The tavern had been most rowdy today in the thoughts of the young white haired man sitting in the corner. To his left sat an eastern man, matured by the looks of it, quietly sitting to himself with a bottle of sake. The choice of drink gave no surprise the the younger boy next to him, as sake was a popular choice of drink in the east, especially those from Kou. The older man took another drink of his alcoholic beverage and as he did so, the rattle of armor jingled quietly yet sharply up to Yushin's ears. "A soldier then huh?" He mused at the thought of it. A war had broken out he knew, and by the intelligence that he had received, tensions were still high.

Taking a drink out of his own beverage, Yushin turned his attention to a man babbling loudly in the open. He had wondered why the tavern had been so rowdy this particular afternoon, yet he never once really payed mind to the drunken man. Probably spouting drunken nonsense, he presumed, however, the more he listened intensely, the more his mood soured.

"I'm tellin yer boys!" He spouted once again. "A load of dogs they were!" The drunk man laughed and howled before downing his ale. "Kou? What Kou?! Cowards you mean! We fought them in droves! Scared them pissy to their panties!" The man howled once more.

Yushin couldn't bear to listen any further and merely shook his head. He gave an apologetic look towards the Kou soldier, and to his respect, Yushin noticed no signs of care in the soldier's face. The owner of the establishment however felt that this wasn't the case. "Please someone stop this fool! I'll even pay yah!" At the utterance of those last words, Yushin chuckled.

The white haired prince stood and turned once more towards the drunken old man. It wouldn't hurt to make a couple coins today. The thought was far from a greedy one, but the thought of being payed by removing the man was a nice bonus to what he already intended to do. Men such as this old man soured his day, so he had already planned to escort the man home.

"Sir," he began, "If it isn't terribly too difficult, might you please leave? I mean no offense but you are bothering the guests." The old man stopped and stomped his foot on a chair. He squinted at the younger man, almost as if he could barely comprehend his surroundings. "WHAT WAS THAT?! I ain't leavin yah stupid dung dung!" Yushin cocked an eyebrow at the attempted offense. Dung dung? The statement gave Yushin no indication that the drunkard meant to leave. With a sigh, he took hold of the man.

"Wha- whatcherdoin?!" Before the old man could say more, Yushin sprinted out the door, grasping the old man as he did so. They were now both outside. "What the hell?!"

"I'm sorry about this." With a [b]snap[b] of his leg, Yushin kicked the man in the head and caught him before he fell. "Or maybe not." The old drunkard was obviously unconscious, and to his generosity, Yushin called for a cart to take the man to the nearest inn. With his work done, the young man reentered the tavern to claim his reward.

THE NEXT DAY...

Once again, the rowdiness of the tavern set the environment ablaze. The creaky door that led to the tavern opened with a rough squeak and Yushin once more entered this particular establishment. The tavern itself wasn't exactly fancy, and the types of personas attracted to this place wasn't exactly pleasing as well. Yet, the young man found himself coming back time after time again in the afternoon to enjoy a drink or two in quiet and peace...or so he would presume.

Once again, an unusual and rare ruckus caught the attention of the Sangju man prompting him to dart his gaze towards the source. With a silent groan, Yushin internally slouched himself. Oh, he thought, Him again Cautiously, the fresh newcomer of the establishment made his way to the front of the tavern to sit on the counter. once again he was able to notice the Kou soldier to his left side, again sitting on the corner. His assessment of the situation, however, was not a good one. The last time, yesterday, the Kou soldier appeared to be unperturbed by the bumbling words of the drunken man, yet this time, "He's becoming fed up. Yushin's shoulders slumped as he sighed. "Well this is no good at all..."

The drunken man, apparently not drunk this time whatsoever, sent hostile words throughout the tavern, disrupting the usual quaint atmosphere of the place. "Hey hey hey! When I mean that those Kou dogs were cowards, I MEAN IT!!!" At this point the man hopped onto the nearest table and began to practically preach to the guests. "Oh look at me!!" The once drunk man began to imitate a scared and intimidated Kou soldier. "I'M a Kou dog! NO NO NO! I'm a Kou puppy! Thoese Reim soldiers have me pissing my pants!" The old man stomped, simililarly as he did the day before, on the table and howled in laughter.

The situation was becoming increasingly tense, as Yushin noticed the Kou soldier reach his limits on this insult. The Kou man stood up from his table, ready to, with intent to, kill this man. "Uh oh." The Sangju prince recognized the hostility that suffocated the room and immediately he stood up from his seat.

The bantering man noticed the Kou soldier in the corner at this moment and pointed at him. "HAH! Just like a Kou puppy! Can't handle it eh?! Yeah you just run along like your other little pals! OH WAIT!-" The old man paused as he jumped down from the table. The with a loud roar the man screamed, "I KILLED THEM ALL!" He began to smack his knee is hideous laughter and by now Yushin could notice the murderous intent in the Kou soldier's eyes.

The white haired youth eyed the owner of the tavern and with a nod, the two of them understood each other. He began to walk towards the loud man, a calm and gentle aura whisked him as he did so. Once again, he would give the man a polite request to leave before he started any trouble. Too bad the drunk man recognized him and didn't allow for formalities.

With a dirty pointed finger, the crazy man pointed his finger and yelled in anger, "You! You're that son of a-!" The man picked up his chair and brought his chair down hurtling towards Yushin's head at 20 m/s. Startled by the sudden reaction, Yushin ducked and made a U motion with his body to avoid the chair. The attack simply met the air, but without much more of a thought, the man charged the Kou soldier in a mindless psychotic tackle.

"Wait!" Yushin attempted to stop the man, but the man took his chair and began to spin four times, recklessly trying to hit anyone that got near him. The first swing took Yushin by surprise, and he stumbled for a brief moment. The Kou soldier also in turned dodged one of the swings, but he was caught in the last two and fell to the floor.

"Hah! Serves you right!" The man began to lift his chair again, but this time, Yushin used the cover of the chair to duck unto the man to sweep him with a kick. The man fell to the ground, losing the chair as he did so. Yushin took this time as an advantage to garb the man by the collar and throw him outside. No use putting others in danger.

The man stumbled, and now without he chair, he was left weaponless and defenseless against Yushin's geom. With a swift 15 m/s diagonal cut Yushin's blade met the man's chest successfully. The man cried out in pain but managed to hold himself. "Heh! Just a minor scratch! Is that the best you can do boy?!" Without much of a weapon left, the man held his fists up in a guard, facing his opponent with furious eyes. "Who-" The man swung, "Are-" the man swung again, "You-" again a swing, "To-" another blind swing, "STOP ME?!" The man gave one last wild swing at the last words. Yushin, nimble as he was, dodged the sluggish attacks with great ease. At the last words, he ducked to avoid the man's fist. Immediately following suit, he drew his hwando and cut the man once more in a cross with both weapons to end the struggle.

The man, much like earlier, fell to the ground, this time much more seriously injured than unconscious. Yushin still felt the necessity of catching the man, but he did not call a cart this time. "You must really hate the Kou," He mused to the unconscious man in pity and understanding, But dealing your issues with such heavy violence will lead you nowhere." He rested the man by the wall and sheathed his blades. "Now rest and reflect on your soul." With that, Yushin turned and entered the tavern again.

"Is it done?" The owner asked. Yushin smiled and helped the Kou man to his feet. He took his seat on the counter again and looked at the owner with gentle eyes. "For now, we should be rid of him." The owner looked back and understood. With a sigh he gestured for Yushin to remain there as he fetched the reward. "Really owe you another one kid. Take it." With gracious hands, Yushin bowed his head and took his reward.
