Job Overview: To join Kogata, Kina's infamous shinobi clan, one must prove useful. They assign you a job pursuing and capturing a rival shinobi who has just been found eavesdropping on the Kogata but escaped. The shinobi is injured, leaving drops of blood for you to follow to him. If you can defeat and capture the shinobi, they will recognize you as someone capable of working with them.

After lending her aid to both Kazeharu and the Toh that were some of the clans who allied themselves with the Morihana, Noir thought that she only had to visit the Kogata left. The reason why she was so eager to look at each of the clans was originally to quench her thirst to get new knowledge and to satiate her curiosity regarding the clan's specialty. However she learned a lot of some of those clans by now, while the Toh was a very humble clan, the Kazeharu was a creative clan with their magic tools invention and those two got her attention, being put as the priority on her visit list. The last one would be the Kogata, the clan rumored to be a very knowledgeable one, with all sorts of information gathered inside the clan. The black haired girl had a mixed feeling, as much as she loved knowledge, she wondered what kind of help she could offer for that clan itself, her knowledge wouldn't even be enough as a down payment due to the amount of knowledge that Kogata had. She didn't find an answer to what kind of help she could offer, but she decided to just go for it and visit the clan, hoping she could still try and learn about the clan more.

At the beginning, it was just a simple meeting, a simple introduction about the clan itself, but it seemed that something happened in the middle of meeting as someone hurriedly entering the meeting room to speak to the officials. However the clansman would give a calm nod before smiling to the magician, asking if she could give them a hand to chase someone in exchange of a mutual trust. It was a little bit surprising though, although not so much. Noir wondered why the Kogata would task the helping foreigner to chase after this rival shinobi who got caught eavesdropping around the clan's manor, did they intend to see if the foreigner could prove themselves to be trustworthy enough? Since trust would be the most important thing within this clan whose power was their information bank. However wouldn't it be easier to chase the shinobi by themselves? Oh well, the magician thought that she wouldn't refuse the task given to her anyways. Just a simple chase, catch the shinobi and bring him to the Kogata alive.

Since they said that shinobi was injured, Noir thought that the target wouldn't be that far. It was too bad that Haku was not with her as well at the moment although his natural tracking skill would definitely help in the chase, but the golden eyed girl was sure she could chase the prey just find. By using her exceptional speed trait, it didn't take long to closing the gap between her and the fleeing shinobi. The magician would cast her Neve Silenziosa spell, managed to slowing the target movements as the snowfall she produced touch the prey. She would cast another spell, produced a static energy to deal a non lethal damage towards the shinobi, although it would be enough to knock him out so she could bring him back to the Kogata's manor without any problem by using her gravity magic.
