The thread can't be approved for the following reasons:

-Overall, this fight was FAR too easy for Dante. His opponent had him completely outclassed, but was only hit once and otherwise had an easy time dodging and out maneuvering an opponent who should have far more combat experience than him.

-Damage taken was not properly calculated. When you took D-tier damage, it should have been A-tier damage due to Zai's Fanalis Racial strength. If you had taken proper damage, that one blow would have crippled Dante making the rest of the fight form that point on VERY different.

Whenever you are attacking someone, all sources of power should be considered. If you use a D-tier ability that normally does D-tier damage, but it includes the use of an A-tier sword, logically the sword would not lose sharpness temporarily. So if the attack lands, it would deal A-tier damage. Using an A-tier ability with a D-tier sword will also deal A-tier damage assuming doing so was the ability focus. The strongest aspect of your attack is used to calculate damage and physical strength granted by traits is part of those calculations. This makes melee fighters much more dangerous at higher tiers. As their weapons are upgraded, even their weakest abilities can become  strong enough to deal fatal damage.

-When Zai used Burst Parry you mistook the way the ability is used. He would never have gotten his fingers chopped off because the ability specifically states that his action aims for the attacking hand of his target, not the weapon. There is also a side step involved in the ability which he did not perform in your thread. Had he moved aside, your attack would have missed.

Consider this post a "warning" to pay more attention and to be mindful of the systems and ability descriptions of your opponent next time. You will be rewarded 7,000 huang for the effort put in, but no exp. In addition, Zai's death is voided.

However, the training can't be approved:

-You must submit training for approval in your application thread for the abilities being trained. It should have been moved to the "Approved for training" sub-board of the Abilities board.

-You did not have clear markings to indicate where the word count towards training one ability ended and the training for another began. Having such markings is a requirement when training multiple things in a single thread.
