Both Noir and Haku stayed still, waiting for Shousui to perform another trick of her. She tapped her staff to the ground again to cover the entire ground with roots and shrubbery, lifting herself up as she proceeded to cover the entire area. The younger magician was careful, she gripped her staff as tight as she can, ready to chant any spell that came to mind just in case the mad woman had this slight intention to harm both her and her beast. However, when Shousui said that magic wouldnt have any effect there, Noir raised an eyebrow, wondering she spit the truth. Shousui's magic made the greenery grew more and formed sharp thorns and snares, blocking the are and leaving only a narrow path as if she wanted to lead the black haired magician to take the only path available at the moment. If she tried to make a way with magic... maybe it would be a waste if it didnt work or even with Haku's fire, it might be a waste of his stamina as well.

Yet, Noir doubted the narrow path that Shousui left for her to explore, she wondered if she should be naive and take the risk...or burn some magoi to test her magic out... It was a labyrinth game that the former noblewoman wanted to play with her so there must be some trick inside that required crucial decision making that she needed to do in an instant. There was another option available though but she was not sure if she wanted to do it because it will make the game to less interesting although at the same side, she wanted to see Shousui's expression if she really did it. The magician let a sigh escaped from her lips before she caressed her flying carpet, thinking to use it. But instead of using the carpet, the golden eyed girl poured magoi into her Ring of Mauna Loa to create a lava pool, intending to burn the thorns. Should she really fail to perform lava magic from the ring because of what Shousui had said before about how magic wouldnt have any effect here, Noir would wait for a bit before making another decision.

Merrze would stare back into the mans feral eyes. Of course the fanalis had the rare chance to come across someone who wanted to claim her. Shes been kidnapped multiple times, been hit on by a pervy king, and had slaver chase after her all her life. Now another psychopathic murderer had his eyes on her. His gaze looming, the maniac was making a statement but the lioness would also make her own statement . She was not going to let someone try to make her death some sort of trophy. With empowering stride she moved while staring with a fiery passion. She was walking hurricane, dancing around like a leaf in a gale wind. With fluidity she hopped from one victim from another trying to disrupt the forces. She was mowing down all in her troops way. They were going to push past.

See if they were going to get collapsed on she was going to make her troops burst out. She would have them get a firm defense and then push outward with great force. She herself was making sure that they gained the momentum by hoping around clearing waves off enemies. She would strike the earth to turn it up. To make the enemy cavalry lose their footing. By destroying the sole footing she would be able to disrupt the enemy forces. If her troops were able to get their foothold and push she would have her forces spread and start herding and surround the treacherous Gao army while the main force continued to pierce through. If Their force would simply have to just keep up the steady movement. Either way they were making ground, they just needed to make it to mysterious and wild foes. She couldn't let herself stray or it may cause disarray. With a resounding cry they would continue moving.

It wouldn't be long until they would be close enough to begin the real fight. Even if they made this much ground the enemy leaders most likely have the strength to deal with this much. But if they were all able to move along with the guidance of the white-haired warrior and the Kou Lieutenant. With slash after slash the white haired storm would tear up the earth that surrounded it and cut up the flesh of the foes before it. She needed to make herself a bigger target, so that they would bring themselves to her. She was confident but humble, she knew that these servants of Gao had unknown power but the she need to have that confidence. If the warrior was going to do her best she needed to expect the worst case and try to overcome it. This would be her chance to put all that training in action. She had no idea if she would be able to pull anything off in this large scale of a battle. In the end she would have to make sure she had too. Every battle needed to be fought like it was the most important, and with these forces, it was possibly a battle that would drastically effect the tides of war.

The fake-fires worked like a charm, distracting a great deal of the enemy soldiers' camp. However, as usual, another problem presented itself shortly; two ominous crates, one of which was being transported in the direction of the fortress Zadi left Liqin in charge. The other crate, not being transported, seemed to have already been opened yet forced closed by chains, I had a feeling the enemy magicians wasn't as powerful as I once thought...for better or for worse... Zadi gained a troublesome feeling whatever was sealed inside the crates was actually responsible for the artillery earlier. The blonde warrior could only imagine the horrors caused by a direct assault from such powerful, long range artillery. However, this explosive feeling sparked a skill-related memory within Zadi's problem-addled mind; I almost forgot...I've got my own long range explosives!

Zadi's sustained his Hidden Katydid technique and got only as close as he needed to the crate being transported, notched a Blasting Ant arrow, and fired! The target would be the crate being transported; if the bomb-tipped arrow hit, the contents of the crate would at least be exposed with hope on more happening in Zadi's favor. Anyway, Zadi notched a second Blasting Ant arrow, got only as close as he needed to the chained crate, and fired again! Hopefully the results would favor Zadi as he tried to stay hidden, but if worse comes to worse Zadi could improvise, as usual. This has definitely been worth dirtying my clothes.

The witch dared defy the good lady’s orders..what folly. Lady Shousui merely smirked and let the witch carry on her game, trying to melt the area around her for easier passage. Lady Shousui only sighed and flicked her wrist, dousing the area Noir resided in with a deluge of water, attempting to fill the earth and cool the area around her.

“Clever, yes. But you know the rules, girl!” The Lady Shousui shouted, removing the woman’s magic from play. “Remember, I told you! There will be NO MAGIC. Honor the rules or I will make sure you have a much harder go of it, woman. Now, because you’ve been so naughty, it’s time for a little punishment…”

Lady Shousui clasped her hand with her staff and created golems from the earth with her limitless pool of magoi. Three large leafy structures rose up around Noir, the forest wall now spread out in a circle, as if to simulate the appearance of an arena.

