Merrze was walking down the street, she had been searching for a group of slavers that had kidnapped a nobleman's daughters. She had heard a rumour that they were taken somewhere in the area where she was. It was that a group of strange men where hiding out in a old shack that is about a mile away from the city. She could see the shack in the distance, it seemed to only be about one more mile away from where she was. She needed a strategy, she could just break in or try to pretend to be a fellow slaver. In the end she would probably just bust right in and fight the slavers right away and take the children back home to their parents. She sighed then said "Strategy really isn't my strong suit, I should just take them out right away." She pounded her fist together."I won't let a single one of those bandits get away from me."

She was hyped to be able to help people and take care of this scum on the earth. Why did there have to be people that are so selfish and evil. She was going to make these evil people pay for the type of stuff that they were doing. She was glad that she was going to be getting this reward for taking out the kidnappers. With something like this she would have done it for fir free but hey, she could always use the pocket change, she surely would need it in order to live after all. When she first accepted the job she was hesitant because she doesn't like mos nobles but this family seemed nice and just wanted their children back as quick as possible "Alright, time to go take out some baddies." she said this as she sprinted towards the small shack.

Ayero had accepted a job she found newly posted on the job board that morning. The flyer described the four daughters kidnapped from a nobleman’s home the night before, and had a sense of urgency in its wording. Those who had done the deed were described as men who once participated in the legal slave trade, but had their business forced underground after it became outlawed in Reim. While she disliked all bandits and thieves equally, she held a special place of contempt in her heart for slavers. Stealing a person’s property was one thing, but stealing another’s life was something far worse, at least to her. Having her family touched by the cruel hand of slavery didn’t help her feelings about it either.

When she met with the father of the girls in order to take the job, she felt a pang of sympathy in her heart for the man. She learned that during the pillage, the ruffians had taken some gold and valuables along with the women. But the father claimed not to care about the material wealth, pleading with the woman to bring his girls back safely. He informed her that he’d hired another person to take on the job, but had accepted Ayero’s help as he wanted to be extra certain that his daughters would be rescued. Vowing silently to not let another family be broken up by slavery, Ayero set out towards where witnesses last saw the men heading.

She followed the path for a while until she came upon a shack. Before she could properly scope the place out, another redheaded girl ran for the building. Raising a brow, Ayero waited until she was inside before creeping up to the side of the building. That must be the other person he hired… She unsheathed her sword and flattened herself against the side of the building, inching towards the entrance. If what she saw was correct, then the person who had entered was also of Fanalis descent. And if this was where those slave traders were hiding, then she predicted this job would be accomplished fairly easily with two Fanalis. Waiting close to the door, the swordswoman remained still as stone. Only when she heard the sounds of fighting would she enter the fray herself.

She was ready to attack the ruffians now. She remembered when she was kidnapped as a child and was almost forced into slavery. She didn't want any children to experience the same pain that she had to feel as a child. She kicked down the door with all of her might and walked into to see the girl's in a corner tied up and four men sitting at a table and playing some sort of game. She smirked and said. "Alright you sly son's of bitches it's time that someone teaches that it's wrong to take people without their permission."They didn't look that tough but there were more of them and they were in a closed area. She wished she had some help, she could probably take a few of them out but they could probably overwhelm her very quickly. She looked around and decided her best move would be to knock one of them out and lead the rest o them out into the open. One of the guys stood up and yelled.

"HAH, little girl you think you can take any of us out, I think you need to learn a lesson. Maybe I should kill you or we can make you a slave like these girls are going to be." The man lifted up his blade and went to strike her. She dodged the hit and said. "Nice move big guy but you weren't quick enough to hit me."She punched him once in the throat and once in chest. He quickly tumbled to the ground but now the other guys were surrounding her. She lept back out into the wide area and the men followed her outside. One of them said "We're gonna kill ya now girl, no one hurts one of are crew and get's away with it."She had to find away to take these other guys out. She drew her sword then said in a cocky tone. "Alright you punks, why don't you try and take me out, or are y'all just a bunch of cowards who kidnap people because they can't do anything right."She was hoping to make them mad so they wouldn't think straight but, she just might have made things worse for herself.

Job Details~:

Ayero was nearly ready to enter the building when she heard the girl’s voice as she spoke to the building’s occupants. After what seemed like a heated exchange, her body tensed as she heard the sound of Merrze’s fist making contact with something, and the subsequent sounds of a person in pain. She had planned to enter the fray when it was underway, in order to take their targets by surprise and ensure that they would be subdued. But it was only a moment later when the other Fanalis burst from the house, three men brandishing swords trailing her. Ayero raised a brow as the young woman drew her own sword before throwing an insult at them. A flicker of a grin passed over her face at this. Though she seemed a bit cocky, at least the girl was smart, having lead the men out into the open rather than do battle within the shack where the missing girls likely were.

