Tongue Lash her, only to have it interrupted by Thundering Art. Determined to have his meal, the Lava Frog used Munch, wrapping his tongue around Merrze’s leg and dragging her closer to him and coating her leg in digestive fluids that would begin to eat away at her flesh.

Lagi, with his gift of flight, had already paralyzed the Lava Beaks, leaving it free for him to continue to the portal, if he so chose. If Lagi chose to touch the Portal, he would find himself transported to the Midway.


Lagi would find himself manifested at one end of a 30 meter bridge. The bridge spanned a large river of lava, the bubbling, boiling stream of molten rock giving off noxious fumes. At the other end of the bridge would be a wide, open area. This room was seemingly less dangerous to traverse than the Main Hall, no islands to jump across. However, there were steam vents and small lava flows, all giving off billowing clouds of noxious mist.

The mist rose, settling a mere ten meters above the bridge. If anyone were to try and fly, they would find themselves coughing and choking on the ash and gas in the mist. It would be best to walk. The bridge was a small 3 meters wide. The entire room held an ominous feel and visibility was reduced to no more than 20 meters.

If Lagi were to try and continue to the end of the bridge, he and Drago would encounter a group of Lava Bats. The group of four flying creatures would screech and fly 12 meters, up into the mist, twirling and stirring the noxious fumes. Each of the Lava Bats would use Billowing Mist to coat the entire end of the bridge and the surrounding area in the noxious gasses.

That damn frog was definitely being way too much of a pain, so el drago closed in on the frog from behind at 25 m/s. The dagos was making sure to get enough space for lagi to make his move against the beast, they fought together for so long that Lagi knew that he was going to take charge and provide a few offensive moves this time. Lagi took out his angelic bow and fired off a basic shot while el drago was about 5 meters away from the frog. Lagi used merrze as a distraction to potential kill the frog from behind, on top of the fact that the arrow moved at 20 m/s and would take less than a second to reach the target, as well as less than a second for el drago to get close enough to the target. Hopefully merrze can defend herself against the frog's attacks so they can continue. "Don't give up!!! Merrze!!""

The fanalis was annoyed by the frog and his attacks, By the looks of it she wasn't going to be able to escape from him without killing him first. To counter with the creatures attack she had Fluffy use Elastic Tongue, after the attacks clashed Fluffy would attempt to kill the frog by clawing it but that was if the arrow Lagi had shot missed or didn't kill the frog somehow. After the frog would be killed though the fanalis would quickly search the body that was there but then she would quickly move ahead to the exit and move on to the next area of the dungeon. Hopefully she would be able to move on since they had already spent a decent amount of time there.

Between the Holy Arrow and Fluffy’s claws, the frog would finally give a croak of defeat and slide off the side of the platform into the lava, leaving the corpse to be searched. In one of the man’s pockets, Merrze would find a pouch of coins. The path was now free to the portal, the Lava Beaks still paralyzed on the ground from Drago’s initial attack. Upon touching the portal, the pair would find themselves sucked into the Midway.

The pair would find themselves on a platform about 5 meters across which led to a bridge. The bridge itself was only 3 meters wide and 30 meters long. If either were to attempt to fly, they would find a noxious mist above their heads that would force them back to the ground. Likewise, if either tried to ride their beasts, they would find their heads in the mist due to the combined size of the beast and their own height.

If they were to begin making their way across the bridge, they would notice the sound of tumbling rocks. If they were to turn and look, they would find two innocent looking rocks. As they continued across the bridge, the sound would come again only to stop if they turned around. As they neared the end of the bridge, gravelly voices would appear behind them as Tam and Tem began bickering.

“Tam, I am telling you, the white-haired one would be extra delicious.”

“Tem, we can’t go eating everything that comes through.”

“You are right, Tam, then what would the Creepers eat.”

“Exactly, Tem, and you know how grumpy the Creepers get when they are hungry.”

“I know, Tam, I still remember when they tried to eat us”

“Indeed, Tem. So let the Creepers eat them. Maybe they will let us have a bite.”

The bickering of the two rotund stone constructs would cover the noise as four Lava Creepers slithered out from the rocks, blocking the exit to the bridge. Two Creepers used Scorching Puddle, spewing two puddles of lava across the end of the bridge to prevent the adventurers from progressing. Each of the Creepers were approximately 35 meters from Lagi and Merrze while being about 10 meters from each other.

“Say, Tam, why don’t we just eat the Creepers?”

“Because they taste horrible, Tem.”

“Oh, right.”

The two LavaToms would roll past Lagi and Merrze, completely unaffected by the puddles of lava. They came to a rest on the other side, content to watch and comment on the progress of the adventurers.

Eligos watched the progress of the pair, his head tilting to the side as he judged them. The pair seemed obsessed with trying to escape their fights only to use more energy in the long run. Was that truly the mark of a leader, to try and avoid blatant problems? On top of this, their communication was horrid. A King needed to choose their companions carefully. Perhaps their performance would improve as the dungeon continued.

