Spoiler:

She pulls her lips away from Jahangir's, a soft blush on her face. She had decided to bring Jahangir out into the wreckage because she trusted him mot only to protect her, but to be able to rapidly increase the speed with which she could perform this job. Of course, the fact that she had been gradually fallen deeper in love with him over the past few weeks may or may not have played a roll in her decision. Not that it mattered. She knew he was a reliable comrade and would have picked him for those reasons alone, but as she stood in his gentle embrace as the city gate opened her heart still fluttered gently at their intimate contact. She cast her gaze up at his face. "One more kiss...for good luck."

Her boots pushed through the dried winter grass with a rustle, her staff held behind her as she slowly approached the first outpost. Jahan and her had tailed a raiding part back to the camp, assigned to simply size up the camp and returned unscathed. Of course, a bandit camp worth it's salt had guards, and this one was no exception. She turned back to her boyfriend, giving him a gentle kiss before sliding beside him. "There aren't many guards, but I don't think I'd be fast enough or quiet enough to knock them out. Can you take that one out without anyone else noticing? I'll direct from there, alright?" She motions to the one with his back turned.

Minerva had made an attempt to take note of the nearby guards. She knew this one was easily the most remote, but also had the best vantage point. If this one was removed, their job would become simpler, if not, then more stealth than she was most likely capable of was necessary.

Minerva tailed Jahan silently, stopping at a hidden vantage point by another guard as Jahangir carried on and took out the farthest. She saw the head dip, and rise again, the silhouette replaced now by Jahangir's. Her abode was cramped, and she certainly didn't enjoy having to spend the excessive amount of time within the confines between the two dilapidated stone pillars, but patience was what paid off more than anything. The guard soon had his back turned, signalling towards Jahan for something.

Minerva saw her chance and took it. She knew magic would be far to barbaric and flashy to deal with an enemy this late and not be seen, so she opted for a more simple approach. Gripping her staff at even lengths, she drove the butt into the man's knee, dealing d-tier damage causing his form to laps before she rotated the entire unit, cracking the man in the skull for another hit of d-tier damage and rendering him unconscious. She waves Jahan over, hoping he'll prop up the other guard so that no suspicion will be aroused. She uses the guard's spear to prop him in an upright position and then signals Jahan once more.

She sighed. Knowing Jahan, that poor boy guarding the camp was probably dead, but that was something she'd have to live with for forgetting to tell him not to kill anyone. She waited, taking care to observe as much of her immediate surroundings as possible. From what she could tell, there was only one guard left in this area, but he had a vantage point...They would need a distraction of some kind to take his attention somewhere else for a moment.

She meditated on the idea for a second, running several sources of action for her head. She couldn't use herself as a distraction, that was far too risky, and she wasn't sure if the guard was skilled in throwing his spear, and that was assuming they had one. They could very well be carrying a bow instead, in which case, a distraction that pulled there attention would be far more useful than a distraction that put someone in the line of fire. She pushes over the wall, landing as softly as she can and slinking towards the wall beneath the guard. The ruins gave her and Jahangir plenty of cover as they approached.

"Sneak around his left," she whispered to Jahangir. "I'm going to make a distraction on his right, so his back will be too you." She turns and raises her staff slightly before stopping. "....Don't kill him. Just knock him out, okay?" She pulls his face close and gives him a kiss on the cheek before she turns and creeps around a little further. She swiftly launches her Volt Spear as far as it can go, the burst of lightning creating a radiant light that captures the attention of the guard, who's back is now turned to Jahangir. She presses herself against the wall the guard was near, hoping Jahangir will quickly remove the final watch from the equation.
