Vavantine, the Lotus Knight Lucina___fire_emblem_awakening_by_lucidsky-d7kuftp
Name: Vavantine
Country Affiliation: Imuchakk
Race: Imuchakk
Tier: D
Specialization: Strength
Age + Birthdate: 19 + August 6
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Heterosexual
Personality: Vavantine was raised to be courteous, though she does not act like those born or raised on royalty or nobility. She is also trusting, honest, and loyal, which are three traits she prides herself for having since she believes they are key for being a good friend and ally. In terms of battle, Vavantine is logical, observant, and optimistic. She doesn't see the need to rush into a fight blindly, without a plan, and finds that a positive outlook on the future can be a great stimulus for those who are a bit distraught. She also keeps her emotions out of making important battle decisions since they could jeopardize an entire mission.

In public, the young Imuchakk is curious about many things, especially about the customs of foreign countries.  Her young age allows her to be a risk-taker, which can blend into her flirtatious ways. She is quite the romantic, and is affectionate, though her affection can span over multiple subjects. She still has some self-control, so she doesn't normally go over the line when flirting since there is a time and place for everything.

Vavantine is always happy and free-spirited. There has hardly been anything to chain her down. She keeps her head held high as she looks toward the future, hopeful that peace will become a reality and fighting is no longer a necessity.
Likes:

 • Fighting - Vavantine, being raised in a warrior family, was taught to embrace fighting, however she loves the adrenaline it gives her.
 • Truth & Loyalty - Truth goes hand in hand with loyalty to the young Imuchakk and believes that without the two, there can't be a solid relationship.
 • Reading - Reading always fascinated her, even as a young child, and the book she always use to read consisted of adventure.
 • Good - The idea of good, despite being an individual's perspective, is something Vavantine clings to. She has the notion that good will always triumph over evil

Dislikes:

 • Evil - Since evil is the opposite of good and is the concept she fights against, Vavantine dislikes evil people or even evil intentions.
 • Unhonorable Actions - Unhonorable actions such as fleeing a battle before it begins

Aspirations: Vavantine is a simple warrior, wanting only to serve a King with good intentions. Though she has had dreams of being a ruler, she believes she would be better suited as a military leader due to her family history as a strong warrior name. She intends to train as hard as she can, and eventually wishes to earn the trust of a great leader, one whom she can trust and is able to trust her in return. Money has little meaning to her, though it is not something that she simply tosses aside.
Phobias/fears:

 • Claustrophobia - The fear of in confined spaces originated when Vavantine was just a small child, about thirteen to fourteen years ago. Her father was off training and her mother was cooking dinner for the night. Little Vavantine wandered off, as most young, curious children do, and roamed the frosty wilderness. She had only been gone for an hour at most, but time was hard to tell, and she slipped, falling into a cramped, dark ice cavern. She couldn't move or else she would become more trapped than she already was. Vavantine stayed down in her icy confines for a few hours before her tribe found her.
 • Kakorrhaphiophobia- Vavantine's pride as a warrior is what gives her the fear of failure or defeat. She doesn't want to let anyone down, and the slightest mistake can shake her core until she finds the resolve to fight..

Face-Claim: Lucina (Fire Emblem: Awakening)
Hair Color: Blue
Eye Color: Blue
Height: 198.12 cm
Weight: 81.6466 kg
Appearance: Vavantine is a beautiful, young Imuchakk warrior. As such, she is well-built, but not overly bulky and still maintains a rather feminine physique. Her blue hair is long and her eyes are the exact same shade, though many compare her eyes to those of sapphires. Her attire consists of blue or white. Her uniform is blue, complete with a cape that is red on the inside and acts as a scarf, a pair of long boots that can be black, brown,or white, and a mask that conceals the upper portion of her face.