As Merrze was teleported to the next room she thought about the last room, that was just the beginning of the dungeon and running away had been ineffective. These monsters were persistent like the challenges she faced in the real world, as of know the only way to get through was to fight her way through. If there were other options the fanalis would think about it more though, she needed to think about every possible outcome of her actions and try to come to the best conclusion. Of Course it was impossible but she would always try for it. She had wasted too much energy on the first room, she would try to conserve her energy. The fanalis also knew that the two of them would have to communicate together and it was partially her fault. If they had worked together better they would've killed the frog much faster.

She walked forward, with her pet beside her keeping his head kinda low, noticing the creatures and the puddles they had created which she walked tell they were 25m away to keep a safe distance. It would be best for them to destroy the puddles and try to use large scale attacks so as to hit them all at once. If they focused on each individual one they would most likely get attacked by the others and use up more energy. She used mostly hand to hand so she would have to let Lagi take the lead and be support. She would have Fluffy shoot a pellet at each one of the creatures. Things were getting interesting for her, she would try to do the best she could so she could get the Djinn. How would things go with these interesting monsters and the commentating rocks.

"Lagi I can't use too much energy in this room, I need to save some of it. I'll fight with you of course but I'm sure you understand. I'll be fighting to of course but I'll mainly try communicating with you so we can work together to take these things out. I know we can do this if we communicate and fight logically. Right now the best plan would to hit them with a large attack that would affect them all and not us. I'll be keeping my distance as so not to get in the way of your attacks."

She felt bad for having him do most of the work but as of know it seemed necessary, she would do her best to fight and make sure not to use too much of her energy, after all she had no idea how long it would take to get through this dungeon.

El drago and Lagi was also keeping their heads down to a certain degree, just so they wont be affected by the smoke to much. It was dangerous for lagi to b mounted, so he would have to walk over to the side of where the puddle was towards the end. He kept the majority of his feelings bottled up, only giving an indication that he heard what merrze said. " I guess we don't have any time to waste, we fight together el drago....." Lagi would say as he and el drago moved forward until they were up close the end, around 25 meters away from the puddle to tier break it. Lagi used snap shockwave in order to clear the way for the others to traverse the puddle, El drago would calculate his attack in unison with Lagi, firing off a lightning god blast. Since el drago's attack moved at 25 m/s, and the ones responsible were pretty close to where they constructed the lava, it would take less than no time for the attack to land in the area of the enemies, which would have exploded in a 25 meter diameter sphere, the spread itself would of also been 25 meters. The sphere with the potential to cover the whole side of the other area. This combo was indeed draining and unforgiving, but lagi wasn't the challenger anyway, so did it matter if he wasted his energy?

The Lava Creepers hissed when they saw Fluffy shooting the projectiles, causing them to skitter back 10 meters. Their speed made it simple to outrun the projectiles and putting 35 meters between themselves and the pair of adventurers. They did not seem bothered when Lagi’s Snap Shockwave destroyed the puddle of lava they had created, but when they sensed Drago’s attack, the two Creepers at risk of being hit by the Lightning God Blast simply used Lava Scales, allowing them to ignore the incoming damage. Once the attack had settled, the two other Creepers moved until they were within 7 meters of Merrze and each used Spew, hoping to deal damage to the girl and her beast. Meanwhile, the first two Creepers skittered closer to Lagi and Drago, both of them also using Spew to warn the man and his creature away.

“Tem, those Creepers are playing with their food.”

“I know, Tam, but maybe they will roast their dinner. And look at that big thing with wings, he could feed all four of the creepers, leaving that girl to us!”

“Tem, what about the guy?”

“Tam, he doesn’t look delicious. Leave him for the bats.”

“Can we adopt the girl’s pet, Tem? He’s rocky, like us!”

“Tam, the last pet you had, you starved.”

“Oh, right… fine…”

The two LavaToms were having fun, watching the fight. It had been dull recently in the Midway and this was the most excitement they were likely to see.

El drago snickered as those two lava creepers blocked the attack, they seem smarter than he originally thought them to be. However, he wasn't going to give in. El drago and lagi continued to traverse the bridge as el drago was in front, making a charge towards the two creepers at 25 m/s while using dragonic parry to swat away the two abilities at full force with both of his arms and taking it like a champ to quickly fizzle and disperse the aggressive assault, extending both of his claws to make a double claw swipe at 25 m/s with potential A rank damage to both of the opposing laval creatures in their way. Since they were 7 meters away, el drago's amazing speed and coverage with his arms and hands by swatting away the abilities with his hardened scales were enough. Lagi was in hi shadow and within the protection of his legend beast, so he would be safe from harm as well.

However, Lagi's focus was merrze, as he sustained snap shockwave and focused it of moreso towards the lava spews of merrze's attackers to tier break it, giving merrze an opening advantage to capitalize quick and take care of her opponents. He aimed moreso at the attack itself so merrze and her pet would not be in harms way.

The fanalis knew that it would be bright to try and take them out together so she would also attack to try and damage the creatures. Even though it would use her energy it would be better for them to overwhelm them, she wouldn't be able to attack much but at this distance they didn't really have to do much besides attack, she would slam her foot into the ground using Earthen Force, based on how the girl made this technique it would be able to hit all the enemies and avoid hurting Lagi or Fluffy as long as they stayed in one place. But he didn't do that, for some reason he chose to move forward when he could've hit them all. Hopefully it wouldn't hit him but anything was possible.