”She’s right, you know. Only the lowest of the low peddle human lives.” Sliding her blade from its sheath, Ayero moves forward to the point where she’d be standing behind the slavers on the opposite side of Merrze. Moving into an offensive stance, the Fanalis woman looks over each of the slavers with a hardened look on her face. ”Give us the captured girls, and you will be spared.” Though it would be nice to get the job done without much bloodshed, Ayero could feel her pulse pounding against her veins in anticipation. She despised slave traders, and she would honestly prefer to slay them rather than let them walk away. She knew that it was unlikely that they would accept her offer anyway.

At the appearance of the second Fanalis, one of the slavers raises a brow in thought. He wasn’t considering her offer, but rather what good fortune that they had stumbled upon two Fanalis women. Surely they would fetch a high price, once subdued. The man next to him was not so sure, shifting on his feet as he recalled the way the younger Fanalis took out his comrade with only a few well-placed punches. ”How generous of you. Unfortunately, we have other plans.” Gesturing to the man next to him, he speaks again. ”You and I will take this one. Looks like we’ll be retiring early, boys!” The man laughed and lunged towards Ayero, his partner doing the same but coming in from the side.

Seeing her opponents charge toward her, Ayero felt as if someone had lit a fire in her blood. She often tried to suppress her Fanalis instincts and fight smart, but the adrenaline rush was too powerful for her to ignore. Noting the positions of the two men as they approached her rapidly, she solidifies her stance. She ducks as the first man swipes at her, raising her blade to Parry the Deep Impact that came from the side. She grunts as she forces the man’s blade up and away from her, attempting to counter immediately with a slash of her own while simultaneously raising her armored leg up in an attempt to block any damage from the other slaver. As she brings down her sword in a vertical strike, the slaver deflects it with a Basic Parry of his own while the other follows up with an attempted Deep Impact. The slaver’s blade would meet her Thigh of Steel, effectively blocking the attack.

Growing frustrated with how well the pair of men seemed to fight together, Ayero performs a Drop Roll by lowering her center of gravity and dropping to the ground. She rolls behind the man who had just parried her strike as he prepared to administer another attack, springing upwards and delivering a slash across his upper back. The stricken slaver gaps and gurgles in pain from the deep wound, slumping towards the ground as his body begins to drain of blood.

Taking advantage of the Fanalis woman’s distraction with his partner, the second slaver raises his sword and delivers a Deep Impact to the swordswoman’s side. ”Kkttt…!” Ayero grimaces and lurches from the impact, reaching down to hold the cut at her waist. It was not a very bad wound, but had surprised the Fanalis enough. She pivots on her foot while reeling her sword back before jabbing it into her assailant’s chest with a Fierce Jab. The man gasps and clutches at his chest as the woman’s sword punctures his lung, collapsing when she withdraws her blade.

Breathing a bit heavy from all of the movement, Ayero sweeps her gaze over the injured bandits to confirm that they were indeed too hurt to attack further. With that accomplished, she looks over to see how the other woman was faring with her opponent.

She noticed the other fanalis who had just showed up. The other two guys had reverted their attention from her and had started paying attention to the other girl. She looked tough and she definitely was. She was wounded by the two man but she still easily took them down. She admired her skill but she guessed this would be the time for her to show off some of her skills to the stranger who decided to join the fray and help out. It was good that she had joined, she was thankful for the help because she wasn't sure if she could take out all four of them by herself. The last slaver left charged at her and struck with a deep impact.

She moved out of the way but the attack hit her leg slightly wounding her as she tried to avoid the attack. He wasn't that fast so that was good for her. She rolled and got behind him, she grabbed him and threw him backwards to gain some distance from the man. The throw seemed to damage him a little which was good for her. That means her signature move would surely take him down. The strike to her leg was making her adrenaline flow and her fanalis rage was building up inside of her. She was probably going to hurt him much more then she should but whatever happens happens. "I'm going to show you hell for taking these innocent people and hurting them just so you know Mr.Slaver." She had got into a stance and was ready to charge at him. She gave a deadly grin. She couldn't hold back her instinct to harm this man. The fact that they kidnapped people and were going to sell them plus her rage didn't really help either

"Alright time for you to go beddy bye." She stared him down then yelled. "Fanalis Hurricane" She rushed at the man with her full speed encircling him and slashing him with her blade 5 times. It left cuts all over his body but she wasn't finished with him yet. His wounds were pouring blood but she thought he deserved to hurt a little bit more. She didn't really like bloodshed but with the pent up rage she wasn't sure if he would survive her onslaught. She punched him twice in the gut then delivered a kick to the head sending him flying away from her. She was slightly exhausted from the attack but she thought she was handling it pretty well. "I wonder if he's still breathing after that?" she asked as she was trying to catch her breath.

