His distinct kimono style wavering in the light breeze, Trently would step forward into the religious grounds of the Morihana. It was still bright out and sunny, with the sun beaming down but it did not seem as bad as earlier. Trently would roll into the temple grounds with his two trusted members of his party, and look around. He would find others waiting around and others being tested by clan priests capable of combat and decent magic. It paled in comparison to what even Guaiwu was capable of though now, now that he too wields magic. Trently looked at the burly man, with raised eyebrows, before staring back at the acolytes in garbs which clearly denoted them as mages. A smile formed on Trently's face, while he clutched his sheathed katana and rested it against his shoulder. Guaiwu by his friend's side, he smiled along with him as their subordinate looked on a bit surprised upon seeing priests with magic. Some others were being given tours by the priests, being escorted around the area and building. Trently would call out to one of the priests who would find Trently and his men having made it out the great maze. He would meet and shake hands with the priest seemingly expecting young Trently.
Trently: "This is Morihana grounds, yes? Nice to meet you."
Acolyte: "It is! Welcome. We had got news of a small company of men that arrived. I see you brought just yourself and two other men. Your other men are where?"
Trently: "Nearby, but I am here to prove my worth as their leader. I am here as a trader and warrior here to establish trade and enjoy the country."
Acolyte: "Ah, I see. I will guide you around the main temple grounds. If you can best me in a fight once the tour is finished, I will be delighted to guide you to the interim head as the daimyo is visiting other temples in the present time."
Trently: "Alright, well let us see your temple grounds now."
Said the young man, who would walk right past a pair of beaten warriors whom wished to prove their worth to the Morihana priests. Trently would climb up steps of Morihana's building and appreciate what fine architecture it had. It was no doubt about it, this was Kina. It was a beautiful land, rich with fine scenery, food, and more, but strife with ongoing conflict from decades of battles and a collapse of any one lead power and authority to dictate the rules. Nor was there a balance of powers however. Yet, Trently would not learn the intensity of the internal conflict Kina was having until some time later. For now anyways, Trently's main aim was to establish trade and benefit from his one chance of being first in trading with a newly open land.
Acolyte: "This is our statue of a late daimyo, and over here is a statue of a mythical kami."
Trently: "What is a kami?"
Acolyte: "They are deities, beings of magic and divinity."
Trently: "Hm.. Okay."
Said the young wielder of a divine being himself, eyeing his katana where Furcas the deity of metal rested, awaiting Trently to call out to him for power. Trently would continue on walking all around with his designated priest, and seeing Morihana's beautiful architecture and items of religious importance. Guaiwu found it all very interesting, as did the third party member with them for the tour. Trently's garbs would find the priest intrigued however, and it would beckon a question from the priest on Trently's heritage. Foreign born Kina people were rare to come by. It was only a very tiny fraction of Kinan people who were born and raised elsewhere, and not Kina. Trently was distinct from many Kou and Kinan people for his mixed eastern ancestry, and the blend of cultures. It was quite an experience thus far for Trently here in Kina, with more in store.
Acolyte: "Are you perhaps from Kina? Your garbs are quite similar to ours."
Trently: "I am a Kou born and raised half Kounan and half Kinan."
Acolyte: "Interesting, what is your full name?"
Trently: "Torento Yanaihara!"
Acolyte: "Hm.. a Yanaihara, interesting. Alright, well let us begin your fight."
Trently: "Yes, a good fight could be fun right about now."
Acolyte: "It is known that the Yanaihara love a nice fight!"
Trently: "Oh, is that so!?"
Said young Trently as he would grasp the back of his kimono and throw it off his chiseled body. He would grin, as the metal arm of his was displayed in the bright daylight. It was exciting to be able to fight after a while. His blue hair wavered in the light breeze. Trently would be set for a duel the very moment he found his foot in a small arena right outside the Morihana building. Guaiwu sat right outside the small arena and would munch on a rice ball with the other man who Trently brought. It would begin within seconds, and as soon as the fight began, the priest would aim an attack right in Trently's range that would try to detonate and deal damage to him with a burst of high pressure water. Trently would see the water begin to form and explode and would step violently on the ground, and propel himself forward in one step at his opponent in less than a mere second. His leg muscles enlarging and flexing, Trently sprung forward quickly.
Trently: "Hooora!"
Roared the young horned man, as he would wail on the priest but not before the priest was able to cast a shield of water around him for protection. However, it would not last very long as the strength of Trently's metal arm would begin to break the form of the water shield. Trently would wail on the shielding dome of water with his arms and strike at it four times in a quick consecutive row. Trently began to generate electricity in his horn with each strike. In his horn he would be now storing a C-Tier worth of electricity that he would now let out in one final strike with his metal arm. By the ability of his horn, he would begin to rapidly surge electricity into his metal arm. Trently would yell out from his stomach and unleash his punch upon his opponent. He would shock the water dome and punch through it, striking the priest with a lightning metal fist in the stomach worth C-Tier damage. He fell to his knees, while raising his hand that the battle was done. Trently reeled back his metal arm, which by now had stopped surging with electricity. He would pat the priest on the shoulder and thank him for the short but fun match.
Trently: "So about the clan? Can I talk to your leader now?"
Other Acolytes: "Did you see that!? That was quick. What is that man? Look at his horn."
