Stretching and stepping out on to his terrace, making sure he was fully clothed this time, Kris took one last look around him as he began to pack his supplies to make sure he had enough food and clothing to last him a portion of his journey. He also made sure to bundle up some Huang in case he needed to buy new clothes.
His target destination right now was the home of the Imachukk people to the north. He was not entirely sure why, but his superiors had told him to travel the world and learn about the people and different races and enviroments. Normally he would not mind, but this was the north. It was cold, and it was only going to get colder.
Shivering at the thought, Kris began his trek towards the eastern gates of Reim, in hopes that the guards would tell him that it was to dangerous out to travel right now. Then he could rearrange his plans and go to the south, where Heliophat was. That at least was a nice and warm country, granted the desert everywhere was a bit excessive.
Alas, Kris's dreams were crushed. The weather was not only perfect by the time he reached the gate, but the reports coming in from various fields and areas across Reim and the Western Front predicted a large amount of fair weather for the next couple weeks. Sighing internally, Kris walked out of the gate and headed towards the harbor. At least he would not need to suffer this misery on his way back home to Reim.
