After Ani had occupied the tribe's territory and then proceeded to set up camp they knew that they weren't going to be waiting for very long. Scout reports had already told them that there were two groups on their way to return home. One was a scouting group that was able to move quickly and then the leader who was taking his time guarding their spoils and personal equipment for heavier fighting.

If their plan went off as they hoped they would be able to take out the scouting group as they returned and then make it out with any new members before their leader returned so they could fight on their terms. Ani figured this would be the best way to instill respect, show that she was able to control the battlefield and keep things on her term. Ever since Ani had found herself on her journey she had spent her time learning how to fight alongside others and keep the battlefield under her control, it was her reason for making herself as agile as she was and why she was focused on being able to move where she wanted. It had gotten more difficult to do since she'd become blind, but now these raids were her chance at fixing at that by putting herself back into the danger so she'd be able to acclimatize herself to handle her role as well as she could before.

Her men were a bit wary about it but ultimately trusted their Commander's decision as even after she had returned from the dungeon blind she has proven time and time again that she was still capable of breaking people's expectations. They traded stories about their previous excursions as they sat around a fire watching out for any surprises while they took turns in the watchtower. It would be a pain if they were attacked while they camped through the night, but even as Liqin returned from his third shift nothing seemed to be happening.

"Mm, once again nothing new, but at least time you guy's got stew waiting for me." Liqin let out a happy sigh as he approached the fire and took a spot next to his father who had already been preparing a bowl for him. "Mmm, wild mushrooms, my favorite."

"You get that from your mother, I've always preferred to get more quail and broth than anything else." Niu for once let out a soft laugh as his expression softened and he handed off the bowl to his son before continuing to eat his own.

"It's good to see that your boy has really come out of his cage." The voice came from an armored woman who had been exiting her tent. As she removed her helmet and her silver curls fell onto her shoulder it became obvious it was Antonia. Originally from Reim she was a mercenary that Ani had befriended and eventually invited to the raiders when they formed.

"I remember when you guys first joined up and he had difficulty just speaking to us." Antonie continued to laugh as she spoke seeing that it made Liqin blush as she sat down to grab herself some grub. "Though it's good you respond now, otherwise where'd be the fun in teasing ya."

"Yeah yeah I know, but it's not like you made it any easier on me with any of your jokes." Liqin let out a soft resigned sigh as both Antonia and his father enjoyed a good laugh for a moment before they all went about finishing their soup.

While all of them were out and enjoying their night either on duty, eating, or resting when they could their commander was up to something a bit unorthodox. Instead of taking her time to go over her plans or make sure that all of her needs were met she was in the air above camp. With Dragot hovering above the ground Ani was once again meditating from the rest of her group with her mind focused on her training. With her senses focused on the air around her and the ground below it was meant to help her train to properly sense things even when she was still flying. It was more difficult with the differences that came from being high up in the air, but she still tried her best as she let the wind wash over her and she tried her best to pick up even the most subtle of differences in the atmosphere or the world around her.

It seemed like the hours were passing her by as she let herself become one with the world around her. After what had to have been a few hours Ani felt like a bit of warmth had kissed her cheek and the wind pressure increased slightly around her. It wasn't much but to her, it had felt like what her early morning's training in the mountains felt like. In the distance, she heard what sounded like rumbling with distant yells causing her to land. As she landed and felt the rumblings under her feet as she dismounted. The yells were from the returning party and her theory was only confirmed by the noises of her beast and the comments of her squadron.

Antonia was the only one who addressed Ani as the rest of them were getting ready to fight the upcoming group. "Well Commander, it looks like they made it earlier than we expected but at least it was on the right day, I think we got this." She chuckled pulling her hair back and putting it back into a ponytail so she could slip her own helmet on before finishing her sentiment. "So, we pull off the members of the party to the side while you handle the party leader?"

"Well we did go over it a few dozen times or so last night before and after dinner, so I would hope you knew the plan by now." Ani chuckled in response as she climbed back onto her wyvern after confirming the general position of who she was going to fight.

After taking flight on Dragot she flew towards the back of the group using both her wyvern and her own senses to ensure that she would zero in on the right person. With her own Wyvern flying fast the rest of them would move in on the ground as the encircled The Kreshyll Tribe warriors who were quick to engage them as Iban pulled off to the side.

They were quick to attack Ani's group as they went in for a whop whop as all three of them rushed in to strike their clubs at the Glass squadron. The Glass Squadron was quick to react as they set up a bulwark as they put up their shields absorbing the attacks. As they quickly defended Ani flew overhead and listened to their attacks and with a brief moment she quickly tried her best at commanding them still.

"Don't forget to wrap around them, use the techniques we practiced!" Ani yelled out at them as she suddenly shook the reins causing Dragot to burst forward with speed as her men went back to fighting. She herself listened to the sounds of their fighting as another set of sounds came in front of her.

Behind her, the Glass Squadron threw up their volcanic formation as suddenly five of them pushed them into the technique they practiced as they trapped them within their swords. Within a moment the rest of the three of them slammed the butts of their swords into their heads. After they took care of their enemies they looked forward to see the fight of their candidate who was working to make a show out of it.

Ani flying in head the cries of the leader as she suddenly dropped off her Wyvern and pulled out her lance. It was a bit ballsy, but she was going to take him out with simple maneuvers. With her weapon behind her and her speed picking up her ears tuned into the world around her to prepare for what was next. Iban was moving in close as he was using his low runner technique and started moving fast. Once he sped up and got close enough to Ani he swung with a Bone crusher in an attempt to cripple Ani

Not only the sounds of Iban's steps but the sound of his weapon swing through the air vibrated around creating a small image within Ani's head. It felt like she knew a perfect time and soon enough she found herself leaping through the air. It was as she soared through the air that she heard a gasp below her and she took a risk. Dropping down she felt her hand graze him and suddenly taking a further risk she lunged forward. Grabbing his neck with a full nelson from behind Ani suddenly brought him to the ground strangling him with her arms as she whispered something into his ear. As he entered a rage and started to spout off some slurs Ani twisted her arms and cracked his neck before dropping his body.

Knowing that people were watching Ani had simpled raised her hands into the air and got back onto her wyvern where she would fly back to the village to deal with the aftermath. She knew what their leader who was returning had done, and what he had allowed his son to get away with. As the wind rushed along her face one more time she felt confident in her actions as she thought of what would come next.
