Zadi and Ani would find themselves sucked through the Gate and dragged into the space between time, the universe moving in a blur around them as they were transported from Heliohapt into Ronove’s domain. Slowly, as the world pieced together around them, the distracted Zadi and the rushed Ani would find themselves near a massive tree, nothing but an open field around them as far as the eye could see. If they were to examine the tree, they would find the bark burnt and scarred and it would not take long to figure out why as a massive bolt of lightning blazed through the sky and struck the tree. If the two were not careful to move quickly away from the natural lightning pole, they would feel the buzz and crackle of electricity as the tree absorbed the strike. They were not in any danger of being struck themselves while within a couple of meters of the tree, but the aura emanating from the strike would still be clearly felt and the scent of burning ozone would be noticeable.

If they were to move out from under the tree, they would notice that, dotting the landscape around them, small farm plots could be seen with each strike of lightning, though there did not seem to be any human inhabitants nearby to care for the farms. Wildlife had scattered as the pair were being brought in to the dungeon and, only if they were very careful to observe, would they notice the tree itself had a lone occupant, a small black crow that appeared completely nonplussed by the lightning strike. The bird would not move, it had frozen when the pair had appeared, but it would observe with beady, black eyes to see what the pair would do.

OOC Note: Players will have 48 hours to respond. If within an electromagnetic field, all movement speed will be halved (this includes with the use of any mounts, biological or otherwise). If struck by lightning, the player will suffer disorientation for a single post.

The usual happened when entering the dungeon. Nothing special aside from the land piecing itself together around Zadi and Ani as they officially stepped foot inside the dungeon. Zadi did feel a little less overwhelmed by the information he 'absorbed' from Yakuroro using Clairvoyance magic. Again though, Zadi would worry about that stuff after the dungeon run. For the time being, Zadi tried to concentrate on the surroundings and get his baring in order. Ani 'hired' Zadi after all.

Lightning struck the tree Ani and Zadi were placed underneath. Nothing happened to them or Hoyo, but Zadi had a bad feeling about staying near such an electrically charged tree, "Let's move out into the open, away from any tree. Burnt or not, the taller the object, the higher chance of being struck, or so I've read. Hoyo might want to keep is long neck lowered." Zadi moved out from under the tree and into an open area, hopefully with Ani and Hoyo in toe. Next thing to figure out was the location of the gate to the next area.

Fortunately, a clue to the next gate may have just flown their way! A beady-eyed, black feathered crow pearched itself near Ani and Zadi's position. Zadi thought back to Buer and how useful his charm was, so Zadi would attempt to use that very Wildman's Charm here, too;

"Excuse me, but do you happen to know the location of a gate?"

Zadi attempted to communicate with the crow. Perhaps this bird was smart enough to lead them to the next area? Or perhaps Zadi was wasting his time. Either which way, Zadi would learn if the animals here are worth speaking to. Granted, given the opportunity, Zadi would probably try again.

Hoyo didn't hesitate to escape from under the tree with Ani and Zadi his electroception giving him a tingling feeling. Ani looked around gaining a small idea about what kind of dungeon this was. If it was Hoyo would be helpful since he would be able to use his skills to sense the electricity in the life that would be within this dungeon. Soon enough Ani jumped off of Hoyo who was crawling around close to the ground trying to prevent the likely hood of getting struck by lightning.

She saw what Zadi was doing, and began to wonder if he could talk to beasts somehow. She let out a soft sigh and nodded softly as she looked around. "Hopefully that bird, or something can give us a hint on where we are supposed to go." She said with a slight nod standing near Zadi with Hoyo by her

The crow did not appreciate the intruder; it had frozen when the pair had entered the dungeon in the hopes that its presence would go unnoticed. Apparently, though, the magician approaching him had some sort of super-human ability to detect his presence and moved towards him. Even more awkward, the man began to speak to him and the crow could understand. At having its location noted, the bird was wary, it was not fond of being disturbed. It had been hoping the pair would simply go on their way, not approach. Agitated and uncaring of the man’s question, the crow flew off with loud cries that the magician would be able to tell meant:

INTRUDER! INTRUDER!