“Fight these creatures girl! And be warned--they will not be so quick to fall prey to your tricks. I suppose, in this case, I will let you use magic, but nothing too out of hand! Destroy my labyrinth and I’ll send you into a hellish abyss so dangerous you’d plead for death!” The good lady merely cackled before leaving Noir to deal with the life magic constructs.

Tactics were sometimes hard to fully execute amidst the chaos, especially with some forces who have never worked together. until it this assault on Gao, and this was obvious from the execution of Merrze's plan. They were able to push back the attacking line a bit with their defensive and breaking strategy. However, it was a bit messy and their troops would push forward a bit awkwardly and they were injured in the ensuing pandemonium and swaying waves of each sides forces. Soon enough like a tide, their ill-executed plan began to work better as Bhaozhai and her raptor began to tear through the enemies along with their troops. They were able to push forward quite a bit, and soon enough the commanders would begin to send their force forward more to engage with the lioness and the lieutenant. The man who planned to chain the lioness pulled back a bit to clean, and sharp his chain while the lioness would begin to push forward towards them. Though they still had to deal with the well-trained main defense force. They seemed to be a bit stronger than the average soldier, though the extent of their strength would have to be known through only combat.

As they collided with the main command force and the rest of the forces did the best they could to try and widdle down the surging waves of Gao troops. The sounds of blades hitting against shields, other weapons, armor, and eventually the tearing of flesh began to fill the ears of all who fought. This melody of violence was soon joined with a spontaneous chorus coming from the allies of the fanalis. For some reason, or another they had begun to let out loud war cries as they shed blood, and had their blood shed. It was a fairly even battle, and in the back, it could be seen that the commanders had begun to position themselves and move some of the back parts of their forces, "what could they be doing?" wondered Bhaozaid as her raptor chomped down on an unlucky lancer his helmet and skull crushed by the voracious reptile. It was at least evident that the two women had planned to engage them soon enough, but the plans of the creep who wanted to hunt down Merrze was a bit unsure still. Though there was little time to think about what could happen when they had to deal with the threats in front of them.

For the most part, most of the enemy forces had been trying to steer a bit clear from the lioness, either in fear that she or their own general would kill them before they would be able to do anything useful. However Bhaozhai and the troops kept being pushed against by more waves, it seemed like there were more enemies than there was when they began their charge. It could be seen after a few minutes that Gao's forces had been reinforced by a small regiment of militia without any solid commander, or imposing figures. However, someone appeared that didn't care about their commander and had been waiting for the perfect time since the reinforcements came. Soon an archer Valiantly leaped over his allies before firing a basic shot towards the fanalis.

Attacking Enemy:

Commander Xu flinched backward when the scythe was swung at him, his body tensing in preparation for the sting of the blow. However, it never came and instead he felt the sensation of his leg being enveloped in warming light. The magic of Lagi’s tool worked to restore his leg, the pierced muscles pulling back together whilst the blood stopped flowing from the wound. It was a quick fix, one that managed to restore some of the feeling to Commander Xu’s leg. Unfortunately, magic could only do so much in such a situation. It’s true that now the soldier could walk without total reliance upon his walking stick because of Lagi’s efforts, his leg was still in a state where it forced him to move with a limp.

The commander’s hand brushed past the beginning of the knee, feeling the sore skin that still ached faintly. His weary gaze fell upon Lagi, his head nodding in thanks as he straightened himself. With a turn, Commander Xu directed his attention to his troops, mouth opening to give them a clear order when the air seemed to shake. It rumbled with the roar of a beast, one that sounded far from pleased. The earth beneath their feet trembled, resonating with the footsteps of a leviathan.

In their distraction, a group of enemies had rushed forwards. The head of the charge, a man wielding a large bow, had unsuccessfully attacked Orie. He watched with disdain as the creature seemingly vanished, his eyes narrowed with suspicion. At once, Lagi began to cut up the jungle floors with his magic weapon, causing the undergrowth to become bigger. The captain recognized the beginning of an attack and promptly called for a nearby troop. In a callous move, he grabbed the other man, throwing him in front of himself so he would take the brunt of the attack. However cruel the action was, the captain succeeded in saving his own life.
The rest of the attacking forces glanced warily at their leader but continued with their attack upon Xu’s forces. Another roar of anger shook their portion of the ravine, the earth once again trembling beneath them. A distant explosion set off in where the haunting roars originated from, serving only to further agitate whatever beast was creating the noises. The captain shouted to his men, reminding them to remember their mission before drawing his bow once more. He ducked behind the pillars of wood, the soldier held in place due to his unfortunate situation of being impaled. Notching an arrow onto his bow, the man planned to use a powerful ability he referred to as Ubume’s Dart. The heads of his arrows were coated in a dangerous poison known to cause blurry vision and nausea. Straightening back up, he fired off a series of three arrows at Lagi. There was a pause between arrows, and all three targeted a vital point on the Beast-Tamer’s body. They flew straight and true, traveling at A-tier speeds.

The second part of Zadi's plan would work smoothly, except that each of the different crates had two different things inside of them. Inside the crate that was being transported towards the fortress had contained some sort of battering ram, but it obviously had something off about it. The people transporting it would set up a defensive perimeter before soon enough they began to try and see if there was still a way for them to transport the battering ram to where they had been commanded.  In the other crate was something more peculiar, pieces to something, a machine, or the like from the pieces of metal that seemed yet to be assembled int into its proper shape. All the while the chaos brought about by the smoke had still been having effects on the camp. For the most part, the troops had a better grip on the situation and some areas were better defended, but there was still obviously a few holes in the camp's surveillance and would give opportunities for Zadi to try and slip in, or even try to execute more plans to affect the camp in other ways, Though the only fact was the longer Zadi was here, the more the threat of the other commanders and the siege that was going back on at his fortress.

