Three challengers having gone through the jails of the dungeons hall, would be separated once more when they had made it through. Experiencing the similar feeling as they had once they had entered from the gate, except now there was also a sense of warmth, internal and external. Upon coming to their senses, they would each have a near identical experience in the Midway.
Looking forward, all they could see was the steep twenty meter drop into the sandy desert below, filled with rocky structures of all kinds, twice their size. In the grains below, they'd be able to catch sight of a rocky path heading forward with an enormous stone sculpture with a lit baton in its hands as a sort of lighthouse, beaconing them through the sea of sand. Behind each of them, they could see a barren, craggy waste as far as the eye can perceive. Rocks, rocks and more rocks, nothing of value, interest or guidance could be seen if they were to explore in that direction.
Now, it was up to them to make it to the 'lighthouse', but they would have to make it down this terrain by whatever means possible. If they were to search, they could find any number of ways down. Perhaps a treacherous path down that would take little time and some acrobatics to make it down safely, tools from previous adventurers with a little ingenuity, a safe path down that would take the longest amount of time, or something riskier.