Without he uniform, Vavantine looks like a normal Imuchakk girl and certainly acts like one as well. Her smiling is dazzling, matching her light, carefree laugh, and her eyes always glitter with kindness. On her head, she wears a gold or silver tiara, though she is not of royal blood.
Rukh Alignment: White
Special Traits: None
History: Vantine was born to two Imuchakk parents; her mother was named Yulilia, and her father was named Klimement. Both of her parents were outstanding warriors, the best in their tribe some would say, and when they had a daughter, they would train her to carry on the family name, the art of being a noble warrior. The family, though small in number and vastly ignored, had a long history of protecting the tribe, as well as others, when they needed protection the most, however their last names were always anonymous. The only name they went by was the Sapphire Templar, and each member of the family went by a specific title based on their personality and passage into adulthood.

On the eve of her birth, it was strangely calm. The sky was crystal clear with no sign of any blizzards, and the sea of stars twinkled overhead, as if it were a sign from a higher power that this little girl had a bright future ahead of her. Her mother and father were overjoyed, along with the other members of the family, and were instantly awed by the new bundle of joy.

Little Vantine went beyond her family's expectations though as she grew up. She was always kind, always smiled, and some thought she was as beautiful as a white lotus even at her young age. Her father noticed her interest in fighting at the early age of five, as well as her keen interest in the outside world, and after much pleading from his daughter, he relented and taught her daughter the warrior life that had been passed down from parent to child. Vavantine caught on quickly. Some would even say she was a young prodigy, but all she tried to do was make her family proud.

By age fourteen, Vantine went through the passage to adulthood, about a year before many of the other Imuchakk youths of her generation did. During the battle, she expressed calmness, elegance, assertiveness, and cunning, all which aided her in defeating the small Rampaging Unicorn. Her performance earned her the name Vavantine within the Imuchakk race and the Lotus Knight within her family group.

Vavantine continued her training with her newly forged sword, Silver Lament. She even continued to read, hearing about the unrest with Kou and Reim, and the King of Reim who had saved souls from the life of pain and servitude. Ever since reading of other lands, the young Imuchakk has wished to travel abroad and meet the heroes she read about in her stories, or at least visit the countries that the stories took place. However, she is currently in Imuchakk, attempting to further prove her worth and hopefully gain approval to travel outside of Imuchakk.
Role-Play Sample:
Adrastos stood in the Plains as the sky was painted with glorious shades of salmon pink, majestic yellow, soothing violet, and calming black. There was a gentle breeze that entangled its invisible fingers through the ever swaying grass and the magician's soft silver mane. His piercing silver eyes examined the sky above with a neutral expression while his mind played back the events that had occurred the previous day. Adrastos had actually defeated his own master. Pride swelled within him at the thought and the result of yesterday's brief battle. The final words his master uttered were, "Meet me back here tomorrow night. Your training will continue then." They solidified his future and once possible training, but why did Adrastos feel a sense of unease clawing at his soul, attempting to yank him down a deep, dark, endless abyss?

The young magician couldn't help but feel that the whole situation was odd. His master hardly ever talked, but last time, he was over talkative. Why?  Adrastos place a hand over half of his face before letting out a sigh. The memories that had been unlocked refused to be locked away. All the pain and suffering was still there. The vile weakness that dared to plague his past and taint his future. Damn that old man for releasing such foul thoughts. However, what really made the magician curious was the black light that he had conjured. How did he do it? The memory has hazy, just a fuzzy image that couldn't be deciphered. Rage was the only emotion that would connect with the obscured memory. That was all the silver-haired man could cling to. The rustling of grass caused Adrastos to turn his head. Before his eyes stood the old man, his master, in his typical wine colored robes that was laced with black and gold trim. His face still sagged with age, but there were no signs of burns. Did he heal himself or ask someone else to heal him? Adrastos waited to be addressed by his master, but no words slipped past those pale lips of his. What happened to all his talk the other day?