Since Enlai had been given word by one of his own personal men that the crate outside had been blown open he had sent a command to the people that answered only to him to handle taking care of that. Before Zadi would be able to make his next move people had moved the parts, and the broken crate seeming to transport it away, was it still in the camp, it would be hard to tell as they had begun to weave through the tents trying to ensure that they would lose vision of anyone that might be spying on them. Though while the other crate had seemingly disappeared the other crate had less luck since the arrow had done more damage, especially to their transport.

As they tried their best they were trying to set up a more direct pully system with their mounts, but it would take some time to rig the set-up and would be slower to maneuver and pull through the disaster-plagued swamp. The weirdest part was that Enlai soon enough left his tent and began to walk surrounded by 6 guards with glaives. He seemed to have his own plan as he began to deal with the matters of his camp observing, and moving troops around a bit as he seemed to be looking out towards the swamp, brooding the sudden sabotaging.

Merrze would keep pushing forward working in tandem with her partner to help dwindle the foes numbers. It seemed like their foes grew as the battle raged on. Despite this observation her forces had obviously covered major grounds. They had gotten closer to their targets. As each moment passed she grew more focused, her gaze has strong and fiery. She marched on as the enemies before her stared her down preparing for the oncoming attack, Soon enemy archers would aim towards them, one specifically aiming to hit the white haired fanalis. In order to attack them and stop the incoming attack she would user her technique Palm of Gaea. She moved into stance, getting a firm position before she would strike up the ground. As she knocked up a large rock she would then knock it forward with great force. She would then try to press on if her attack had gotten through. It was the time for the real battle to being very soon. But she would have no idea what was coming.

The black haired girl looked at the water from Shousui’s magic quickly removing the lava and Noir could easily tell that the older magician was annoyed by her act. A playful smile appeared on the younger girl face, although it only happened for a split second and nobodu else would be able to notice the unusual expression that she just made. “I understand.” She answered the other magician’s yell, satisfied by the test that she just did and planned to just continue playing along with what the former noblewoman wanted her to do. Noir wondered what kind of punishment that she would receive from Lady Shousui as she recalled all kind of worst things that had ever happened to her in the past, sculpting her into what she was at the moment. Perhaps it was something surprising though, considering the lady was a master of trickery herself.

A being that Noir had seen before, or at least had a similar feature with the creature that she encountered in the mysterious shrouded isle appeared once Lady Shousui clasped her hand with her staff. She remembered how easy the creature pummeled someone by merely stepping on them, noting herself that she needed to be very careful with whatever Shousui want to do with the golem. Not long after that, several leafy structure rose up as well and the former noblewoman decorated the current area to be as similar as the arena in coliseum, possibly wanting Noir to fight the golem with gladiator style. Noir was right with her guess and she thought it was generous of the former noblewoman to let her using magic, although she didnt give an exact parameter on how strong the magic level that she could use. But oh well, as long as it didnt destroy the labyrinth...

“Haku, wait a the side of the arena. Stay defensive as I fight this creature alone...” Noir glanced at the white colored beast, noticing the hint of disagreement on her beast’s growl and expression. “...for now.” The liger growled happily although he had already knew his master’s behavior and way of fighting, understanding well that he was not really needed at the moment but just in case she was in a pinch, he would step up and fight beside her. Once Haku ran towards the side of the arena, Noir stayed still, her golden orbs stared at the life construct as she waited for it to make the first move with her staff clenched tightly in her grip.

"There is a monster here that's probably not in a very welcoming mood, we should finish up and head out as soon as possible. " The roars were alarming for the beast tamer, and he wondered what kind of creature it was. However, his curiosity wouldn't get the better of him while he stood face to face with the enemy.  The wood pillars were blocked by the captain that he aimed at, due to the fact that the captain threw one of his men in front of the attacks. It was shameless of course but smart if considering the life of the captain being saved. However, it made the captain on Gao's side more of a target in Lagi's eyes if he was willing to sacrifice anything for victory. The sooner the captain dies, the better.

With Duality in his left hand and the  Elegian Gauntlet being holstered in his right, Lagi sped towards the captain at A rank speeds with a killing intent.  Surprisingly enough, Lagi would seem like a madman to rush towards the captain in such a way as he prepared his arrows, but the confidence of the fallen king never left his side as he persevered with his relentless assault. The first two arrows were actually intercepted by a strange power, serving as a borg of some sort. A black wave of lighting flashed as the Arrows got into a certain radius, evaporation occurred with the first two into dust upon contact.  As for the third arrow being aimed at a vital spot being rather close, Lagi used even more of his danger sensory reserved perception to dodge at an extremely close range, a feat that would seem literally impossible to comprehend. However, while Lagi's danger sense was at its highest extension peak, he was capable of such an abnormal task while moving at A rank speeds while staying at a balance worthy of the gods that govern every limbo game known to man.

At that same angle, Lagi swung his right arm around at A rank speeds, clenching his fist to hit the general in the Right ribcage with a molten fist, packing A tier lava magic and B tier strength.

Despite Zadi's plan not working as expected, the situation could be said to have started looking better, more or less. Too many soldiers around for even Zadi to handle, but there was honestly nothing more Zadi could do while hiding. His stamina wasn't going to get better, so the blonde warrior decided coming out of hiding and assaulting the individual looked to be the commander surrounded by more guards than Zadi wished.

Zadi would attempt to be quick as he let his camouflage fade to oblivion, using his exceptional speed to rush up to one of the glaive-wielding guards surrounding the commander, draw his golden sword, and slash at the guard's head with the intent to kill. Being alone behind enemy lines didn't allow for the mercy of knockout blows, at least not in Zadi's opinion. However, as a precaution if simple battle did not favor Zadi's future, loose string was tied to Zadi's ankle and drawn through Zadi's baggy pants and let drop to the ground, waiting to be used. The more Zadi moved around, the more string would fly out of Zadi's right pant leg.