She was going to inform him before she used her attack but he just rushed ahead so at the point it was too late. She had told him that she planned to support him but they had communicate and work together. Just rushing ahead would get each other hurt. The fanalis felt frustration at his actions, did he even listen to a thing she said, she had to assert herself as the leader now, sure she had asked him but she was the one who controlled the team so she had to take control before he would end up getting himself killed or even her killed. The fanalis started to speak to the king with a powerful and commanding voice.

"You could've hit more of them if you didn't move, Lagi I will say it again we need to communicate before we do anything or one of us will get hurt. There's two of us remember, I may be acting as support right now but I am still the leader right now. I know you're experienced but trust me, right now teamwork is the key. You need to trust me, rushing in will only get you hurt, trust me I've learned this a couple of times."

Hopefully the fanalis had gotten her point across to the man, being impatient and try to rush would only hurt them. If they took their time and thought about it they could get through this dungeon better, they had to be fast of course but at the same time patient. To let of some steam she decided to chat with the talking rock creatures so to lower her stress levels and think more carefully.

Had Lagi remained near Merrze, he would have been more effective, however Drago’s Draconic Parry was sufficient to keep him safe. All four of the Creepers used Lava Scales, protecting the two nearest to Lagi from Drago’s claws and the two near Merrze from Lagi’s Snap Shockwave. Lagi’s movement forward and subsequent turning had made only Merrze’s Creepers vulnerable to his attack and it was ignored by the hardened scales. However, Merrze accounted well for Lagi’s lack of planning and used her Earthen Force. The force would travel to hit not only her Creepers, but also Lagi’s. However, if the man or his dragon attempted to block the attack to keep from getting hit, it would prevent the attack from traveling on to hit the two Creepers in front of him. He had moved forward and placed himself between the two Creepers and Merrze, leaving him in the awkward position of either taking her attack and allowing it to take out the two Creepers or keeping himself safe but still having to deal with the two Creepers in front of him.

If Lagi chose to block the attack, the two Creepers in front of him would spit lava balls at him in a basic attack.

Assuming Lagi allowed Merrze’s attack to go through, the bridge would be cleared and they would be free to approach Tam and Tem. The two stone constructs were simply rolling around in a small area, keeping an eye on the battle. When Merrze would approach them, they would stop rolling and stare at her with hungry eyes.

“Tam, our meal is here with some flint-licker.”

“I know, Tem, there is no accounting for taste.”

“Nice attempt at a pun, dinner. Maybe you wanna come back to our place for some molten dunking, you need some cooking... errr... relaxing!”

The two stone constructs would then tuck their bodies a bit and roll away at an incredible speed, inadvertently giving Lagi and Merrze an idea of where the lava puddles were to avoid. While the stone constructs rolled quite quickly, they also paused frequently to make sure their dinner was still following.

In the mist overhead, screeches and cries could be heard, but nothing would come down to strike them, just yet. They would be moving through the heat for several minutes before, about 25 meters in the distance, an imposing figure would be seen. The Lava Guard and his Hound were standing squarely in the path of the adventurers, unavoidable, unless the pair wanted to take to the skies and risk being damaged by the mist. The Guard and his Hound would simply wait for the pair to approach. If they came within 12 meters, he would wait for his Hound to move behind him before using Crush, otherwise he would simply await their approach. He was seemingly the final obstacle between the Midway and the Necropolis, though the portal would only be visible if the adventurers came within 10 meters of the Guard.

"I know Ok, i'm not much of a talker when we have monsters spewing attacks at us constantly. I figured that we could of handled it if we basically played off of our styles, and i guess its too soon  because we haven't really fought together like this before. Look merrze, i was only trying to protect you. Lagi would say with a pained expression as he used a healing potion to heal himself of b rank injuries that he sustained  from merrze's attack. It basically  made his arm sustain b rank damage as he grunted continuously and  reached in his satchel to get the potion, downing it all in one go. He also took out a regular rank stamina potion and drank it as he handed a stamina potion (B) to MErrze. Those health potions and this stamina potion, i made it all by myself. If i knew it was going to be this tough, i would of definitely made more. It isn't as strong as the ones in the market, but  it'll do its job, believe me. And... believe in me, ok?"

whenever merrze accepted it or not, he got up from his crouched position and continued on the path with the group. El dago took point with Lagi as they approached the guard, who sustained dragonic parry once more, knocking away the attacks  the dungeon hunters were in the shadow of the dragon, being shielded.  by the rocks as they were 12 meters away.  Lagi swerved around  after the onslaught in front to be 11 meters away  and sustained the last of his snap shockwave and he followed up with vertigo inducement a half a second after. Even if the guard was to protect himself, it would be able to kill the dog because it was an aoe. Even so Lagi was following up with another A rank attack, going all out awhile he was 1 meters away from the guard and his dog, and  meter away from merrze and el drago.