The bird disappeared, flying to the west with its warning cries, notifying every creature in its path of the possible danger. In the distance, a returned caw would let the pair know that something much larger than the small crow had heard the warning and was responding, but it was impossible to tell yet what the creature was, let alone if it was hostile, helpful, or simply curious. To the east, a howl cut across the plains, yet another possible option for the duo to investigate.

"Well sh*t. The crow considers us intruders. What's more, the ENTIRE dungeon now knows we are here. Well, very at least this section of the dungeon knows."

Zadi's skills as a detective may have helped spot the crow and his charm may have allowed Zadi to speak with said crow, but said crow didn't want anything to do with the 'intruders'. Granted, Ani and Zadi were both intruders, no doubt about it. Though making this much of a commotion in a dungeon is literally unheard of from Zadi's experience. Anyway, Zadi and Ani probably thought roughly the same thing; head for one of the booming howls. Only real question was; which booming howl?

"Maybe one of those howls is guarding the gate to the next area. You're the one in charge, so which howl would you prefer to visit?"

Zadi would follow whichever choice Ani decided upon, even if her choice didn't pertain to the howls.

Ani sighed softly as she saw the bird flying away from then letting out warning cries. As she watched she suspected that they should've just left the bird alone. She stood thee for a moment trying to think of what direction they went to. She was guessing that the noise that came from the west was an ally. "I'm only guessing, but the possibility that the noise from the west is an ally is high." She stated nodding softly. "Why would the bird go in the direction of an enemy?" She asked turning east. "This is only a guess, but I believe we should go east." She said as she got back on Hoyo and began walking east

The Imuchakk woman and the magician began moving towards the east, moving away from the crow that had screamed of intruders in the area. As the lightning flashed about the area, two shadows could be seen flying towards them just as the duo hit a pocket of electromagnetic energy, slowing everyone down, even Hoyo. The pocket would extend 20 meters to the front and sides of the duo and the massive crows would wait just at the edge of the field. While they were more than used to the quirks of the environment, it was more beneficial to simply wait and see how the intruders to their haven handled the challenge. Perhaps the small crow had overreacted to the strangers and the crows would have no need to defend. Or perhaps, the small crow had been correct and the pair needed to be eliminated. The Lightning Crows waited to see how the intruders handled the electromagnetic field before making any actions.

As Ani and Zadi made their way towards the eastward howl, they got caught in an electromagnetic field, halving their movement speed. The pressure was quite intense, but stranger still was two more crow-like creatures showing up but not attacking. This situation almost didn't make sense to Zadi;

"Are they waiting for lightning to strike us? Maybe these electric pockets signal a strike! But wait, I'm sure these electric crows are stronger than the lighting they dance around every day. Damn! I don't know what's going on!"

Zadi didn't want to waste time and magoi fighting these creatures, so he tried to think rationally one last time; These creatures live in this environment, they don't control it. Therefore they are either predicting lighting will strike Ani and Zadi or they are testing the trio's threat-level.

"Attacking will certainly start a fight, but waiting for the electromagnetic field to dissipate could get us struck by lightning. Well, my borg can protect me if things go south...maybe."

Having thought through everything within his mind's understanding, Zadi unsheathed his sword, raised it in the air so that he was 'taller' than Ani and Hoyo, and spoke to the crows using his charm, "We will NOT attack! We mean you no harm! Just tell us where the gate is and we will be on our way!"

Zadi risked the crows believing his sword to be a sign of attack before Zadi even started to speak, but Zadi didn't want a client to come into harm's way. That would put a mark on Zadi's so far perfect record. After all, Zadi is a damage sponge when it comes to dungeons! Other than Yakuroro, nobody has been hurt running a dungeon with Zadi!