The general's plan had worked successfully, he had drawn out Zadi by leaving his tent. It was indeed him in the group of guards, but he now had what he wanted the saboteur up close and personal.  Within the first few moments that Zadi had begun to move forward the guard that was being charged at was able to prepare his counter. Within the deciding moments the guard was able to block the damage, and soon move backward with the rest of his forces. Enlai smiled and moved back a bit as he smirked and let his men handle the situation and see how they perform.

The guards stood side by side, looking at each other and the blonde commander now that combat had begun in their camp they felt that they needed to teach this blonde pretty boy a lesson! Each one of them has been working together as Enlai's guards since they were his schoolmates. It was a bond, and a thing of honor and they didn't take to kindly to him suddenly coming to mess with what they considered to be the righteous thing. As they began to feel the drums of war beating in their hearts two of the guards began to dash forward and make righteous strikes towards Zadi!

As his loyal men began to fight off the sudden saboteur Lord Enlai began to smirk a bit as his eyes darted about the field obviously thinking of various plots and strategies. Soon he lifted his fan to his mouth as if to hide something, but nothing seemed to come of it. However, he soon began to speak within the hastened moments of his guard's charge. "Don't worry your unjust forces will be destroyed soon enough!"

Lady Shousui giggles to herself from afar as she watches the black haired witch send her beast to the corner and prepared for battle. She was starting to regain her cheerful mood after that rude little girl tried to destroy her magnificent work. Now she was going to cheer herself up with a nice little gladiator battle.

There were three large golems in total surrounding the young witch, one in front and two behind her. The good lady did not spare in detail as each earth golem was created to look like giant gladiators as to stick with the whole theme of the arena and gladiator combat. Two of the golems were bare handed, however the third that was in front of her was holding a large sword made of earth that was roughly 3 meters long. Besides the extra details and the weapon they were still basic golems though. Shousui was incredibly proud of her children, she had modeled them after some of her favorite gladiators at the coliseum in Reim.

Shousui slaps her hands and the sound of a gong rings throughout the arena signaling the start of the fight. The golem with the sword lets out a deafening roar and charges at the black haired witch, swinging its large sword at her by bringing it straight down on top of her. The other two would stand motionless 15-meters away from her, as if waiting their turns. Shousui giggles, wondering how the young witch handle her children.
Battle Info:
Enemy for Noir:

The Fanalis' strikes were not in Vain as soon enough the rock strike slammed against the body of the archer, making a firm audible crunch as his body soon fell to the battlefield limp, and lifeless. It was cold, but life in war was brutal, but the thing that made it easier was believing you are fighting for the right side. The thoughts and feeling of fighting for the greater good filling the minds of the surrounding soldiers as they exchanged blows, blood, and lives. Soon as Merrze began to move forward the two ominous women began to move forward, but before they could engage with her two more archers came to avenge their dead ally.

They were a bit pissed seeing the member of their squadron had been killed as if he was dropped from too high up, they imagine though that he felt his death a bit, and wanted to avenge that. They moved in pretty quickly as they both valiantly leaped into the air before both of them fired a double shot off towards the white lioness. All the while Junjie was cursing to himself, a bit pissed at the presumptuous archers, but he would leave them to their inevitable fates.

As Merrze began to move forward and get closer to the enemy general, Baozhai was dealing with her own problems. She was still fending off some simple grunts. Though it didn't take her long to turn and see what was happening with Merrze, she wouldn't be able to move in fast enough to help. She had faith in her companion though and looked forward with somewhat hopeful eyes and, a focused mind as she moved in as well trying to keep a good grasp on the situation for improvise planning.

Combat details: 1 Militia Archer died, 2 charged forward
New enemies:

When he was sent out on his mission, the foolish captain wrongfully believed that it would be a piece of cake. He spent a good chunk of his career clawing to his position whilst kicking down those around him. Time spent as being the top dog in his small group led to him believing that he was cut from better cloth than those around him. That he was destined for something greater and that no other mortal man could fell him in battle as long as he used his good judgement.

However, his delusions were stripped away from him in a moment of awe. His eyes couldn’t even keep up as the tattooed man dodged all of his arrows. He could only stand there, his grip slack on his bow while two arrows were reduced to mere ash and the third flew harmlessly past. It was almost mind-boggling at how the man managed to flawlessly avoid his attack, and for a second the captain felt shame for how his abilities fell short.

That mere moment of self-awareness died away with the man. A ragged scream erupted from his throat; a desperate caterwaul that filled the air as maddening heat overcame his senses. The blow shattered the man’s ribs, melting the skin away as only gurgles begun to escape him. And then, the captain fell away. He collapsed, steam rolling off his body as he met the water below them.

The attention was drawn away from the man’s death when the forest shook once more. The air echoed with thunder and a roar, the trees leaning and groaning as powerful winds blew against them. From beneath the canopy of the swampy jungle arose a magnificent being. Its wings spread against the backdrop of the storm, a picture of both elegance and power. Its body was distinct; warped with growths and scales yet retaining a shimmering beauty. Those in the immediate area could not help but pause in awe of the dragon.

[ToM] The Third Battle - Page 3 198523934755dfdfdbab8200022

However the picture shattered once the beast released a hate-filled roar, his body dropping to land by the ravine. Blazing eyes glared down at the humans that dotted it as Longzufu bared his terrifying fangs. To say that the Elder Dragon was in a bad mood would be an understatement. He awoke to the earth around him shuddering and collapsing, only to find that humans had entrenched themselves in his forest to fight some miserable battle To say the least, he was irritated by their presence, and he only wanted to lash out at them. The only thing that did keep Longzufu from stepping on them were the fact that he still had his pride to him.

