Graduate Class [Sabin/ D to C Assassin/ Solo]

After finishing the main training and detaining the thief, a few days passed before Sabin's masters finally showed up.  In a way, they were observing all along, even using their famous disguises to hide amongst the traveling merchant group. Sabin had no real idea that they were among them and witnessed the whole thing, but this was all some sort of test.

"Sabin, come...."

Sabin was summoned to the main chamber to explain how things went. In a way, Sabin was furious that he couldn't tell and that he may have been fooled the entire time. However, it only served as another lesson for him. Sometimes, bounties don't always have a straightforward solution to them. The act of infiltration is something to take into account for some bounties, you wouldn't be able to finish most jobs if it becomes exceedingly difficult to reach your target. There are other ways, that's what this current situation taught him.

"You called?"

Taking a seat after being gestured to do so, the main instructor took out a small notepad and wrote down a few things before placing it back on the table. "You've done well, as expected from one of the top students. In addition to that, you also managed to subdue Vanessa without harming her and put her in an uncomfortable situation as to where she was willing to talk. That and you had no need to utilize any of the torture techniques we taught you."

There was no need for a brash approach in Sabin's methods, he figured the time was enough.

"We will be moving you up to the graduate class. There, we will be teaching you the advanced techniques of espionage and infiltration. Your marksmanship is the gold standard, something id expect from a ranger prospect. However, without your bow and your magic tools, you are but a man. Even given a sword or a  short blade as your only source of defense, you would be bested. Therefore, we shall shape you into a formidable force that has less weakness than one might expect."

Sabin was rather excited, finally being taught some practical physical combat.

"I will not disappoint you.

Days go by and the training is intense and grueling. Due to Sabin being in a graduate class, they focused more on live training without taking the bounty hunter graduates on jointed bounties.  They used them more as a training exercise,  which also meant that the consequences of failure were also high. Surprisingly, Sabin excelled in it, working more on the correct form of movement to reclaim stolen goods for the client without getting caught by the thieves. He also worked really well on hiding in plain sight and maneuvering around a blade.  Many can see that Sabin was improving at a fast rate, so much so that even the unity corps wanted to scout him once more for the sake of service to the country he grew up in.

However, Sabin's destiny lies elsewhere, or so he believed to be the case.
