Klara stood at the front door for the university in her white cloak. Underneath was a black leotard and a red strap which wrapped around her right shoulder and body. Together with a choker and a belt like strap, the combination of outfits formed a dress. In her hand was a job notice. It did not seem to pay much but it was also for a school and those places don't get paid much right? It's what the wanderer said though she had never been to one till now.

Once let in, she had to sit down and do an interview. She was a little nervous but at the end of the day, they accepted her and gave her the job. It was quite simple. All she had to do was take notes on fauna and flora in the area around the city. Oh and she got this snazzy notebook!

So now the girl was off. She had so much she could study and jot down but the girl was not going to tell a good story by staring at a cactus. No, she needed something that would beat the lies of the wanderer. She had track down the alpha predator of the sands. She needed to find, a Sand Worm. Just thinking of about it sent chills down her spine. The girl entered the desert with the site of the city behind her. Places like this were dangerous if one ever got lost. There was no food, water, are helpful life.

However, the Sand Worm was a deadly creature. The girl looked into the surrounding barren desert and came to a simple conclusion. If one was here, it would have been hunted down. With a deep sigh the girl knew she had to go beyond the safety net of the city. So she started her trek. With the stories imparted by the wander, the girl tried to remember if anything the man said might help her. Despite his stories always being lies, the facts about how things worked were always spot on. The only thing she could come up with was that the worms lived in burrows hidden in the dunes and their arrival is always followed by a sandstorm.

This lead the girl to push forward. The site of the city was gone but she made sure to track the sun in order to keep some sort of clue on what direction she should head too. After all, its not her first time traveling in the desert. Suddenly there was a loud slam... like someone jumping into their bed but like ten times louder. The girl froze looking around. There were no signs of sandstorms nor worms. The Dunes while seemingly infinite remained still. The sun was still above her head. Was she hearing things? The girl took a step forward and the sand immediately swallowed her whole.

Klara reached around for something, no anything that would stop her descent but the sand around her acted more like water... if water was three times heavier. Eventually, the girl felt less sand under her. Then it was only air and darkness. A loud crash and a painful bottom let the girl know she hit something hard. The girl reached into her bag and pulled out a torch. Lighting it revealed what the girl could only call a nest. The space was extremely large... as she walked forward, she felt the ground get softer under her feet. This was until she kicked a bone.

While startled at first, the girl managed to keep her cool. The bones looked to belong to a monster like creature. Klara assumed it to be a demon beast. This was all a great find. She was sure that she found the nest of a Sand Worm. Quickly jotting everything down, the girl left no stone unturn. Excitement and discover was a short lived experience so she had to give it her all. A couple hours later, the girl managed to find the exit from the burrow. With a notebook full of information, the girl returned to the school and submitted her findings.
