Tai-Shi stared down at his unmoving master. “Sire! What are you doing?! There’s someone twenty-five meters from your location,” he informed the dark king, using the earrings to communicate. “It looks like he has something in his hands!” Adrastos cocked his head to the side. So the man thought he could run? The likelihood of the individual being strong was slim, and the fact that he was the cause of Adrastos’ new look was irksome. Nothing really valuable to keep alive and interrogate, not if that one woman was still alive, lurking in his shadows. Using the Blade of Ascension, the dark king would fly into the air and dive toward the running man and spun around as he passed, slicing through the man’s neck with ease. Whatever he would drop, the dark king would pick up and inspect. “All this for what…?”

At this point in time Casrare did not wish to end the nightmare. While he wanted happiness for those gripped in its torture he knew the pain could never be cured. Plenty of those in life wish to exert control over the weak, the unsure. The young sasanid wished to exert his control over his own fate for once. Maybe it had been illusion, or maybe it had the vague delusions of the nightmare. The young knight wished to inflict the visage he had experienced on others. Not to torment them, atleast not eternally, but to help them grow. Each example he saw of the word brought pain, yet it was in that pain, that sorrow that brothers forth meaning.

It was connections that brought force that escape from pain. It seemed as if each expression was but an escape from thought. He would trudge forward as confusion gripped his mind, looking for his answer. He needed to be more, to embody more. The nightmare was shaping him. The obelisk would come into his sight, it brought out people's worst fears but it also seemed to draw out the true self.

The darkness he carried with him, the shard only beckoned him further. His fingers would gently clasp, sliding the crystallized fate into his palm. Instead of the orbs he had seen this would be Casrare's key. Not for ending this nightmare, no not fully, but to accept it. He would press it into the object, breaking it. He would follow it up with a simple sentence. "Let sin become truth and the nightmare become me.

All things considered Menat might have actually been more on edge due to the lack of activity now that her battle had been won. Amazingly absolutely nothing had made another attempt on her as she rested within the fabric walls of her rather well-crafted tent. Considering the last time she had let her guard down had resulted in an old woman skinning a chunk of her bark off in a sneak attack it was safe to say the Spriggan Princess wasn’t letting her guard drop a second time. What felt like enough time had passed for her to recover from the fight with the elderly assassin, there was clearly nothing more to gain from waiting in the same location with a large, undamaged structure acting as a beacon. Setting about dismantling the tent and storing it away once more she made her choice to move on ahead.

Everyone:
On the edge of the square were two sides both aiming to kill the old man that was fleeing from them. Both attacks would meet the man cutting him into several pieces causing the orb piece to clatter to the ground. The king of shadows would be beaten to it by the underlings of the slavemaster who would pick up the piece.

While this was happening the plague knight would place his shard into the center of the keyhole crushing it against the obelisk. As he says his with and crushes the shard something miraculous would happen.  The obelisk would explode sending hundreds of obsidian shards out and into the body of Casrare. The knight would feel excruciating pain racket his whole body as the shards burrow into his skin. Suddenly large, .5 meter long spikes of obsidian would grow out of his back along the spine fusing with his vertebrae itself becoming a part of his body. The next moment the fog that had been surrounding the city would disperse, flowing towards the Knight going inside of the obsidian spikes in his body that used to be the final obelisk, now residing in a new host.

Now Everyone would be able to see their surrounding and everyone near them clearly as the fog was now gone. The horror that had terrorized this city had vanished and let go of its hold over the citizens that still hid in the depths here. Kamal Would look at ghost and shake his head. “I am sorry young man but I must decline for now. I have to take care of my sister and think. However I hope that we will meet again.” He would tun to noir before speaking again “Thank you for helping me, I am sorry but I cant stay.” At this he would turn and walk into an alley with his dead sister in his arms.

Back at the edge of the square the King of Shadows would hear laughter as Asha watched everything that had happened. “Oh this is wonderful so wonderful. Who would have thought that the knight you helped would not destroy the magic but fuse with it! Well you have held you bargain and now so do it. We will meet again king of darkness.” At this Adrastos would feel a sudden surge of power flow through his body. He would not feel a difference right away but would eventually notice he no longer aged. This was his gift.

The city was now free and its saviors were free to do as they please.

Something unexpected happened, they were very close to destroy the last obelisk and someone decided to... put a shard in it and wished to be a nightmare. Noir's eyes widened as she saw the process, couldn't believe that this kind of thing could be occuring. Was the power of the shard that strong? Well she knew people could even kill to get shards, but she had no idea on how powerful it could be because she never used it.

Right after the fusing process completed, she could see the obelisk wasn't there anymore as the pieces was absorbed into this stranger's body. The fog around them found a new home as well, inside the body of the strangers.

Noir could see the area clearly now, but she wouldn't lie, she had a strange feeling seeing that man took the obelisk and the fog inside his body like that. She wondered what kind of being he would be... and the power he would hold... However this was not the time to worry about that, just when Noir wanted to stay something to Kamal. The mourning brother thanked Noir and left, with his lifeless sister in his arms. But before he left, the magician would say, "Thank you for your help as well, Kamal. May our path crosses again."

Ghost would look at the magician. The very one who refuses his offer of a conversation. But it was alright for him to do so. As he saw the man take his leave. He would do his best to follow him. As he also saw what happened to the fog Ghost was sure life was going to get harder for him. Even more so Ghost had to get it together if he was to make it out of his in one peace. As he saw the magician run pass him. He would yell out to him. "WE WILL MEET AGAIN I TELL YOU THIS BECAUSE YOU'RE SISTER IS NOT YET DEAD!!!" What ever did Ghost mean by that? He surely had a plan up his sleeves. As he and his Knights would take thier leave on the opposite side of the street. It was best to leave as soon as they could.
