"Wha-" As Yakuroro began to feel himself being sucked into the dungeon, he panicked and struggled but it was already too late. At first he could see and feel nothing before suddenly he had the sensation falling...no, being pulled through the air at high speeds. The Imuchakk's blue hair and robes danced wildly in the wind as Yakuroro gaped in awe. "What's going on!?" He shouted to his friend as they were pulled through the golden beam past brilliant stars and constellations. Yakuroro didn't know what he saw, but he knew that it was magnificent and likely magical in nature. A grin took over his expression as the blue magician's excitement grew. Suddenly, the golden guiding light ended bringing them to another gate. Then nothing...
"Nnngg...."" Yakuroro grunted as he awoke from black unconsciousness to find himself on a stone path in the middle of a great hall. Two guardian statues ominously stood guard before a central ring in the center. From here, Yakuroro wasn't able to see much else beyond as the ring was elevated and distance. To either side of the stone path were seemingly bottomless pits with only darkness waiting below. As Yaku peered over one edge he could have sworn he saw things moving in the shadows and quickly pulled his head back after getting the sensation that the darkness was about to reach up and drag him down into its depths.
This scare brought Yakuroro to look around and notice Zadi unconscious near where he had awoken. Both of their staffs where there too so it was unlikely someone captured them and brought them here. Was that strange golden light even real? As the Imuchakk struggled with this doubts about the situation he reclaimed his staff and began poking Zadi. "Hey....hey Zadi...heeeeeeeeey~" The prodding was gentle enough to not hurt, but Yaku was doing it right on Zadi's face to hopefully wake him. Once up, Yakuroro would poke him one last time so he would look at the head of Yaku's staff. The blue mage then gestured that staff towards their surroundings so Zadi could see the grand room they were in. "Look, I think we're inside..." He then gestured to the large platform ahead, "I don't see any sort of exit from here. That ring up ahead has stairs and some light shining on it. Maybe we can get a better view from there."
With his suggestion made and no real alternative options available, Yakuroro began walking deeper into Marax while looking around the architecture. "Strange...this looks like it was built by Zou engineers in some places, but most of this is unlike any structure I've ever seen before...how could they have built such massive things without them being crushed under their own weight?" There was a definite hint of excitement in Yaku's voice as he looked around in wonder.
