Aoife walked out to the around the town, hoping to meet her new friend in the central square of the city before heading out into the plains. She was confused as to why he left so suddenly, perhaps it was something she said? Either way, she had a real friend in Magnostadt! A real friend! It was an exciting venture for her as she hadn't had a real friend to speak to since she lived back at home. She was still confused as to why Mordecaiah left so suddenly, and with a intense flushing of red in his face! Perhaps he had never had a friend before? That would definitely be it. Ah. Charity, always doing such good charity for the world. Aoife gave herself a pat on the back and smiled wide, proud of her accomplishment and conceit. She looked around, hoping to find her fellow magician friend, but he didn't seem to show up.
"Is he coming...? Oh this is so silly! Did I tell him? Oh no! What if I forgot to tell him!?" She panicked, hoping she didn't forget to tell him the meeting place, and time, and reason why we're even out here! Oh no! Aoife started to panic, pacing around the large fountain placed in the city square. However, she decided not to lose her cool and simply wait a little bit longer. Perhaps he was running late? Perhaps he was making sure to be especially prepared. That was it. That was definitely it!
So, Aoife waited, staring at the people who walked around. She spotted children playing in the city, and adults shopping and people going about their daily life, free as the world would let them be. She smiled, and sat down by the fountain, the water glistening in the sunlight behind her as she continued to people watch. She basked in its beauty.
