Shora was out late traveling the streets of rim. She was told by her inforument that someone was illegally moving a shipment of elixir that night. when she heard a blood curtailing scream. She took off in the direction it was coming from jumping from rooftop to rooftop as fast as she could. She was fast for a woman with that much bulk on her.
When she got to the shipping dock she noticed a red headed figure standing over her informant. She was close to the old man and owed him her life. The least she could do was bring his killer to justice. Even if it meant at the cost of her own life. She would gladly pay that price for the man who saved her life more times then she could count.
She didn't have time to cry she had to act fast sadness would only get in the way. There would be time to mourn later but for now avenging the old man would have to do. she took a soundless breath as she wiped away the tears that started to flow. She then took a running jump and soured though the air before landing gracefully behind the person she felt did her oldest friend in. She readied her staff and pointed at the figure back.
