Xun was broke and if she was of even slightly better morals she would have tried to work for the food she was currently taking for her dinner. As it was she was taking a few odds and ends while the stall owners were distracted. On the occasions she was caught she simply gave her signature "try me" stare and showing of her swords. Unsurprisingly they never said a word to her and quickly looked away. Unfortunately she knew they would tell the city guard as soon as she left thus making it impossible to return for more food later without getting caught.

Grabbing a bit more she quickly walked down an alley and onto a new street walking causally to keep as little attention on her as possible. After a few minutes she came across an alleyway and ducked in before peering around the corner just in time to see some of the city guard come through the same alley she had and begin to look around. With a quick curse under her breath Xun turns to head out through the other end of the alley just to realize it was a dead end.

Another curse words and she makes the decision to risk leaving the alley. She didn't get far before she could hear the guard chasing after her and demanding she stop. With a tilt of her head Xun's neck popped and she took off at a run hoping her speed could get her away from the trouble she was currently in.

Serenity walked quietly through the markets of Reim. She would have enjoyed her visit there of she were not in search of information pertaining a certain individual. The man she was tracking down had proved rather difficult to find, slipping from her grasps several times, but she was determined. The young Fanalis straightened her collar. To make the mission at hand easier, she had donned a city guard uniform. That way, people were more willing to talk as so not to be punished by a city official. After several minutes of walking, Serenity caught sight of a familiar red haired woman walking around the market. The people around her seemed fidgety but ignored whatever it was she did. Serenity frowned and walked closer to the woman. Why did she recognize this woman? No sooner had that thought crossed her mind did the Fanalis woman look her way. Immediate recognition filed Serenity's eyes. The bar! The woman seemed to disappear into the alley and the spy followed close. When the woman ran, so did she. As to why she was chasing after the Fanalis, she had no clue, but she was determined and would not let the woman escape her grasps.

Xun cursed as the guard was easily able to keep pace with her. The only thing that kept the distance between them was the fact that Xun had a slight head start, and even that wouldn't last for long. Clearly the guard had fanalis blood in her veins, even if Xun couldn't see their flaming red hair. Unfortunately for Xun she didn't know the city's layout all that well and managed to dash into an alley with a dead end, again. Turning around she tried to make it out before the guard caught up with her, and nearly succeeded, but at the last moment the guard was right outside the alley entrance.

One quick look around showed only a few doors as possible escapes. Due to the tight space of the alley Xun drew just her wakizashi as she made quickly for the first door just to find it was locked, before long she found the same was true for the other two doors. Cracking her neck Xun went to roughly the center of the alley in hopes of being able to dance past the guard, or more effectively trip them, and make a dash for it again. He chances were rather slim in getting away, but she would make her best effort to do so no matter the risk.
