Just as last time, Zadi and Lagi were both sucked up into and out of time and space! There were stars everywhere, but only for a moment did Zadi and Lagi stay where they were. However, in that one moment, Zadi and Syma could both see the greatness of the stars themselves, the origin of it all! The fallen Kings and Queen, the fallen warriors that are either infamous or famous to all! Everything was being represented by stars of all kinds!

But yes, this was all short lived as Zadi and Syma crashed into the ever so familiar Golden Beam of Light that was a major source of the Rukh themselves! Zadi tried to keep his cool and closed his eyes, prompting Syma to do the same in hopes that nothing terrible would happen to them the moment they stepped into the dungeon itself!

After a few moments of his eyes being closed, Zadi awoke with Syma beside him. Lagi was also on the ground, not far away. He was na ambiguous amount away from Lagi, one that Lagi might know the amount to. However, that didn't change the fact that all four of them...beasts included...were noew inside the dungeon! Zadi got up with Syma neatly slithering around Zadi's whole body, neatly hanging from the shoulder and off the shoulder of Zadi's left shoulder, looking the other way of Zadi.

"Alright Lagi, time to get up! WAKE UP! YOU TOO ZYGUS! Alright, follow me close behind and make sure to watch where you step. Can't tell what might happen in here..." Zadi walked forward, heading for one of the many openings of the Main Hall of Vassago~

Lagi woke up as he shook his head; Zygus was alert and sniffed the air furiously. “Yawn, heaven isn’t as cozy as I thought it would be. Anyway, I guess were in the strange dungeon then. Lagi gets up and hops on Zygus’s back. “ You don’t mind if I stay on my pet do you? I don’t think it’s safe to be on the floor, not at the speed that I can run anyway. Zygus is somewhat faster than I am, and he could fly. And I don’t mynd surveying the area if you mind. Plus since he’s bigger, you and your pet is free to hop on.” LAgi scratched his head and looked around. “Well, let’s stick together. Im right beside you Zadi” While riding on Zygus’s back, Lagi stays closely near Zadi.

"Teehee!"

As the two brave adventurers made their way deeper into the dungeon the sound of giggling would be unmistakable all around them. The laughter sounded squeaky as if made by a mouse or a child's toy and it echoed all around making the source hard to determine. After a few seconds of this, all would go silent for a few disturbing moments. Then, without warning, a fanfare sounded as if played on a tiny set of trumpets as one of the many doorways opened up. From within, a swarm of 10 tiny cherubs came flying through. Five of the tiny attackers emerged from a doorway 15m ahead of Zadi and Lagi while another five came flying from another door just 5m ahead of them.

The cherubs were all laughing and giggling as if they were getting ready to play a game. "Test the trespassers!" one of the Cherubs closer to the two men shouted inspiring the rest of them to shout in kind, "Test them!" The battle cry would be followed by a charge as tiny white balls of holy light formed at their hands. The five cherubs closest to the would-be-dungeon-conqueror's would fire the bullets of holy light at Zadi while attempting to flank around him and his companion in a clockwise circle. 5 balls of holy light with potential for D-tier damage would speed through the air towards the black magician threatening to cover him in superficial burns.

The group of five cherubs which emerged further away had their intent set on Lagi and his metallic looking bird companion. They held their ground 15m away and combined their bullets into a large 1m diameter ball of divine wrath which was then fired not at Lagi, but his flying creature instead.

Both attack would pursue their targets should the beast tamer and magician choose to dodge as they would likely soon discover.

Zadi and Lagi walked into one of the openings in this large wall filled with many more openings. However, that wasn't the end of all the openings. There were several doors that were within a tunnel-like area, a pretty big one at that. Zadi keep his guard up, making sure to ONLY put up his borg when something dangerous or even just suspicious were to happen. He gathered several Rukh into pure force around himself, not necessarily for any specific technique though. The doors that lined the tunnel seemed very suspicious, but they could always be for travelers, not necessarily...other things.

"Hey Lagi...did you hear giggling just now? Wait, I distinctly hear some trumpeting, too...are there other people here?"

Zadi unfortunately left his guard down when he stopped in place and tried to pinpoint the different sounds within the tunnel. However, the sounds were indistinctly coming from all over the place! But then, almost as if cued on stage, the stage being the tunnel of the dungeon, lots of little beings came from two different doors, the same type of doors that lined the tunnel! Zadi wasn't ready for anything to come at him until he saw some flashes of light only a split second after being hit by said flashes of light. It hurt, but it wasn't all too bad to be honest. Like when you accidentally touch a still hot stove...but five times in different places all over the front-side of your body...which all hit Zadi's open chest since his Kimono didn't cover that much area. Zadi could see a larger flash getting bigger and bigger, so instead of just taking out the immediate 5 cherubs, Zadi quickly amassed a plan to take out all ten. Syma got off of Zadi while shaking her head scales, creating a rattling noise in the process. Syma knew something was up...