And so, the dragon’s maw twisted into the pale imitation of a jagged grin. He flared out his wings for show, casting his shadow over them before he bent closer to them. From up close, it was even easier to see the warped scales that covered the dragon’s body; to see the rows of razor teeth that stuck out from his maw; to see the the beautiful, changing colors of his wings; and to see the jade-like talons that he boasted.

Looking among the collection of men playing war, Longzufu zeroed in on a man in particular. Despite his thug-like appearance, something about him stood out from the others. His stance bespoke of power, it was decided that Longzufu’s attention would be directed to him specifically. In a growl of a voice, the Elder Dragon would say one thing, “Explain to me why I should not squash you all now.”

After successfully dispatching the captain of the enemy Gao Group and watching him whither in pain a bit before he died, Lagi could feel in his pocket that his Rukh Compass was turning once again. He wanted to check on it in a minute, but the roar of the beast itself was more than enough of a reason to grab his attention and Give Lagi the idea that it could be the reason why he was brought top Kou. It was quite peculiar that the self-proclaimed beastmaster would run into and find salvation in a beast.

"But first things first......." Lagi would say as he grabbed the body if the dead and Dragged it a few feet closer to where the creature was as it appeared and revealed itself. Surprisingly, it was a dragon, but Lagi felt like he already knew. For some reason, something deep inside him told Lagi that it was a creature that he had experience and a high affinity with. The dragon was truly beautiful, something that Lagi has never really seen before. The only other dragon that Lagi met besides EL Drago was the life dragon he met to look for the legendary creature and the ice dragon that he met during the shrouded isle as he fought for his life. However, this type didn't immediately stand out to him, meaning it could be anything at this point.

"Oh, he really knows how to bring out an appearance. "

Lagi would say this to himself, but Orie was extremely on guard. That dragon was probably the most dangerous thing here in the forest, and it made Orie weary that it was so close to Lagi. When the dragon spoke, Lagi smiled at it.

"Hold that thought old timer...... let me clear the area a bit for you. I think you already know that I'm the easiest person to trust, in your case. "

Holding up the dead commander with his b rank strength, Lagi would motion the Gao forces to pay attention to him.

"Hey everyone with Gao, sorry to interrupt the beautiful aesthetics show, but this is your leader, right? This guy?" Once he got a bit of their attention by waving the body around like a live fish, Lagi would grip the hair of the dead body and start to literally rip it off with his B rank brute strength. The crackling sounds of the bones and the flesh tearing apart filled up the dead silence as the head was soon ripped off with the spinal cord. The blood splattered everywhere as the body of the Gao commander itself became a leaking faucet of crimson liquid.

"Surrender or die. If I'm unnaturally confident even with this big creature behind me, there is probably a reason why. Try listening to your gut this time around. " After tossing the body on the floor and waving his hands of the blood and bone matter, if the dragon waited for the small spectacle to be over, Lagi would then turn to him.

"Oh, why should you squash me? I'm obviously deity touched by dragonkin, so if I'm here, that also means I'm here for you. "

Merrze would not lower her guard after taking down only of the archers. As two more arose preparing to assault the fanalis they would let their arrows fly. The fanalis would sustain her previous attacklaunching a rock for each arrow in order to collide with them. With out a haste she would use the distraction of the large rocks to maneuver herself to the side of the group. She would then kick another rock towards the men in an attempt to try to take them both out. With animalstic grace she strode forward to finish the job if her attacks had no finished the job already. She would attempt to deliever a kick to each of the warriors with fanalis grace. If these men had been taken care of she would be a step closer to the end. The archers seemed more distinguished, a sign she was getting closer and further in the battle. She didn't know their leaders power, but they also didn't know hers.

Three giant creatures made with magic were now surrounding Noir, 2 of them were 15 meters behind her and the other one was standing tall right in front of her. The black haired girl could hear the giggle coming from the older magician, it filled the room and somehow it gave the golden eyed girl a chill on her spine as if the former noblewoman had a plan. It was no use to focus on Shousui for now though, one wrong move could easily make her a pulp underneath one of the golems' feet or slashed by the giant sword that the one in front of her wield.

Suddenly, the wicked witch clapped her hand and Noir could hear the sound of the gong. However her golden orbs were focusing on the one in front of her as it started to charge towards her while bringing its sword down to Noir. As the young magician had held her staff and pointed it upwards, she conjured 2 meters diameter crystal dome around her to defend herself, but not before scaling it once to increase the strength of the crystal dome. The girl waited for the chance as she prepared her staff for another spell by pointing it upwards. The moment when the golem’s sword shattered the crystal dome, Noir would conjure eight 1 meters acid balls, scaling it once from normal to double the hits and sent it towards the golem in front of her.

The guards surrounding the enemy magician were vigilant and more than able to defend their commander. Zadi had to use his nimble fingers in order to defend with his magical tower shield which took a massive load of damage in the blonde warrior's stead. For better or for worse, all of the guards seemed to be focused on Zadi; given this curse or blessing in disguise to attract attention, the blonde warrior used his shield's magical ability in order to try and blind the guards close enough and further distract those unable to be blinded. The light from Zadi's tower shield shone out five meters in a semicircle away from Zadi in the direction of the guards and magician. While doing so, Zadi also stabbed his golden sword's blade deep into the ground in order to use a specially made ability. Purposefully or not, the end of Zadi's string joined the blade in the ground.

I hope this ability doesn't take too long to work. I don't think I can hold off these elite guards too long.

As the light from Zadi's shield faded, the blonde warrior raised himself from his stabbing position with a bladeless, golden sword. Only the hilt and guard remained, but Zadi wouldn't allow the magician to see and therefore kept the hilt angled into the wide tower shield. Hiding one's weapon's length was a legitimate strategy; after all, the element of surprise was crucial to a successful duel! Though, given the numbers stacked against the blonde warrior, hiding the blade of his bladeless weapon was all Zadi could do against so many well trained warriors. Standing his ground, Zadi kept his eyes focused on the guard in front while maintaining the sight of his peripheral vision.