Ani was surprised with the crows appeared in front of them in a group it surprising her. Though she watched and groaned slightly as she felt the electromagnetic field Hoyo also stopping as they watched the birds. Ani thought it would be great if they could get the animals on their side. After Zadi spoke she took a knee, and Hoyo lowered his head to show signs of peace and friendly intent to the crows. Ani watched them letting out a soft breath. She kept her stance not wanting them to become hostile. Though she was ready to move, or attack if it was needed.

The Crows cocked their head as Zadi raised his sword into the air, making him the tallest thing in the area, and spoke to them. It was a fairly foolish mistake, when lightning had been striking and the challengers had abandoned the safety the trees brought, so the crows were not the least bit surprised when lightning came crashing down. Drawn by the metal blade, the lightning struck the blade and traveled through Zadi, his companions close enough to suffer from the strike, even if Zadi chose to allow his borg to save him from disorientation.

While the crows had the basic understanding that Zadi had been attempting to communicate, the word Gate meant nothing to them. However, the foolishness of his actions had assured them that the screams from their small brethren had been premature. While Ani, Zadi and Hoyo might be intruders, they obviously posed no risk to them. With a chatter that Zadi might pick up as an unflattering mockery about his decision to raise metal in an area filled with lightning, the crows flew off to the east, unconcerned with the intruders. As they flew, they mustered out a few caws, relaying that there was no danger to all the creatures the first crow had alerted. Now all Zadi and Ani needed to decide was if they would continue to the east, where the Lightning Crows had flown, or to choose a different direction. Either way, it would take a bit for those suffering from disorientation to gather their bearings enough to make a decision.

Zadi became rather frustrated and felt like slaying on of the crows for Clairvoyance knowledge, but thinking about how fighting would only make this situation worse would caused Zadi to just stick with a simple, non-violent approach. While the crows were muttering, Zadi used Spriggan's Aura, got the biological tags of the crows, and then used Decipher in order to learn about this dungeon. Zadi used Decipher on both crows' signatures specifically to find out "which direction will lead to the next level of this dungeon". The wording in Zadi's head wasn't important. That much is clear. Clairvoyance magic doesn't rely on words; this complex magic relies on patterns in a being's rukh in order to decipher information from a certain span in time. Anything related to a gate, door, entrance, exit, or something abnormal will do just fine in Zadi's Clairvoyance search.

"So, let's see if I can't find this 'gate' the crows don't care about."

Zadi didn't forget about Ani. He looked down towards Ani and Hoyo only to notice they seemed to have gotten struck by the lightning. Zadi's borg seemed to be worthless against this lightning, absorbing almost nothing and only protecting Zadi. Zadi sheathed his sword, scratched his head, and "I thought my sword would absorb the imminent impact. Sorry about that. Oh, I also used real Clairvoyance Magic on the crows to try and find what we are looking for. Here's what I found out _______________________________."

When the lightning had struck Ani grit here teeth enduring it, but her and Hoyo were still obviously disoriented from the lightning strike. She rubbed her head slightly and was happy that the crows didn't mean to harm them, but she knew it was most likely because they seemed to foolish to them. As she stood there she leaned slightly against Hoyo while letting out a soft sigh trying to regain her composure. Hoyo was trying to do the same thing as he laid on the ground with his eyes closed.

She groaned and shook her head at Zadi's apology to tell him that it was fine. She listened to the information that he had gained and nodded softly as she let out a heavy breath. "Alright that's some pretty useful information, but I need you to lead the way." She said using Zadi to gain the right direction so they could begin travelling once again.

Zadi’s Clairvoyance spell had shown a general direction to go, along with a brief image of a windmill, before the crows had managed to fly away, cackling laughter. As the pair would travel, a path began to show itself, though it would not be blatant and would have no markers, aside from the occasional tree. As they passed the trees, they would see a myriad of wildlife taking shelter there, showing that the trees offered protection from the dangerous lightning striking down and emphasizing that being in the open could result in being struck once more.

