I was looking around at the characters and noticed there was only one present Magi, any reason for that? Oh and if there is actually only one Magi atm how exactly would one go about becoming one.

From my knowledge, all I know is that becoming a Magi requires the magician who wants to become one to be consistently active within the community.

There is currently only one Player Magi, however there is also an NPC magi known as "The Contractor" whom is an antagonistic plot device used in the world plot.

As for becoming a player magi, there isn't really a set path towards doing so. There are a few conditions you'd need to meet however.

-Must be very active
-Must be an above average writer
-Must have a solid understanding of Magi source material
-Must perform In-Character feats that would catch the attention of Ugo

The last magi was chosen as the result of a vote on anonymous submissions. But future Magi will be chosen by staff based on plot context.

P.S. You don't have to be a magician, but if you aren't you will have to die and reincarnate as one in order to become a Magi.