I need to stand my ground if I want to get my strategy to work. Heh, though if the golden sword's magic takes too long...

The golems sword shatters along with the witches shield. Before it could react each of the eight acid balls would hit the gladiator style golem leaving eight one meter size holes through out his body. The golem lets out a sound that sounds eerily human as it dissolves into a mix of acid and dust.

The beautiful woman smiles to herself as the first of her creations is utterly defeated by the little witch. While they were much more powerful then the usual golem they were still just a golem. While they seemed life like they were still just toys to Shousui, toys that could easily be replaced.

The other two golems let out a loud roar of pain and anguish as the first golem is destroyed, as if they actually mourned the lost of one of their own brethren. The golem behind her and to her right kneels then claps its hands and slams tem palm down into the ground creating two walls on either side of the black haired witch that were five meters tall and four wide before slamming the walls together to smash her. As this is happening the third golem behind her to the left repeats the same hand motions as the second golem sending a column from the ceiling that is five meters by five straight down onto the witch.

Attacking Enemies:

The fanalis' efforts were not in vain as soon enough she would be faced with the General Junjie's assistants in the defense of this place.  Ping, and Kazuki who both had a sinister look spread across their lips as they got closer to the fanalis as she oh-so bravely stepped forward in her conquest.  Their youthful, and beautiful appearances only made the stomach-turning aura they gave to be much more periling compared to that of the original observations. They had their weapons drawn, but they didn't attack just yet instead they looked at her up and down before they would turn to themselves, whispering about something important to the individuals. They ignored the fanalis completely as they talked to one another, laughing for a moment before they began to play rock, paper, scissors. After a best of three, Kazuki would step forward hastily getting into a martial stance before drawing her ancestral engraved long-bow. Despite having a full quiver she chose not to knock back an arrow, instead drew back an empty hand from the hair engraved on the bow, suddenly after pulling back with all her might the silver bow-string would ignite along with the mouth of the air as a flaming arrow would appear knocked back, blazing brightly as it formed into a proper shape getting bigger, and more lethal by the second.

Kazuki didn't seem tense at all at the moment, no, she thought of this as more of just another game for her. In the end, Kazuki's goals and motivations would not be hindered if the fanalis died here, or if she broke through the walls and got what she wanted. The only reason she as out here was because Gao had done one thing for her family once alive, and had no experiences or feelings with Yoshiro. However, she was a proud, and honorable warrior who was to be considered a deadly threat with their weapon. Soon in the slowed down experience of the charge shot Kazuki decided to fire at base strength instead of charging the blast.

As Kazuki released the flaming arrow as it snapped away at incredible speed the flaming bolt would begin to turn that of a hopping blazing hare that hopped off of people and objects for a boost burning them, soon the hare found the right angle and with a proper kick was able to boost forwards towards the fanalis, the Conflagration Hare emanating lethal intent.

The commander and his men huddled away from Lagi as the mighty dragon landed before them, the beast’s imposing form casting a long shadow. Their eyes collectively followed Longzufu’s movements as he landed upon the remains of the earthen wall. Menacing claws curled among the rubble whilst a mace tail lashed. There was an instinctive fear within their eyes as they watched the beast interact with Lagi.

Longzufu’s maw split into a terrifying expression of teeth, the “smile” exposing a jagged mess of fangs within his mouth. A forked tongue darted out, running along the bottom line of canines. It wasn’t often that the mighty dragon was met with a reception such as the one Lagi gave him. Most men trembled and pissed themselves, their minds overcome with the fear of being killed by he. Good examples would be the group whose eyes were glued to him.

“Very well,” the dragon uttered, the words rumbling in the air. The earth between his claws shifted as Longzufu settled in his spot, though the beast paid it no mind as he watched Lagi. There was an unmistakable glint of interest in his golden eyes, sparked to life as he watched the tattooed man lift up a dead body. The first notion that came to Longzufu was that the corpse was to be a sacrifice - which would not be appreciated due to the fact the dragon preferred his meals to be quivering.

But, in a show of dominance, Lagi ripped off the head of the commander. Disgust and horror marked the faces of the men watching, including Commander Xu. But most importantly, there was the sound of dropping weapons. The small battalion of Gao’s soldiers surrendered, their eyes flickering between Lagi and the dragon who sat behind him. They would fight for their emperor if there was a chance of surviving; but the long to live outmatched the rebel cause.

With the debacle over, Lagi returned his attention to Longzufu. Luckily for the man, his display of violence was something akin to amusement to the dragon. “Just because you’re touched does not I shall immediately follow you,” the beast answered with a sweeping motion of a limb, “While I’ll say that you have made a good first impression, I admit, there is still more I want to see from you.”

As Longzufu spoke, a company of soldiers transversed down the length of the ravine. The officers of the troop traveled on top horses, their shouts accompanied by baying neighs. The head of the force flew over the heads of his troops, his cold gaze centered on the draconic beast set before them. As they neared, Commander Xu’s own company would hear the distant sound of their approach. Immediately, the men shook themselves of the fear that had taken root. Their weapons were raised warily once more as they began to move into their formations. Lagi would be given the freedom to further converse with Longzufu by the commander.

Things were going Lagi's way, and he was fine with it for the time being. Braking the will of the enemy army would have given Lagi a better chance to negotiate with Longzufu. As strong as Lagi was, it was a stretch to say that he would be confident when it came to fighting Longzufu in a drawn-out battle,e especially doing so with no harm to befall the armies that were going about fighting for Yoshino. At the very least, he was the reason why the big elder dragon didn't go around eating any human that it saw, Lagi was sure for a fact that Longzufu was pretty angry with the humans, the constant fighting and explosions must have woken him up, or even freed him by shaking a bit of the ground. It would have been known to some if there was a dragon treating the jade mountains as it's home.