Ayero watched as the other Fanalis swiftly took down the remaining opponent, dealing a sharp blow with her blade before throwing several bone-cracking punches his way for good measure. She seemed pretty unrelenting in her attacks, and Ayero guessed that she knew what these men were up to. Most Fanalis often held the same view when it came to slave traders. When she was sure that the defeated men wouldn’t be getting up anytime soon, Ayero locked her gaze onto the other woman and nodded. ”Nice takedown. Now let’s go get those girls.” She noted that the other Fanalis seemed to have sustained a minor injury as well, but seemed to be handling it well.

She cautiously heads into the small house, stepping over the first man that Merrze had felled. Hearing a few frightened squeaks, she squinted towards the source of the noise. Tied up in the corner were four girls, varying from what she guessed to be young teens to younger children. Their arms and legs were bound tightly to prevent escape, and they had thick cloths tied around their mouths. Her sharp gaze softened a little upon seeing the terrified girls, sympathetic to their plight. Realizing that she still had her sword drawn, Ayero sheathed the bloody weapon and slowly approached the girls. ”It’s alright, you’re safe now. We’re going to bring you home.” She cleared her throat, attempting to use her most gentle voice possible, still sounding awkward.

She leaned over one of the girls and began to untie her with slow, careful movements. She wanted to get these children back to their father as quickly as possible, in case the slavers had friends nearby. As she works them from their bonds, she checks the girls over for any wounds that they might have received. Luckily, none seem to had any threatening injuries thus far, only a few bruises and scrapes from what she guessed to be the scuffle when they were captured and where the rope had rubbed against skin.

Merrze was glad to complemented by the woman. She nodded in agreement when she said to go get the girls. She was glad that she had taken out the other two guys or she would have been seriously injured by them for sure. She followed her fellow fanalis into the shack and noticed the man she took down earlier groaning in pain. She could've brang him happiness by knocking him out but she felt it would probably be better if she left him lying here in pain. "It's what you get you disgusting scum." She said with a look of anger on her face as she looked away from him. She still looked ferocious and furious so she calmed herself down and tried to have a nice happy expression on her face. She put her weapon away, wiped the blood away from her leg and walked over to the girls who had just been untied by the other girl.

"It's okay, everything is going to be okay now, we're going to take you back home to your family." She said in a somewhat friendly tone, she was hoping this would calm the girls down but they started crying. "Thanks you so much for saving us." one of the girl's said trying to hold back her tears. She seemed to be the oldest but Merrze would guess that she was around sixteen or so. She patted and hugged the girl calming her down a little. She decide to give an introduction to these girls and the other fanalis while she had the chance. "It's nice to meet all of you, my name is Merrze, you can also call me Merr or Mez." She said trying her best to give a friendly introduction. She went over to the slaver's body and took his bota, she tore of a piece of his clothes and doused it in the water from the bota and cleaned her wound. She then tore more cloth of and poured water on it. She walked over to the girls and cleaned some of there bruises and wiped the dirt of them and such. She stood up and lead the girls outside. "Alright it's about a 1 hours walk back to the city on foot. If you girls are able to walk that long right now we can head back to the city and take you back to your mansion where your family is." She said smiling to comfort the girls.

Ayero was grateful that Merrze seemed to be better at being social than her, calming the frightened girls with her words and helping to care for them. When she introduces herself, Ayero nods and opens her mouth to speak in kind. ”I’m Ayero. Thanks to your help, we were able to subdue those guys pretty quickly.” She aids Merrze in cleaning the minor wounds of the girls, making sure they could stand and move about before moving them from the house. She lets the other Fanalis take care of speaking to the girls, seeing as how she seemed naturally friendly. As they walked back towards the city, the group exchanged light conversation with each other. ”You’re pretty good with a sword. If you ever need another blade along on a job, I’d be happy to help.

She was happy meeting Ayero, she seemed like a nice girl that she could rely on as a partner. She seemed calm and collective in away which is something that she admired. When she had offered her help if she ever needed help in the future it made her feel very happy to that someone would be willing to help her again in the future despite meeting just a few minutes ago. "Thanks for the offer and if you ever need help in the future I'll be there to help even if I might not be of much assistance." She said offering a friendly smile to Ayero.
