The pair of young men would feel their bodies get consumed by the weary winds, as if they were rolled into a blanket of cold. As they touched the podium they would feel their bodies being pulled away, their bodies started to feel as if they were being frozen over. It became harder to see anything by the second for their vision was clouded by ice as if they were being trapped inside of it. The numbness running over them as their bodies felt as if they were moved to a different location, like the ice they were in drifted from their previous location to some strange new place. Soon they would break free, the ice began to crack before dispersing revealing the place they had arrived at.

As they looked around they would notice that they were standing on a massive hunk of ice, looking over the sides they would see an endless expanse of snow. A blizzard raged on, the winds strong, wailing like a banshee, he snow freezing cold but the pair would find their combat area gave off an aura of melancholy. Even though it was a place of combat there was no real sense of bloodlust in the area. It was just a place of sadness, everything feeling so wrong. It was as if terrible things had happened here long ago, but instead of leaving they roamed making an inhospital tundra.

The timer that loomed above their head showed the number 120 counting down by the second. It was obvious this was to mark something so the contestants would have time to prepare and examine the area, though they already knew there was not much to see. The clock would hit zero causing the numbers to change to the words round two, as this happened moaning could be heard over the raging storm.

OOC: There will be no time limit for this post as this is just meant to be an introduction to the area of combat helping to give you a grasp of the area you'll be fighting in. After this every round will be on a normal posting time that will not stop until a break or till the battle is over.

Val can feels the cold winds passing his face. Val opens his eyes and looks around. The only thing he can see is snow and a weird timer at the top which says 120. Val sighed and looked to the left of him to see Lance. He taps him on the shoulder. "So I will start to look around. Do you want to come with me before I leave?" Val then makes sure he has his equipment with him. He doesn't really care what Lance will say but he does not know anything about him and he has a very scary vibe about him.

Lance grunted a bit as he opened his eyes to harsh winds hitting his face. It was freezing cold even with his jacket. He sighed "Where am I now..." he muttered to himself as he felt a tap on his shoulder. He swung around on his heels and immediately remembered touching the pedestal with this man. He listened to Val ask if he wanted to come with him to have a look around. Lance smiled a bit at the offer and nodded "Yes, That would be wise." he said in a soft tone as he gave off a more gentle vibe now than he did before. As he walked he placed his hands in his jean pockets and kept his staff strapped onto his back. He glanced at Val out of the corner of his eye "So... You said your name was Val?" The white haired mage said with a smile as he walked calmly.

The storm raged on making it hard to hear but in the distance they could see a group of enemies approaching them. The shadowy figures walked forward, their appearances soon being revealed through the snow. Approaching them was a group of strange white entities. They were the size of normal people and had faces like normal people but it like looked as if they were made from white powdery substance. It was also strange as how when they walked they let out loud ghastly wails. Glistening when the occasionally beam of light penetrated through the snowstorm, the slight glean they gave off was a sign they were made of snow. Their eyes seemed crystalline, they were orbs of shining ice that reflected the little light seamlessly.

The snowy white stopped when they were 15m away from them, they each stood 5m apart from each other with the two in the middle being right across from Val and Lance. They would the charge forward against the raging winds in attempt to hurt them. As they were all running at about 10m away all four of them use breath of frost. Their attacks wouldn't do anymore damage but they connected making a massive wall of snowy air that would cover the area. If they did not clash of protect themselves from it they would find it hard to see. The white snowy wall would give them the advantage as long as they stayed within it.

Val was going to answer Lance's question, util creatures from the the ground came up. Val is shocked by this, however he has no time to think. Then the snowmen use a fog attack for Val. Val looks at the fog with confusion. This does not look harmful however it looks very thick. Val needed to clash with this so he draws his sword and rushes to the fog. He uses his Faerie Dance to get through the mist.
If this works, then he would use psyche on the man of the snow on the right and then four basic slashes to the other man of the snow on the left. So now Val has attacked 2 people, hoping Lance could take care of the rest.

Lance narrowed his eyes off to the horizon and saw shapes of figures coming at them. He instantly reached for Vaurdul, his staff, and gripped the wooden frame tightly in his hand. He ran his fingers up and down the grooves of the staff before taking a deep breath and focusing his concentration on the snowmen. He gently let out a chuckle and spoke "Looks like things are about to get a bit heated..." he said to the monsters. When they let out the fog he jumped back a bit and out of the radius.

He couldn't see anything at this point and decided to clash with it as well when he saw Val head on into it. He closed his eyes and cast Fiery Aura. The air around his body started to heat up as flames started to push away from his body and into the mist as he ventured on into it. When he got deep enough he saw that Val had already taken down two of the snow men. He smiled "Thats what I like in a team." he thought to himself as he faced the two remaining snowmen.

He thought about casting another spell for a second but he could sense that these creatures were not worth his time. Instead of casting an extra spell he sustained Feiry Aura and pushed flames off of him towards the snow people. The flames hit the snow men with a puff of both snow and smoke. When the coast was clear he scratched the back of his head and chuckled "People made of snow... Whats next evil goblin elves?" he laughed out loud but kept his staff at his side just in case.