Either way, Lagi was allowed some downtime with the dragon in order to bring it on his side. It seemed to Longzufu that Lagi's ruthlessness wasn't enough for them to form a contract with each other.

"Oh yeah? And what more would you want to see in order for us to be partners? What would an elder dragon-like yourself desire in order to form a contract with a human? Or even better, a clan, a bloodline?"

If Lagi knew the details that the dragon wanted him to fulfill, it would be done as swiftly as possible, if it was possible.

As the world was in it it's still state, the fanalis would soar into the sky with the use of her ability lunar cycle, so she could get past the flaming rabbit. The golem on her left goes to summon a wall to protect itself but reacts to slow and let's out a groan as it dissolves and crumbles into a mix of acid and dust. The last golem that was at her right got lucky and dodged the acid spell. He let's out a bellowing roar as it charges the dark haired girl only to get destroyed from the dragon that hit him.

The former noblewoman sensed that the remaining of her little gladiators we're destroyed. He giggles with excitement which would be heard by the young magician despite being no where near the arena. "Good little girl. You defeated my toys and now can finally advance in the labyrinth. Just remember that this was just a punishment. The true fun begins now."

As she speaks the arena turns back into the path it had been earlier. There was only one direction to go with a dim light seen down the path. Her next obstacle would be down the path where the light is.

Kazuki was impressed with the fanalis and watched her as she saw her flying into the sky. The archer herself had taken down many aerial targets and thought that this would be pretty easy, but soon enough she had learned she wasn't dealing with the usual, the fanalis soon came down and Kazuki was surprised, only soon enough using her patented Hoppin' Mad technique, leaping around and dodging the rocks before soon enough landing on her feet, and chuckling like she was confident in everything she had just done, but in reality she had been lucky enough to start hopping before the rocks got close. She looked back at her allies, Ping seemed disinterested and Junjie wanted to fight the white lioness, she would be on her own for this fight whether or not it was the best for her side.

While the other two waited the battle raged around them, forces clashing and the sounds of people crying, screaming, dying, and praying could be heard from the voices of many them being indistinguishable from one another showing the violence and cruelty of war in the unending orchestra of sadism. Kazuki couldn't think straight at the moment, but she was able to come up with a plan that she thought would be useful and might work. Not much time had passed from Kazuki regaining her footing before she would suddenly dash forward towards the fanalis, pulling back her bow a bit and suddenly stopping a few meters in front of the fanalis before suddenly pointing her bow up and began Raining dreams.

Kazuki:

Lagi wasn’t far from wrong in his presumption that Longzufu was angry at the humans. He is a simple creature who desired a simple life. While it didn’t seem like a pleasing life -either sleeping way the days or watching the quiet day-to-day life of the forest- it was one that made Longzufu happy. There wasn’t any vacuous drama involved. There wasn’t any stress involved. Yes, it was, admittedly, dull from time to time, it was better than the meaningless ruckus humans involved themselves with.

Well, that was the case before some foolish humans decided that his territory was the perfect place to stage a battle on. They destroyed the forest with reckless abandonment to fulfil a hollow cause. While Longzufu wasn’t exactly sure on why they were fighting this time -again, he was an elder dragon, there’s no point in him keeping up with idiotic human affairs- but it was always the same with these creatures. At the root of it all, someone or some group is trying to accomplish a goal, either money, power, or both. Either way, it was a metaphoric pest latched onto a scale that Longzufu intended to flick off. So who cares if he blew away some of them away? They had already agreed to throw away their lives for the futile conflict anyways.

So far, he has been patient with Lagi for the simple case that this human was interesting. The man managed to pique his interest, but that was not an object one can maintain for long when they dealt with Longzufu. The roar of fighting in the forest was wearing down on his already irritated senses, and the explosion that shook the elder dragon out of his burrow had worn him down already. If Lagi wanted a chance with the creature, then he would have to do something that would truly impress the creature.
“First things, I would appreciate some respect from a human,” Longzufu growled as he leaned closer to Lagi, “That would include a proper introduction. My name is Longzufu; you would be doing yourself a favor to remember it. Additionally, you would only be helping yourself if you actually introduced yourself properly,”  the elder-dragon replied. His head tilted to the side as he further considered what he truly wanted. His eyes roamed over to the approaching brigade and he bore his teeth in response.

“Let’s say this: you fight those humans over there and be the one to take down whatever leader that’s dancing about. If you impress me, I’ll consider making a contract. Oh, and make sure that the fight is fun. This is my time that you’re using, I want to make sure that it’s not gone to waste.”  And with that final answer, the dragon promptly stood back up. The earth shook briefly as Longzufu stepped around the broken ravine before once again laying back down. He leaned against a nearby tree; the image would easily strike one of a person sitting down to enjoy a play. Because that’s exactly what Longzufu was doing - watching a show thrown by humans. If Lagi managed to make it interesting, then perhaps he would consider joining in on the fun himself. But for now, he was content to just judge from the side-lines.

The young magician made it, she managed to destroy the golems that Lady Shousui made. But she knew the former noblewoman madness wouldn’t just stop there, there might be some surprise waiting for her after this. Noir was worried though, she had used a lot of magoi to conjure some of those spells from before and if she didn’t use it wisely after this, she would be doomed. Just how strong the madwoman was… and where did she disappeared into? Noir could have sworn that Shousui was there the whole time, but perhaps her presence before was also an illusion made to play with Noir’s mind. She didn’t know where Yakutetsu was too, although she saw him standing beside Shousui before in the house right after Fuu’s death. Thinking too much wouldn’t be a good thing to do at the moment, so the young girl decided to ignore that matter for now.

