Job!!!:

The elder of shadows was sighing as he sat in his usual tavern. He liked to use taverms to hear about possible jobs since all types lurked in taverns. He was an assassin but he didnt have a name for himself yet so he didnt have clients looking for him which meant he had to look for clients himself. Ome way to do this was of course your the wanted boards in taverns and inns. These were for people neeeding all kinds of jobs and in the shadier drinking holes that meant shadier jobs. A lot of these jobs consited of small time assassinarion contracts but it helped him make money and get his name out there a bit. He was checking the the board amd found a message from some trader it seemed like. This man had someone who refused to pay for goods he claimed were inferior So the trader wanted someone to get the money back and make am example out of the man, Beatnick, while they were out of it. Silva smirks a bit eager to have a taste of blood once again. He wasnt some serial killer who killed at random ans only craved bloodshed. His taste for bloodshed was a bit more refined. Why kill dozens for no reason when he can still get enjoyment of snuffing out lights while getting paid. Also it sounded like this man was going to pur up a fight which was even better. He enjoyed seeing strong men flail about.

A few hours later he was scoping out the home of Beatnick. He couldn't really find out much about who the man was and didnt really care about that at the moment. This was nkt a big enough job to go into that much detail. All he really needed to know was when and where was the best time to kill his target. He Also needed to know where Beatnick kept the money he has and if he would have enough on him or if Silva would have to go to his home for it. He would spend the next 2 days observing amd stalking Beatnick from the shadows. He was an old man which normally would go unnoticed by most but as an extra precaution Silva would hide and watch from a distance which was the best option. He had learned where the man worked at and what path he took everyday and even the place he hides his money. See This man didnt trust most so he of course his his stash away from others in a alley between two abandoned buildings. This is where silva would attack.

The assassin decided he would go up and confront Beatnick head-on. This was the type that was fun to deal with in a full on bout instead of from the shadows. He would bulk up increasing his muscle mass before charging at the man making himself known. Beatnick had just enough time to guard with his hammer from a punch of the elderly man's large fist. The man would grimace knowing he was sent by that trader. He would will as he swings his huge hammber that the old man. He would use his borg to absorb some of the swing but still get hit by the hammer. He stumbles back feeling a rib crack and grin. He charges in at great speeds returning a chest blow of his own with his fist causing the man to crumple to the ground dead. S

Silva would smile as he defeated the stubborn brute of a man. It was a bit harder than he had expected, maybe he shouldn't keep doing this obvious method of fighting face to face. It wansnt really the usual style for assassins who are supposed to attack in the safety of shadows. However the old man has always had a flair for wanting to be a bit flashy and show off. It also didnt help that he happened to have a large body at will that was basically only useful for punching people up close. He was proud of his body and took every chance he had to show it off. However this was a bit of a wakeup call for him. He could still assassinate people in a flashy manner but he should start only using his true form as a last resort to take people by surprise and take advantage of thier shock. He would turn the body over which had fallen onto an old pile of wood logs someone had seemed to place there quite some time ago. Hidden in the middle of the stacks was am empty space that held a large bag that happen to contain a tidy sum of money. The onld man was slightly tempted to take the money but he had his honor as an assassin to return it. He wpuld only do what he was told. However if that man had something magical or interesting that didnt pertain to the job he would have of course taken the loot. He would sigh as the assassination job was basically over as he picked up the bag of coinage. He would take his time walking back to the merchant who had hired the assassin in the first place. Hopefully This job would help him by getting him a start in the game of assassination in this seaport country. He wouldnt know till much later probably tho after he starts putting groundwork for spreading his name. Silva had believed if he could spread his name as an assassin and also increase his fame while he was at it than he would start getting bigger and more important jobs. He would just need to figure out where to get his start at maybe here or naybe even in that country of magicians he had heard about. Well that was neither hear nor there at the moment as he would return to the merchant to hand him the back of couns amd excpet his much smaller bag of coins.