No creatures would approach the trio, leaving the Imuchakk and the magician the chance to explore their surroundings a bit more or to simply continue on in silence. The windmill had not yet revealed itself and they would have to hope the information from the Crows was accurate. Given the lesser intelligence levels of the creatures and the fact that they traveled strictly by flying, it was no simple matter to just assume they were headed in the right direction.

"Wish I could just fly and spot the windmill, but its location wouldn't allow a simple look-see using Gravity Lift. We'll have to stick to this strange path, if nothing else."

Zadi lead the way as Ani wanted him to. With his borg, that was the right call. Granted, attacks from behind are just as likely, but at least Zadi's detective skills could spot anything amiss within his field of vision. Anyway, Zadi and Ani would walk the path in hopes of finding the windmill see using Clairvoyance magic. If the path split up into multiple directions, Zadi could at the very least use his memorization skills to figure out which way was east.

"Stay close. The lighting may not hurt us in the cover of these trees, but whatever else might live here could cause us harm. Though, that's a no-brainer. I'll just stay quiet and stop pointing out the obvious..."

She walked along the path humming slightly as she looked around. After seeing what happened earlier she walked along path staying close to trees whenever it was possible for them to do so. She waved to the animals giving them slight smiles using her body language to give a friendly vibe to each one that they passed. Though she looked around as they moved hoping to find the windmill soon enough.

"Just make sure to stay relaxed and close to the trees." She said chuckling slightly finding Zadi amusing. "If we stay relaxed and calm it will be easier for us to notice things, along with that it will allows us to appear friendly." Ani said with a soft smile. "Afterall we don't want to fight anything unnecessarily." She said not wishing to harm any of the nearby wild life unless they provided opposition to them, and even then she would take the peaceful option. After all allied dungeon creatures could be quite handy

The unusual pair wandered through the plains, sticking close to the trees. This allowed them to successfully avoid getting struck by lightning again and, as they walked, in the far distance, Zadi might be able to spot something vaguely familiar, the shadowy outline of a windmill. They would not be able to reach it too quickly, but their goal was in sight. A streak of lightning would brighten the dark sky just long enough for them to confirm it was, indeed, the windmill before the landscape was pitched in blackness once more. It seemed there was a light at the end of the tunnel, after all.

Zadi was able to spot a windmill, but knowing it was in plain-ish view, Zadi didn't bother to tell Ani about it and just pointed while looking at Ani. Zadi then noticed Ani's posture and body language. Kind of odd to look so friendly in front of wild animals, but Zadi understood the reasoning. Better to look friendly than to look vicious. Anyway, Zadi looked at Ani and pointed at the shadowy figure of a windmill, only moments before lightning struck through the sky and confirmed the shadowy silhouette as the windmill Zadi saw. Now THIS was something to talk about;

"Yup, looks like the windmill I saw using Clairvoyance magic. Careful though, may just be a trick."

Indeed, this windmill could be a trick to begin with. Perhaps it would eat Zadi and Ani the moment they tried to get close. Anything is possible in a dungeon and the experienced pair knew it. Zadi kept his guard up as they approached while trying to look friendly as well. Probably didn't work to look friendly and have one's guard up at the same time, but at least Zadi tried.

Ani was happy when she saw the windmill in the distance, but knew there was always the possibility that it was a trap created by the dungeon. It was also their only hint towards the gate they needed to reach. She thought about it for a moment before turning to Zadi letting out a slight sigh of relief. "Let's approach it, but keep our eyes covered in case something might try and harm us as we make our way across." She said nodding to him before she began to cautiously approach the windmill with Hoyo by her side. Hopefully the windmill would be safe and would lead them to the next area.

As the two walked, they would see the windmill come into view much more clearly, along with what might be considered the guardian of the structure. Slumbering in front of the only entrance to the windmill were two Lightning Wolves. The sound of approaching footsteps would make their ears perk up and their eyes slide open so they could see what was coming. As Ani and Zadi came closer and made it apparently they did not intend to just pass on by, the wolves would stand at attention, waiting for the challengers to act.