"Well? What now? You said my training would begin, so what do you plan on doing?" Adrastos turned away to look at the setting sun that had now dipped below the cover of the earth's horizon. He waited silently for the old man's answer, but as the seconds droned on, there was only silence. The silver-haired man clenched his teeth together tightly while impatience gnawed at him. Speak already!!! With no response after what felt like an eternity, Adrastos turned, his nostrils flaring and his eyes sharps as broken glass. He grabbed Master Chou Zhi by the collar of his robe and pulled him violently forward. "Answer me, damn it! You were in love with hearing your own voice yesterday! what happened to that huh? Did you get scared after I burned you?! Did you lose all of your confidence, old man?!"

Instantly there was a crackling sound that resonated from Chou Zhi's staff, which now touched the young magician's chest. When did that get there? How long has he had that there? Sparks flew around the orb that decorated the top of his master's staff, then electricity coursed through Adrastos' body, and the shock sent him flying backwards. His limbs twitched uncontrollably as he laid upon the ground, stunned beyond belief but mostly angry like a raging typhoon. "Damn you..."

Adrastos clutched his staff securely as he struggled to rise to his feet, but he did not get far. Another bolt of lightning was directed toward him, knocking his to his knees once more. The color crimson hugged the edge of Adrastos' vision just as it had the other day. The young mage stood, wielding his staff in one hand as he swayed slightly, and then erupted with a cry.

The blue mage charged, his eyes frozen fire that swirled with fury, and cast a slew of spells at his master once he was at least 10m away. Aqua Bulla was first, followed by Aqua FluctusGlacies Spica, and Aqua Canno. A 5m sphere of water was hurled at Chou Zhi, and was immediately followed by a 5m wide wave, an ice shard, and a horizontal pillar of high pressurized water. All the attacks were blocked by Chou Zhi's borg without so much as a scratch in the construct. Chou Zhi attacked with his own spells which mostly consisted of lightning, and at the last moment, Adrastos used Gravity Lift I, avoiding the bolts while propelling himself into the air.

"Is that all you have to offer, master?" Adrastos sneered with a slanted smirk. He commanded the rukh to form two swirling water cyclones, a spell which was named Aqua Cyclonas, that roared across the ground as loud as their caster's rage. They spiraled and surrounded their target on either side, but Adrastos did not stall and watch. He cast Lux Tenebris Fulgeo which sent a 5m beam of black light similar to that of Nemesis Sol, toward Chou Zhi as the cyclones closed in. However, these spells were blocked by a spell cast by Master Chou Zhi.

Adrastos looked down at his master who stood below looking at him with an expressionless face that somehow mocked him. The young magician tightened his grip on his staff as his hands trembled. Kill him. Kill him. Kill him. He has no right to look at me with such eyes. A light chuckle slithered its way out of his mouth as it turned into a hysterical cry of laughter. Die. Die. Just die. He has no place within my world. He is nothing. He must die along with everyone else who dares to look at me like that. "Stop looking at me with those disgusting eyes! You're not worthy to look at me! I am Adrastos Thanatos! I am the Undaunted God of Death! All those who oppose me shall die by my hand!" Adrastos pointed his staff at Master Chou Zhi. "You are no exception, old man. I will become the God of Death in this world and make everyone suffer. You'll see..." Adrastos tilted his head. "Or perhaps you won't," he mused with a small chuckle. "You can witness my reign as you grovel in the afterlife!"

Adrastos swooped down like a bird diving to catch its prey. He cast Aqua Cyclonas II and watched as four wild cyclones surrounded Chou Zhi. You won't escape. I won't let you. Not like last time. Glacialis Lamnia was cast and Adrastos swung the frozen ice blade in a downward strike. Then, he cast Nemesis Sol and watched as all his spells make contact with his target. Or at least that's what it seemed like what happened.

Once the smoke cleared, the expected remains of Master Chou Zhi were nowhere to be seen. Adrastos narrowed his eyes as he wondered how the old man could have evaded the attacks thus far. Was he toying with him? Was he just lucky yesterday? Perhaps Chou Zhi didn't even try. If that was the case, then why?