Now without Syma, Zadi used his Rush spell to zoom past the first five cherubs, rolling underneath them until he was behind them, then standing up out of the roll only 5 meters behind them and 5 meters in front of the other 5 cherubs. The large attack was launched with Zadi's borg at the ready and in the way! Unfortunately, the borg burst on impact, but destroyed the glowing ball in the process. Zadi then discharged the remaining pure force he had left after the Rush spell and used his Burst spell with only half a second for the cherubs to react. However, they were fast, they might be able to get out of the way, but is only seeing black or a blur suspicious enough to move? Well, Zadi would son find out no matter what, but he didn't have his borg left only after the first room! If this quickly thought up scheme didn't worked, then Lagi would have to come up with something, fast!

Zygus made a strange growl as the odd Pixie looking creatures appeared. They were shouting something akin to testing them, while Lagi remained on the back of his trusted partner. He noticed that there was something afoot, or else Zygus would be docile for a period of time. “…” Lagi was a little more than ten meters away from Zadi when the attack of the pixies happened. It was definitely a strange kink that Zygus had when he walked, he was usually more obedient when they were flying, but this time he wasn’t moving. Zygus was completely focused on the enemy opponents. LAgi was pretty concerned as to what was going on, or his next moves. While planning that out in his head, Lagi noticed that there was a blur around Zadi for a full second. Was that his attack? “I hope you know what your doing. "

OCC: This makes the distance between the first group and Lagi 5 meters total. Giving the creatures base speed of 10 m/s and they were moving from the moment they shot this gives me the ability to close that gap to pretty quick, 1.5 seconds. Taking into account that they were already moving during this post towards you all and neither comment on their range from the other they will have moved out of Zadi’s attack range and are now point blank more or less at Lagi due to the fact that was their original goal in the first place of that statement (the flanking aspect).

The five cherubs that first fired had already closed the gap between themselves at the bird riding man. They had been able to avoid the blast of the mage easily and by a long shot. They were now within 1 meter of the man on the bird, he seemed not to even care that he was now surrounded by five of the dungeon beast, the fool. The five cherubs were at eye level with the man and as their orbs flew down they would join as one and hit the bird at point blank range dealing B tier damage ( attack moves 10 m/s and you are only 1 meter away leaving very little to no room to dodge or counter this also is rather tricky to dodge due to the fact that the attack is also 1 meter in diameter so it pretty much is already touching your pet the moment it leaves their hands.) As their attack fly at the bird the cherubs would zoom backwards trying to get a gap between them and the man. As they did so they would be heard giggling throughout the whole hallway.

Now the other group that had fired the first combined ball was left still in their doorway 15 meters from Zadi’s original location. As the mage set his snake pet down and zoomed off towards the group the leading cherub spoke up. “Retreat the big people are coming!” Their attack had already been launched and it knew where to go they no longer needed to stick around. The group started to fly away just as their attack smashed right into the man’s borg. Right after this occurred a shockwave would rush over the area taking out the cherub that had called for the retreat and the one nearest to him the others had already been flying behind him. It seemed that this mage might prove a bit harder to take out then they first thought.

Zadi could hear the impact of a an attack happening behind him...or at least he hoped that it was his imagination. The only things behind him were five cherubs and Lagi and Zygus. However, Zadi was frustrated with the speed and...thoughts...that these cherubs had. All the cherubs did was run away at the first sign of danger. They weren't brave enough to be called dungeon beasts. Zadi was so irritated that he decided not no longer conserve his Magoi for this dungeon! Zadi quickly gathered dust and other particulates into the his Ball spell. The Cherubs behind him were greater in number, so taking them out was a priority to Zadi. Zadi turned around and launched his 20 m/s B-Tier power Ball at the nasty little things that moved at only half the speed of the Ball spell. Zadi wouldn't dare miss a single one as he controlled the gravity of the Ball with sheer hate! A single hit from the Ball spell would most definitely render those tiny things incapable of flying any longer! Oh, and to be more specific, zadi was only 10 meters away from Lagi while the cherubs were moving in or already by Lagi. The Ball spell moves at 20 m/s so it would only take half a second to reach Lagi's position. While the ball spell was moving, Zadi sprinted over to Lagi's position at 2 m/s...pretty pathetic though. It would take a minimum of 5 seconds to reach Lagi's position, but at least the range of Ball would follow suit as it would keep smashing through cherubs until they were all out cold.

