Klara D-Rank Heliohapt Job: Lonely Orphans 2

After reporting to the university and receiving her commission, a woman dressed in a mixture of clothing and rags walked up to her. Her clothes were a mixture of clashing things almost as if she wore whatever she could get her hands on. This did not bother Klara as she was only able to escape such fate by living this uncertain lifestyle. However, truth was stranger than fiction.

The woman spoke with words of a sophisticated lady, a noble if you will, which surprised the red head a bit. After a brief introduction, it was DISCOVERED that the woman was the owner of an orphanage and she believed that money she could be spending on fancy clothes could be better spent on helping kids in need.

It was an impressive statement and made the woman a unique person... if not a treasure... for now. Nobles were always weird. When they said one thing, they often always meant something else. For now, it would not matter. Even liars did good for the world. This woman, for now, was no exception. So when the woman asked if she would talk with the poor orphans, Klara accepted. As an orphan herself, she did not mind offering what little she could bring. Though upon arriving, she could not help but feel a bit nervous. After all, she was not the wanderer.

She could not make up whimsical tales on the fly with vast amounts of truth and fact weaved into fake experiences. One thing she could do though was retell a story. So once all the kids got together, she stood up on a chair and started her tale.

'Once upon a time there was a boy who grew up without value. He did what he could to get by but it did not look like anything was going to change... that was until he met a young boy who could manipulate rukh. Together, they went off to tackle a dungeon.'

The girl took a deep breath before continuing.

'After entering the dungeon, the two ran into a girl who was a slave of this evil mean merchant. She was fighting a demon beast and being overwhelmed due to the chains on her feet. Behind the beast was another much larger slave man and the merchant. While the two boys could have left the girl to follow the merchant. They helped her, saving her life. Unfortunately the girl did not return the joy. She was ordered to kill them and she had to follow orders because she was a slave. The boys however were good of heart and convinced the girl to join them as the merchant was not going to win the dungeon. They were going to beat him there.'

The kids cheered for the merchant's defeat. Their eyes were glued onto the girl with zero signs of hardship or struggle, kind of like when the merchant told her tales on her travels. The story was not over yet though.

'Once the two boys and slave girl reached the merchant they were stopped by the massive other slave. He kept the slave girl at bay and also walked off the exit. The merchant sneered at the girl for betraying him. He had a chance. Her punishment would not be so bad if she apologized now. However the young boy challenged that. What's the point in living in a world without your value, without your respect. The slave growled at them, saying how he had no more reason for living. He was forced to do terrible things. He was forced to live through terrible things. However, they were young. They could still have hope. Then he slammed his foot into the ground and broke the earth dragging the merchant into the abyss. With that the two boys and now freed girl conquered the Dungeon and now use its power to make the world a more valuable place!'

The kids cheered. The story could be better but Klara was proud of what she told. The smile on the women's face was the receipt of the value the girl imparted on the kids!
