Job Reward:7khuang 100xp
Job Prerequisites:heated planning
Job Overview:The first step of the construction is the creation of a temple near the peak of the mountain that will serve as the base for the statue made by Josser.
Ustad the soon to be world renown architect was currently gathering supplies and manpower in order to start his construction process. Since Josser had plenty of money from his jobs and commissions he was able to hire some workhands to be able to help do a majority of the construction work with the guidance of Ustad and Josser. These were the few who were willing to make it all the way to the peak of the mountain to work on it so they were more pricey than usual.
So Ustad would lead the group with Josser to the base of the mountain where they would begin their hard, long work. There was no clear paths to the peak which made it extremely difficult to get to so the first part was to work on making a path. The crew would get out shovels and start to work on digging out steps that are 1 square meters that they will put stone slabs of granite on them so that they will last longer in the weather. The best way to do this was to have the steps go around the mountain in a sort of spiral manner. This was so that they were not as steep despite talking a longer path to the top. Also they would try to build the path into the mountain a bit so that they were not on the edge that was most prone to deteriorate.
Every couple of hundred steps or so the sculptor, Ustad would build small statues that worked as reliefs into the mountain. These would vary but all be shrine like designs with buddha’s, tengus, demons and other supernatural or spiritual beings. This was mostly due to this most likely becoming a path or destination for pilgrimages. The ruler of this country had apparently used the mountain for some spiritual journey or self discovery or something. This was not something that Ustad or Josser cared about personally but it made sense to use it as inspiration for their arts.
Along with all of this would be little pavilions of a sort that could be used to rest or take shelter from the elements. These would have intricate Corinthian columns that would support the roof. They would have walls of course as well but would need to have upkeep and such which rather citizens of the country can do or it could be reliant on Ustad and Josser.
All of this would take months because it was a long, hard, and repetitive job. It takes a while and was too reliant on the weather which had seemed to shift violently and unpredictably. However, once they were done they would finally find themselves at the peak of the tower able to start on the true construction.
They would start by digging into the peak of the mountain. The workers would use shovels and pick axes to dig into the mountain top while Ustad would use a method that was quite a bit different. The Balbadd trained architect would pull out a small, ornamented silver trowel that looked like it was used more for gardening than full on digging. This was his Diggy Diggy Hole, which was a magic tool he had gotten his hands on rather recently along withs several other architect items. He would grasp the trowel I his hand, feeding magoi into his hand before digging it into the ground. As he does this, a 2 by 2 meter hole would suddenly appear as the earth and stone is scooped out by unseen magic. He would continue this process a total of ten times before feeling himself get near the end of his magoi supply which he did not fully understand. This would manage to dig out a majority of the peak that they needed but they still had to continue to dig down. This would take about a week for them to finish it, with Ustad taking breaks and using his trowel gain every couple of days once his magoi had rebuilt.
The next step would be working on the construction of the building itself after taking a month long break to refresh the workers and resupply. Once back at the peak ustad would take out a small pendant, a brooch in fact. This was the second of his items as he feeds magoi into the brooch which covers his body in a strange magical armor. As soon as the amor forms he created a 50 by 50 by 50 meter building that fills up all but the last few meters of the top of the hole. The building was mostly basic but it was the interior that would end up mattering the most for the base. There were four doors that led to 4 tunnels that would lead out to the sides of the mountains. He would then go inside and activate the second ability of the Last Architect which could create a 20 meter wall that he could shape at will to make several rooms. He would keep doing this for 6 times to make 10 four meter tall floors with varying rooms and floor layouts. Once the base was complete they would start to work on the interior, giving it a crimson color that would brighten up the rooms and decorate the interior in a classic balbadd and meridian mixture of styles, all based on Ustad’s knowledge and preferences.
The interior designing of the base would take about a week but while that was happening they would begin working on the top part finally. After a couple of days of rest ustad would use his magic armor to make the first couple of layers of the tower, the first smaller than the 50 m base by 10 meters and only 30 meters tall. The next would be 10 meters less as well and only 15 meters tall. The rooms would be made as well with his abilities but much less use than before.
After this he would rest while they start working on the exterior and interior of the tower. The interior would be the same with meridian and balbaddian style furniture and other such things. As for the exterior it would be adorned in a gold varnish with tons of statures made by Josser or elephants and whales on alternating levels with relief carvings on the other levels. There would be an onion shaped dome at the top which would fit the style of the tower like temple that they had created, with a flat top compared to normal onion domes.
Over all this would have taken probably close to a year which was actually much quicker than what would normally take without Ustad’s skill and magical items. During this time Josser would be working on the smaller sculptures as well as his masterpiece but that is for another time.

Name: Josser ‘Joss’ Tabaaq
Tier: D Tier [Plot NPC]
Damage Required to Defeat: D Tier + Borg
Description: A former student at the Magnostadt academy, Joss dropped out because he had learnt everything he wanted. Proficient at Water magic and teaching himself Strength and Life magics, he went back home to Balbadd and set up a sculpting workshop in the capital’s outskirts. After years of sculpting, however, Joss decided to travel across the world - because why not! - and met Ustad and Dasom. He now wants to create and display a sculpture at the highest point of every country to showcase his work to everyone in the entire world!
Joss is quite the eccentric - surprise, surprise - and loves his sculptures more than anything else. If he sees some inspiration, he will often stop whatever he is doing and start sculpting at a moment’s notice! It might have been this trait that made his Magnostadt professors so frustrated. Joss has such a charming personality, however, that nobody can resist laughing at his jokes. This has been useful in his line of work, as he can easily talk a potential model into working for him without much hassle. Joss has a high opinion of himself as well, both in terms of skill and looks. While it is true that he is rather handsome, with well-kempt hair and a wicked smile, his taste in fashion is often outdated or bizarre. He has a love for the fez in particular, but will go hunting for new hats whenever he travels to another place for the first time.