Lagi made a critical error in being too patient. He should have listened to Zygus’s instincts when he had the chance. Now, he would have to come up with something very quick if he was to help his best friend survive. How was he supposed to beat his father if he couldn’t even tame his own pet. “Got to think fast.” Even though Lagi’s battle instincts were not as great as Zadi, his pet made up for it more than enough. The bird species type that Zygus was a part of had a great sense of sound elevation, meaning they can detect the height from which sound is emanating, because one ear hole is placed higher than the other. All of this is to pinpoint the exact location of the Stymphalian bird’s prey. Zygus was already sizing them up when they moved into position, taking into account the sound of their wings and continuous flapping, as well as the laughter. The flanking position was specified on the left to right side of eye level, which means that the combination of the judgment balls would proceed downwards to Zygus’s head. Zygus wasn’t even flying at the time, he was on the floor. However, the birds natural ability of sound elevation, coordinated with the sound of firing. A good guess towards the specific targeted body part of the attack from the fairies was made, which made Zygus instinctively begin his shedding process while doing a quick backstop on his metallic bird like legs.

The metallic bird family has a weird quirk of shedding longer and wider feathers of their body frame, which is mostly because of the way they use it for combat. The shedding process from this creature happens instantaneously, and ranges from shooing out, to sliding off. In this current case, the shedding process happened immediately with the firing of the ball, with Zygus firing all ten metallic feathers from its head towards the ball in the form of shedding. The shedding was done at the same time in unison with the back step, lightening the load instantly and increasing Zygus’s speed by 15 m/s. As for the metallic feathers, they were 9 meters in length and 4 meters in width. This gave Zygus a few thick sheets of metal to delay the ball of light by a few seconds in order to perform the back step, which would have 5 m/s more in speed in comparison to the ball. Also, hitting somethin solid would eliminate the homing process of the ball. If successful, Zygus would proceed to take flight backwards, while spacing out the meters from the bird to the pixies by 15, while being four meters from the ground.

OCC: Well Zadi I hate to be a dick but you are actually nearly 20 meters away when casting that attack so it would take a full second to get there. So your attack would not hit. If you had commented on moving before casting or even moving back in either this post or the previous one you could say you were only 10 meters away. Proof of this is found in these quotes above. As you can see Lagi put himself 10 meters away from you before you charged that first set of cherubs, you then went 10 meters in a dash at the group causing that 20 meter gap. Your attack will only have a 10 meter distance left in its path once it reaches Lagi’s and the cherubs area but due to its speed it would still overwhelm the cherubs since it would take them a whole second to get to that safe area while only .5 from the 20 meter mark of your attack to the 30 thus still killing them all just slower than you planned it will also cause you not to reach Lagi’s area until 10 seconds not 5 as you originally had. Now I am sure you can cancel this attack but if not Lagi will be just as susceptible to being hit as the cherubs are since he would clear that last 10 meters only .75 seconds and the ball again would clear it in .5 seconds.

Now as for Lagi’s plan, I’m iffy on the total dodging since in fact the attack is touching you the moment it leaves their hands. Now I get your feathers shedding would halt their direct hit of you but you would still be grazed at the very least due to that single fact that their attack would be touching you as it left their hands. Now as for the feathers slowing it down a few seconds like you have I am not going to say that a C rank supplementary spell that just boost speed will slow down an attack at point blank range for a few seconds, but I will allow the non homing. So here is what I am thinking, either you, Lagi, are grazed by the attack on an harm causing only superficial burns or the same for Zygus in head, both damage would only be D tier rather than the full B, we will say that due to the feathers it knocked it down a peg plus the quick step back was able to cause it to only skim you guys rather than a blow. I will leave the option up to you and write my post to make it slightly vague on that part.

Now it seemed that the little cherubs plan had worked, or had it? The sudden flutter of metallic feathers had blocked their view from the bird man for a brief moment in time but they heard their ball crash into something living before crashing down into the ground making a small crater. One of the cherubs spoke up, his squeaky little voice could hardly be heard over the sound of all the commotion going on around them. “Kill the human scum! Lady Vassago shall not be bothered by such weaklings!” His voice had not left his mouth for even a full second before a ball of dust and debris came crashing into the group massacring them all. Their limp and bloody bodies feel to the ground they were done for.