Ani and Zadi arrived at the windmill. Easy enough to get there, but getting inside is yet another task. Two wolves seemed to be guarding the windmill, seemingly unafraid of Ani, Zadi, and Hoyo. However, the wolves did not attack just yet. Perhaps they could be charmed using Zadi's Wildman Charm;

"My name is Zadi. Her name is Ani and her companion is named Hoyo. I assume you are guarding this windmill either from being harmed or being entered. Perhaps both. The three of us don't want to fight, but we also want to enter the windmill. Ani didn't show any aggression as one never knew when a beast in the dungeon would be helpful, or harmful to a person. She gave a passive nod to signify friendship before looking to Hoyo whom was sitting down to tell the other beasts he was not hostile. No matter what though Ani wished to go inside the windmill since it was the only hint towards the location of the gate to get to the next area.

"Hopefully they might help us out." Ani said nodding slightly as she looked to Zadi out of the corner of her eye. Ani knew that dungeons were tiring and this one seemed to pose a few dangers. She wanted to converse her energy until it was absolutely necessary for her to fight.

The wolves cocked their head to the side as Zadi spoke, grasping only the most basic concept of what Zadi was trying to communicate. It seemed the magician overestimated the ability of his Wildman charm; while it did allow basic communication, if the creatures did not have his human intelligence, there would be no way for them to truly grasp what he was saying. The creatures managed to catch words like ‘battle’ and ‘compromise’, along with the words associated with each of the creatures standing before them. While the blue-haired creature, the Ani, seemed to have a friendly smile, she kept a creature as her slave. And the Zadi-creature made very little sense, spouting words about compromise and battle, neither of which they understood.

The lack of comprehension, though the tone was not hostile, made them wary of the Zadi-creature. He did not have the friendly smile of the beast-slaver, so they did not know if they should attack or stand to the side.

Zadi lost his patience with the creatures of this area. They were extremely frustrating and confusing to 'work' with. They didn't communicate back to Zadi or Hoyo nor do anything for that matter. They just kept staring. Zadi thought back to Buer and how the djinn didn't like Zadi lying but didn't mind Chimera and Zadi killing all those dungeon creatures. In fact, no dungeon has considered the slaughter of their creatures to be all that terrible. Therefore, Zadi decided to just attack the two wolves and get this charade over with.

Zadi sighed, touched Dream Infiltrator and fired a Nightmare Bullet towards the wolf on Zadi's right at 25 m/s. However, Zadi wasn't finished; the magician simultaneously sent out his Summoned Butler at 25 m/s towards the wolf on Zadi's left through the use of Spriggan's Call. Both A-tier abilities were some of the strongest in Zadi's overall arsenal. With how unintelligent these wolves acted, it was only a matter of time before Ani and Zadi entered the windmill. Granted, Ani probably didn't approve of this farce, but Zadi's job is still to get her safely to the end of the dungeon.

With Zadi and Ani within natural speaking distance of the wolves, the two A-tier spells would likely make it to their intended targets in less than a second. Zadi's composure looked annoyed if anything. Hostile or not is up to the wolves to discern.

It seemed, even with all of Zadi’s detective skills, he had no idea how to judge the creatures around him enough to gauge how to communicate properly. In his frustration, he lashed out with violence, both the Nightmare Bullet and Summoned Butler hit their mark with the individual wolves, striking them down before they had a chance to comprehend what was going on. While the wolves had been hoping to avoid combat, their lack of intelligence had been their downfall and the canine creatures fell to the ground, giving howls of pain as they died. The path into the windmill was clear, allowing Ani and Zadi the chance to enter.

Once inside, they would find it looked much larger on the inside that the outside. Across the room was a massive door inlaid with two hand prints. In the center of the room, between the entrance and the massive door, was a small table and, on the table, a small stone with a lightning bolt etched into it. The lightning bolt was etched in purple. Aside from this, the room was completely empty.
