- Weapon Brought:
Name: Blade of the Jade Dragon
Tier: D
Type: Sword/hilt (broken)
Material:
blade:Made of an organic black steel inlaid with gold that is said to only be found in the dark country
Hilt:made of triple folded black steel and technically the strongest part of the blade
Appearance: The Jade dragon Sword is an extravagant looking weapon that is more hilt than blade, the black steel hilt notably being longer than the blade at 38 cm in length by 10 cm wide and is painted jade green with a serpentine like raised grip texture. Two red ruby shards crests the end of the hilt which is molded into a fearsome dragon head with the ruby as its featured eyes.
The Hilt is very dynamic and features multiple different grip options to master as well as a loop to easily spin the weapon on ones finger.note that the hilt is stronger than the blade, features a hand guard and can parry weapons just as effectively as the blade itself
the remaining blade portion is at 35 cm long by 10 cm wide black steel inlaid with gold and sharpened to a lopsided point so that it is both able to stab and slash.
Tak kept his eyes firmly closed and his breath steady, mapping and remapping the perilous journey that lasted approximately 15 yards (13 meters) a swiveling wooden training dummy to meet him at each 5 yard mark, ending with a easily cut straw dummy at the finish line. The eccentric Fanalis was molding his perceived route into memory, visualizing each spin and movement up until his last step like a painting coming to life before his mind's eye.On went the black bandana turning his vision pitch black,Master Hayabusa always taught him to feel with his weakest senses. The young warrior smirked slightly thinking of the time he retorted with:
”but i have no weak senses Sifu”
While Hayabusa’s heart was in the right place, the old man tended to be fairly harsh in his training methods and punishments.Tak could still feel the sharp rap of the long bamboo cane the Sword master used to prove his point. Its the reason he now tied one of his strongest senses behind his back.Satisfied with the chosen approach,Takumi dropped back into a sinking stance that favored launching power from his left leg,he slowly and deliberately reached for the hilt of his sword and unsheathed it with an explosive flourish, spinning it above his head then twirling it out to the side before bringing it back at the ready in his initial stance slowly gathering his Qi to the shattered blades point.
“One,two,three”
Tak counted in his head and blurred into motion on three, covering the first five yards with his fanalis speed in a little over half a second.Once within striking distance Tak would skid to slow down kicking up some dust as he shifted gracefully fienting a forward stab and instead pivot stepped to the outside left of the dummy’s centerline, easily taking advantage of his new angle of approach by flipping his weapon to a forehand grip while simultaneously slashing across where their mock adversaries ribs would be.Big Dipper was executed cleanly, and a metallic “shing” was heard as the jade crested sword bit across the dummy's wooden flesh.
“One down”
The fanalis took note of his remaining enemies as he acrobatically barrel rolled out of the way of the dummy swinging back at him with the same kinetic force he used ,the fanalis flipped up onto his hands and back onto his feet already sensing he was within three steps striking distance of his second adversary.
Attempting the big dipper once more but with the left hand Tak found this slightly more difficult, ending a hair off from where he was meant to be.The wooden dummy swiveled back and made the fanalis pay dearly for his infraction.A crack and a thump was heard as Tak was hit square in the stomach by a wooden peg and thrown a good five yards back.
The young warrior only lay on the ground catching his breath a bit before untying his bandana, letting the late afternoon light filter into his amber eyes and wiping the sweat from his brow
After a few moments Tak flipped up onto his feet easily and trudged toward a small stream located a few paces away, the water was cool and flowing with the ancient mountains powerful Qi and he doused his face and neck sighing in relief before rejoining the training space.
Once again the fanalis blindfolded himself and fell into a gong fu bow stance and imagined his Qi energy concentrated at the swords tip.He made it through the first 5 yards performing the big dipper form flawlessly once more.finishing his flip put the fanalis within range to strike the second dummy with big dipper more efficiently, thus causing his body movements to recover quicker, allowing him enough space to shift the left foot to step back.
Tak turned his body to the left slightly creating a narrow target while swinging their sword upwards counter clockwise to the left across their body successfully parrying the swiveling dummy's counterattack with Serpents Reprieve. Now moving on to the last dummy made of straw was easy as Takumi simply lopped off its head with his bare hands.skidding to a halt the young mans breathing steadied and he took off the bandana in order to witness his carnage with a satisfied smirk.
"Well I'd say this all earns me a drink from the red fox"