The remaining three cherubs had peaked around the doorframe from where they were hiding. They watched their brothers fall to the might of the humans. It seemed that their little welcoming party was getting smaller and smaller by the moment. They knew what they had to do. The three came out of their area and charged the man with his back to them, the man that was first hit when all this started. Going at a speed of 10 m/s they would be on top of him before he even reached halfway to the other man. They were roughly 3 meters away from him when they held out their hands shooting out three blast of white light that would crash into his back if he was not smart enough to turn around and remember the others. Their attack would be superficial like the first five that hit him but at least the beast had done a bit of damage to the man rather than die like fools.

(OOC: I never figured that I would get there in time to begin with, so generally I'm fine with what happened. I can also count on Lagi to be able to take care of himself when I can't, so all's well that ends well...sort of...never really went according to what I had imagined XD)

Well, Zadi's little plans never went according to plan, but hey! Nobody got hurt beyond repair! However, There were three loose ends...very loose ends. So loose that they would be cut  very soon...hopefully. Anyway, Zadi's Ball was able to get rid of the five that hurt Zadi at the very beginning of this fight while only grazing one of Zadi's dungeon buddies. Zadi couldn't tell who got hurt, but luckily it wasn't too serious, much like Zadi's five burns on his chest area. The only one that had done nothing this entire time was Syma, but that was for the best. Zadi didn't want his beast companion to get hurt after just one fight. Unfortunately for Zadi's pride, the three loose ends started to attack him from point-blank range with their little light attacks...or so they wanted to at least. Since Zadi was now back to his original position 10 meters away from Lagi and Zygus, he was right where he left Syma. Syma was facing forward the entire time, looking at what Zadi was doing in this battle of cherubs. She noticed the three remaining ones attacking and used his speed to get in the way of the attacks, using her body as a shield! At least the burns were superficial to say the least. They hurt a lot! But they didn't got beyond Syma's scales, only a few burned to a crisp. Zadi noticed that Syma got behind him, quickly realizing that the tiny things that tried to run from Zadi were now targeting Syma, as far as he cold tell. All the same, Zadi returned his Ball spell which was 10 meters away in half a second and then aimed the Ball at the three remaining cherubs after turning around to face them.

Due to Zadi's skill in Gravity Magic, he was able to defeat all the cherubs without hurting anyone else in the process. The Ball spell could stop in mid-air without a problem, change directions without swerving, and even kick the little cherubs' butts in only a few seconds, if not less than a few seconds. That is, IF the cherubs were hit. Though they probably were. Zadi was only a few feet away, not like he COULDN'T aim, even if he didn't try, hahaha! Not that he wasn't aiming...he did aim. One can never be too careful.

The attack managed to graze lagi, the fire inflicted superficial burns on lagi’s upper back. “Tch…” The pain was very singing, but at least his partner didn’t get hurt. That was the only thing that mattered after that short scrabble. “This place is no joke, how could something so cute be trying to kill us? “It was like lagi was stuck in the twilight zone, the next thing that they would be expecting were killer lollipops or something. “Kaw!” Zygus screeched as he would make a u turn effortlessly as if he was a fighter jet, zigzagging in confusing directions at 15 m/s to distract the pixies and give off the illusion that the metal bird was going to attack. This distraction was made to bring attention off of Zadi’s chance of retaliation. Zagi was now twelve meters from the floor and circled around the pixies from the sky like how buzzards would do in the hot canyons. Along with that, the repeated caws were emitted as a form of intimidation.

As the Cherubs fired off their beams, they were far too pre-occupied with killing the threat. Thus they didn't notice the strange snake creature coming in from the side, quickly intercepting their blows. All six of their eyes opened wide as their jaws dropped. It was only when the ball came in that they finally spoke:

"EEEK!" They shrieked as the ball took all three of them down, leaving nothing but broken wings and some green blood behind.

No threats were remaining within the room.

[OOC: You may roll the Go Dice for the Main Hall. However would Syma not be dead? She more or less received three D-Tier abilities, which equates to a C-Tier + a D-Tier. And since she's a C-Tier beast, she'd be killed by C-Tier damage. Of course it doesn't specifically state that within the Cherubs' description, but the lowest damage you can get is D, so you would treat all of them like D-Tier abilities.]

Oh no!” After the two clash of attacks, the fight between the pixies was over. However, it was Zadi that got attacked beforehand. It was like time stood still, Lagi was genuinely concerned by his friend. He was shocked about the current altercation, landing close to Zadi and his pet at high speed. “Is everyone ok?! Zadi, are you ok?” Lagi was a little frantic, and he noticed that the path on continuing was open. However, the safety and well-being of his comrade was far more important than glory, at least to him. “Is everyone ok?” Lagi said this for a second time, waiting for an answer.
