I have narrated for many of Jahans tales for a variety of the man's life, watching his misadventures on a daily basis has made me, as the narrator, quite the solemn man. However his misadventures into the wilderness would be most likely the most ludicrous of all of his journeys. Jahan ventured through a plain like area, it was where many of the man eating lions are caught and brought to "participate" in the Coliseums. All those who may know Jahan should know this is the first red flag, this boy and danger mixed better than ice and shots of hard liquor.
Yet even without either ice or alcohol present Jahan was both cool and temerarious. Jahangir simply walked through the Sahara like he would walk anywhere. His presence was loud, proud boisterous and careless. It was something that only made for lesser animals to run from him, and more dominant animals to be extremely aware of him. Nothing that Jahan would ever care for the boy himself was hardly aware of the animals that were in the vicinity. He did however come here with a plan, he wanted to further his strength, so he would find a suitable animal comrade and tame him to work with Jahan.
Easier said than done, yet easiest dreamt of all, Jahan had absolutely no doubt that he would be able to tame whatever creature he would wish to find. I mean why wouldn't a beast want to follow him? He was the King of the Jungle. The King of the hill, and in his mind the one who should be the king of it all. Though enough of that, he was here for a good reason. Jahan huffed as he went along his path, further and further into the wild. He barely knew where he happened to be, and the cold winter air was serving to agitated him .
He would have prefered it to be hot like in Heliohapt, he had no trouble with the heat, probably because of his origins but nature betrayed him. Not someone whom he wanted to be betrayed by while he was on a mission to tame animals. The distraction from a sudden breeze of cold air soon caused him to swivel on the balls of his feet in anger.
"I'm so sick of the damn shit!" he shouted in a tantrum like fashion before stomping his foot on the ground. What he and you as well may take the time to note is that he was standing atop a rocky formation. Which under his strength cracked, before giving way sending Jahangir, our unfortunate Heroine, spiraling downwards.
"Hukk-Hukk" Jahan coughed as he got up. Dust and rocks tumbling down along side him.
"Damn that fall hurt" he muttered to himself. He opened his eyes and noticed that he was in a large circular pit about 20 meters in diameter, a 10 meter jagged opening was a mere 15 meters away from him. However he would take notice that between him and the exit were several large ferocious lions. Jahangir stood up immediately. As he did so a large lion charged at him, Jahan did not have proper time to react. Honestly everything he did after this point was pure instinct and impulse. As the Lion lunged letting out a vicious roar.
Jahan lunged, giving his own roar trying to match the lion tone for tone. Jahan battle instincts kicked in and he was able to intercept the Lions Paws, grasping them where a wrist would be, his Fanalis strength quickly overpowered the beast. The lion was unable to move let alone bite or maim our young "king". However it was the mans intensity that had inspired something akin to fear in the beast. When the lion would peer into Jahan's eyes, what he had expected to see was fear, shock and surprise. The same beautiful colors of emotions that were painted into the face of his enemies for years.
Yet he had seen none in Jahan, not fear but pride, and even a hint of outrage. Could Jahan had actually been angered that a Lion? One of the most respected and feared species to roam the earth? The answer was yes. Why in the world would a mere Lion choose to attack him? He definitely was not prey, no he had no doubts that with a single kick he could destroy any of these little kitties. Though it was probably his fanalis inspired anger leading to this explosive bout of arrogance and anger. As the Lion Roared again trying to no avail to force his way at Jahan. Jahan gave another Roar, while he was genuinely defeated in terms of bass. Jahan did have the passions to match if not exceed the lion.
The other lions however did not want to simply stand by and watch as their leader was threatened, they moved to strike and attack the man from all angles yet a single action would stop them, He purred, the lion purred. Tail between its legs, and a far less vicious look in its eyes the lion purred rather than attempting to maul Jahan to death. I couldnt tell you rather it was a sign of respect or an act of fear which led to the great animals obedience. Yet his pack seemed to follow suit after him, in there eyes the mighty king of the jungle had submitted to a new ruler, and in this case, Jahan was the leader of the pack.
Or at least an equal? Whatever the case may be this was the beggining of an entirely new realm for Jahan. From this point onwards he drove himself into the study of beast taming. He read several books, and stories of people that could tame mighty beasts. He returned to the areas that he had before and began
