To The Toh [Plot/Job/Event/Solo]

Ever since Morihana severed the alliance from both Shikizui and Hinamoto, and allying themselves to the other clans, Noir had been curious about the decision. It didn’t really bother her when Morihana allied themselves with the Hinamoto, considering that clan was the one that was holding the Shogun title. However, it seemed that Morihana had seen that it would be safer to ally themselves with the other clan, especially when the other clans had a lot of foreigners supporting the clan, perhaps even more than what Morihana had at the moment.

The magician heard a lot of things about the clans though, first she tried to see more by her own eyes, finding out about Kazeharu and offered them her help after that. Now… perhaps it was worth it to find out more about the Toh’s clan, especially the news about their recent prosperity. Not that she was attracted to the prosperity itself, but she wondered why people talked a lot about that and it piqued up her curiosity, so she decided to see if it was true or not.

It was amazing that the moment Noir entered the Toh’s area, the smell of sulfur began to linger around her. She wondered if perhaps there were several hot springs nearby, although when she looked up to the sky, she could see steam, possibly from the hot spring, shooting up to the sky. That alone already made the magician excited, such a simple but interesting thing. Perhaps it was those hot springs that were the source of the clan’s new prosperity, but who knew.

Noir would walk more towards the stone paths, passing several hotsprings before finally arriving at the Toh’s manor and talked to the guard about her intention. Well, other than wanting to see the truth and satisfy her own curiosity about the clan’s rumor, she also had another goal. She thought that since they were in this big alliance with each other, then it was just natural for her to offer her help to the other clan as well, just like what she did for the Kazeharu. Other than that, she was also curious about the clan’s history, so by having a little bit of direct connection towards the clan would help her to gain new knowledge...perhaps…

One of the officials would kindly give Noir a little bit of his time, asking her to follow him into a meeting room with rather grand decorations… gold plated decorations everywhere… But it would be rude to look around, so the magician would quickly take a seat in front of the official. She would introduce herself first before revealing her intention to visit the Toh clan’s manor, “As the clan I’ve put my pledge with is allied to several other clans, including the Toh Clan. I would like to offer you some of my power, however you need it although perhaps it might not be too much.” Noir would put her hand in the middle of her chest, showing her sincerity although her stoic expression made it a little bit difficult to show it. “In the other words, I would pledge my allegiance to the Toh clan as well.”

The official would give a small laugh, and seemed amused that Noir was so serious about it. But he was worried since the girl would immediately give him this surprised look and he would explain that most of the people in the clan were pretty laid back before offering his apology for confusing her. “I understand, young miss. I shall deliver the words to my superior. In the meantime, do you want to go back directly or… can I show you around our family manor if you’d like?” Noir would respond with a nod, seemingly very interested to be escorted around the manor. In the end, she was really enjoying the little tour given by the Toh clan.
