Marax Inheritance Event Sign-Up

The first dungeon, Marax rose many years ago. It was conquered by a magician named Yakuroro who carried Marax to his dying day. With its chosen king dead, Marax was simply an empty vessel until suddenly it sensed the rukh of its former master with a new object of upmost importance. This is how Marax came to reside in the core of a homunculus named Yakutetsu who was born from Yakuroro's rukh.


Unfortunately the body had no soul, just a magic tool in its forehead keeping the bodily functions going with a vast storage of magoi within. The magoi would have been enough for the body to survive for many years. Rather than accept such a corpse as a tomb, Marax has used the magoi inside his new vessel in order to manifest his power and exert influence over the body through perfect illusion magic. But the drain of magoi and wear on the body this demands is far beyond what it was designed to stand. It won't last much more than a few months at this rate.

The djinn finds itself in a race against time to find a new King Candidate to acknowledge. Marax already spent some of his time hunting down someone that can help make his goals possible. Now he travels the world searching for people to test with his illusions in hopes of finding a worthy successor to his former master.

Those interested in participating must post their intent to join in this thread along with a link to a NEW rp thread that was started today or any day after 12/07/22. Marax will invade this thread and put your character through a trial. The trail will end without a pass or fail and Marax will leave. Once everyone who signed up has finished their trials, the winner will be announced and get another thread where Marax is obtained.

-No limit to sign ups
-Thread submitted must be NEW, from todays date, 12/08/22, or later.
-The thread may be of any type, but interactions with Marax will not count towards WCs for jobs or training.
-There is no hard deadline, instead if no new sign ups or posts in waiting threads are made for 2 weeks straight the event will end and a winner chosen from those who have finished their threads.