The black haired girl would approach her beast who had been waiting for her loyally and she would maneuvered her hand, signaling Haku to walk beside her. “Let’s go, Haku.” She said with an affection as both of them walked into the light with her grip stayed tight on her staff. ”I wonder how she despise fate and became like this…”

Merrze was like a wild storm though. She could rage on, assaulting this opponent with attack after attack to overwhelm them. Archers maybe quick, but they did have the disadvantage at dealing with strong close range attacks. It was time to go for a finishing blow, the fanalis just had to look for the chance. She would be prancing around in order to stay prepared, it would only take one move in order for the white haired lioness to make her decisive strike.

The moment of action would soon come to be. As the female archer would begin to notch her arrows. As the whistling shots of fire launched through the air Merrze knew she needed to move. The fanalis would once again use lunar cycle, leaping forward in order to dodge the rain of fire that was coming towards her. Positioning herself so that the rocks she kicked would be blasting into the face of her target. If the rocks hadn't managed to do the damage the fanalis would try to strike with two basic punches and one high kick to the head. Hopefully her positioning. speed and power would've been enough to subdue the female archer.

Lagi wasn't one to tell the dragon his true name, not in front of all of these people. He was here for a reason, a purpose. Lagi had no intention of ruining his cover, so he thought it would be better to continue the ruse of being the illustrious member of the dark hand that he was.

Stretching a bit, Lagi would then proceed to head on over to the battlefield with the rest of the troops. She would walk into a large room that was square in shape. The room was 1000 square meters and looked similar to the rest of the maze. A large beating sound, similar to a drum, echoes through the room almost like a pulse. In the middle of the room was a sign that had writing in it that she would be able to read if she got closer. On each side of the room at the far ends stood two large minotaurs  both guarding rather extravagant chests. These creatures we're about three meters tall both brandishing battle axes. The minotaurs we're about 40 or so meters from noir on either side of the room and the chest 45 meters from her. At the end of the room was a large wall meaning that she would have to accomplish some goal in this room in order to advance.

MINOTAURS x2:

The sudden assault unleashed by the fanalis, along with her movements to protect herself from damage would prove to be quite effective as the firey lance that singed the air soon fell upon the harsh rock as there was nothing in its path to continue its fiery wrath. The earthen projectiles soon met with the archer's face before she could realize what was going on, and as she let out her first cry of pain she felt fists that felt like steel crashing into her face, and then a sting against her head, and then darkness. The kick had knocked something loose in her head and an audible crack could be heard, was it her neck or was it her skull. It wasn't clear as her body soon ragdolled to the side with her eyes having rolled into the back of her head. A sight that was quick, and brutal but happened in an instant. Whether she reacted to her sudden kill or not the world around her would not care as her soldiers cried out in pain, or vigor as their own blades clash and ended one another's life. Soon after what could've been seconds, or could've been minutes, it was hard to tell in the vastness and chaos of the battle Ping would step forward, each step like a single chime of the heaviest war bell.

She looked at the fanalis looking her up and down as she held her polearm with a heavy weight on each side and smirked as she positioned it over her shoulder. Finally, she spoke one simple thing to the fanalis. "Look I'm just a mercenary, I don't wanna waste my time and get messed up best case scenario, so pay me double and I'll help you out?" It was a blunt statement, and of course Junjie was in range to hear the offer, but honestly, he didn't care all he wanted was to mount Merrze above his fireplace. Either way to him he had to fight, so what matter it be if there's another.

As the offer was put before her the battle raged on, and Merrze forces seemed to be pushing through forces to the wall pretty well. Thanks to the brilliant advice of the cavalry commander, along with the lioness' plan they were able to cut off and whittle them down, but each step was also costly for them as members of their own forces kept falling down and crying out in pain as some just couldn't handle it, while others just got unlucky in some spot or another.

Combat details: Kazuki eliminated.

The two forces intermingled into combat, the air ringing with sounds of warfare. Weapons clashed, bodies moved through the water, and there were screams of pain and anger. Jiemen’s forces found themselves at a disadvantage due to the fact that they were already weakened by previous attacks and their opponents steadily multiplied. More continued to pour in - traveling down the ravine or jumping from above the unharmed wall.

Those with the sight of Magicians would bear witness to a flurry of black Rukh as they filled the air. The warped butterflies swarmed, buzzing eagerly as more men continued to fall at the hands of their foes. Their cries fell on deaf ears however, the merciless fight continuing despite their waste of life. One of the particular reasons for the fight was cutting down Yoshirou’s soldiers left and right without remorse. His claws raked like butter through their weak points, letting their bodies stain the land.

The man, if you could call him that anymore, ripped through the ranks. His triumph allowed his own forces to advance further as Weigang wore a hole down the middle of their line. With a sucker punch to a weaker foe’s stomach, he sent the boy in question flying before finding himself before Lagi. Cruel yellow eyes fell upon the shorter figure, his already ugly mug twisted into the picture of a hideous sneer.

Gao’s army knows Weigang as the result of a Dungeon Beast transformation and countless Life Magic experiments - turning him into the bonafide monster. His tail lashed from side to side, the barb thirstily waiting for the welcomed taste of blood. His claws curled and uncurled, itching to sink into flesh. And as so, facing down Lagi, he bared his fanged teeth before looking towards Longzufu.

“It’s nice to see another dragon after so long,” Weigang hissed, his rough voice sounding almost pleased. His sneer converted into something that was supposed to resemble a smile as his attention returned to Lagi. “If you don’t mind me, I have business to attend to.” Weigang growled before launching himself at Lagi with A-tier speed.