Out of no where almost, a light spell hit Adrastos in the back, sending him tumbling through the air as if he were falling down a flight of stairs. The novice mage turned to see Master Chou Zhi floating in the air with his own Gravity Lift completely unscathed. Adrastos' eyes widened a bit with surprise, unable to understand how he was still unwounded. "But how?!" The corner of the old man's lips twitched for a millisecond. "You are blind," he croaked. "Fooled by your own name, thinking that "Thanatos" gives you any real power. You are a pawn, boy. That is all you ever will be. It's time you learn your place."

Chou Zhi lifted his staff and a rope of light extended from the top of it. He swung the rope of light at Adrastos who tried to get out of the way, but it was too fast for him to avoid. It snaked its way around his legs, burning his pants to charred scraps and searing his flesh. Adrastos screamed, clutching his staff as a lifeline to get him through the burning pain in his legs which soon turned into a painful numbness. His master threw the young mage to the ground violently so that a small crater formed upon impact and his staff was thrown into the air, away from its owner. Blood spewed from the silver-haired man's mouth and the breath was snatched right out of his lungs. He couldn't feel his legs at all. Dark crimson began to swallow his vision as he gazed upward at the floating figure above. It looked almost like an angel of darkness filled with raw power that loomed overhead. That should be me. Not him. That should be me... Adrastos felt his jaw lock in place. I'll take that power for my own. I'll tear it away from him...

He groaned, forcing himself to stand, to have the will to continue to fight, but he never had the chance to pull himself an inch off the ground since four rods of lightning stabbed through his arms and legs, one in each limb. Another cry pierced the night while Adrastos thrashed around in agony. The movement only made the pain worse as the wounds increased in size. Soon, the young magician found himself laying in a pool of his own blood. "Who are you?" asked Chou Zhi as he hovered a few meters above, staring down at his student who now was a pitiful animal trapped in a cage.

"I am... Adrastos Thanatos... Former slave... former Reim... present Kou... future king..." Chou Zhi shook his head. "Wrong answer." A pair of lightning rods embedded themselves into Adrastos' body, this time in his shoulder, and released a shock that made his lose feeling in his arms. Spots appeared in his vision and his mind swam in quicksand. More rods used Adrastos' limbs as their sheaths, sending electricity coursing through every nerve. An endless scream burst through his mouth. The pain was too much. Make it stop. "Who are you?"

Did Chou Zhi stop attacking? Why was everything so numb? "Who are you?" Adrastos opened his blood filled mouth and spat out whatever he could so that he could speak. "Who am I...?" His head lolled to the side. His vision was completely black so he could see nothing. "I am... nothing... yet..." Adrastos could hear the rukh speaking to his as they had when he trained in the past. "I can be anyone," he said, repeating the words that floated into his ears. "I am everyone and I am nobody... Adrastos... Neo... slave... king... mortal... god..."

Adrastos listened to the rukh around his as they whispered more secrets into his mind. He imagined light around him and pictured Chou Zhi in his mind. Then, he commanded the rukh that whispered to him and they twisted the light to alter his outward appearance to look like his master, a spell that would be named Thanatos Persona. "I am me and I am you..." He commanded the rukh to change his outward appearance into that of a girl with long pink hair and pink eyes as well as several other appearances that differed greatly. A small, sinister smirk could be seen. "I will be the one who brings darkness and chaos into this world... I will take on many forms and unleash death upon those who defy the previous Kou Empire... I am everyone..."

Adrastos felt the spell dissipate and all he did was lay there with the rods of lightning still jutting out from his body until suddenly, they were no longer there. "Congratulations, you have taken your first step into darkness." Most of the memories from the fight had been erased due to the intense agony that had been inflicted. Regardless, relief washed over the young magician as he heard a chorus of voices speaking inside of is mind, each with their own agenda yet somehow shared a common goal: to rise up and become a king of darkness no matter the cost. Those were the last thoughts the blue magician had before drowning in the sea of unconsciousness.
