[POLL] New Admin of Magi World

Alright. So Ive allowed myself enough time to gather my thoughts and calm  down a bit. I apologize for my previous outburst. However there is more to be said. Forgive me if I say anything that may offend you all. 

To Begin with, Im going to blow Trently completely over. I dont have the time nor the patience to give him another shred of my mind. More importantly many of the things I am about to say apply to him regardless. 

Magi World I am here to speak to all of you. I am disappointed n this community, and Im tired of pretending like Im not to shield everyones feelings. So lets begin

First I will challenge Duquin. You have made several good points, I see why you are upset. However its naive for everyone to submit to your  statement. I want to ask my fellow members if they ever thought about the intentions behind Duqs return? He is not here because he cares about all of our role playing experience. Quite frankly Im sure he doesnt give a damn. This man is inactive, how often does he speak to any of us? He out here reading these threads? Logging in? Being a member of this community?

He isnt doing this because he cares for this community, he doesnt spend a moment of his day thinking about the community. Many of you dont even know him. He is not returning to this site, he will not play here nor admin here. To put it even more plainly, he is only doing this to remove Diana for his own personal satisfaction.  That is the only intent he can feasibly have. Stop listening to a man who gives no fucks about you.

IDC if he was admin at a point. You all need to remember regardless of whatever respect you have for this man he is a human.  He is also partially accountable for how things are today. 

Let me elaborate on that a little bit. It seems a large portion of his complaints were regarding how the plot/characters were being handled in this event. 

Well that is not only her fault, that is the fault of everyone who abandoned this plot. That is your fault Duquin, this is the fault of whomever started this. This is the fault of everyone who didnt finish this.

Im tired of it all being thrown at Diana like its all her fault. You all left this on a newb, you damn there set her up for failure with your exit. You know this. 

While I can acknowledge mistakes Diana may have made , I will not disregard the ones you have made. I will not pretend like you werent supposed to have done better. These are issues that trickled down because you all quit. Now you are angered over how your glorified fanfiction is being written.



Honestly, the best thing that could happen for this site is for this crappy event to end. The characters are average at best anyways. 

Anyways regardless of how you feel aout what ive said or what Duq has stated. I hope you guys even realize what he is doing essentially, because if he gets his way and things turn south dont expect his wisdom.

How worm-like. Its time you guys grew up, your getting to old for this. You have all abandoned this site, and while you have helped build it it is no longer yours.

To Ariel, The Mod Team and Everyone. 

Inactives should not be allowed to vote. Its completely ludacris. All the information you have been collecting on the communities opinions are false because people are plotting. People who have no connection to this site at this point have came back to support other people who have no connection to this site anymore. This is done all in attack to Diana over personal gripes. You honestly must imagine that without the help of people who are no longer involved in this community this poll stands no chance in hell.

I can personally tell you at least 3 people who voted against Diana are not roleplaying here anymore.

This  is completely stupid. The point of this is not to make the website a better place, its to stage a coup over some personal grudges. You risk moving backwards.

I can not begin to put into words how becoming a mod has affected me. I am not and never planned on using my voice to harm the community, to use it against anyone. I suppose that due to our relationship you have every right to be worried. 

My main goal as Community mod was to stimulate this community and create more options for all of the players. I was here to bridge between the old and new players so things like this would never happen. I was here to act as the voice for you all. To create compromise when needed. 

However we are in a sticky situation here. This is a slippery slope.

Yes Voda I called you out by name, as you should be called out by name. You are the only person who is trying to actively become admin. 

Voda you have good intentions honestly. The only issue with you being admin is your personality. You have a few flaws which also make you not the best candidate for admin. You have experience on this site and in managerial business. What you dont have is the trust and support of most the forum. You dont have amazing interpersonal skills. People like you Voda but you must ask if people want to be led by you.

You are quite clever but you must remember a few things i think are going to be the bane of you as an admin. You must remember to keep this place fun. You overthink everything, and you constantly have nedw ideas to implement into the system. However you need to know that too much is a bad thing. You have a ton of ideas that shouldn't even be implemented into a forum like this. You should not make this forum too complex. This is a fandom site, you would do better taking a ton of new systems to an og website.

You run the risk of making players turned off by the systems. Also, you are working on making the site more realistic. You wish to have more player consequences. This is a good and a bad thing. Having it not be super easy is important, but remember this is a game and several stories. Regardless of your personal feelings about what might happen to a character you would need to decide on a good middle ground between risk/reward. You can not make the goals of the characters here so difficult to achieve they are no longer worth it. If you did you would only dissuade people from doing the more interesting plots. 


You would need to make sure this is still a game people want to play with you.

Stop looking down on Diana, I do not control this woman. I will not stand for any disrespect towards her either.

This is a PSA from your community mod

I want you all to step back and look at what is happening to the site. We came to a point where most people appreciated Diana, and we had a strong base of core members. People who post everyday. I do not believe in this bullshit about being a dying site. We are far from dead, we are budding through the bs the old administration left. When that is over we can actually push for more members. Someone else is probably using that to their advantage

  While I can not ignore that there are some valid points in this thread though (alongside much bs).

What you need to question now is will anyone else actually improve your experience on this site? Do you feel as if any of the people who you may guess would run for admin  be better than Diana? 

I say no to this. I am sure that the site is being divided and conquered. It will become worse as even more bad blood brews. Things would change all over again, you can expect another period of waiting beneath some random person. People are after this for their agendas and egos, dont be fooled.

@Emperor Jaja | Let me set the record straight. Only one person who has been both inactive from the chat and the site have voted already. That one person will probably be the last one - I don't plan on allowing old and inactive members from even before Diana joined vote. That would make the results highly questionable.

Right when I saw Ariel post and then a few more mods, I knew it was going to be yes men army come to jump on this and put in every one of their two cents.

That's exactly what staff has become at this point with the opinion to support Diana although it's been plenty of time since Diana has become admin and we've all seen how she has handled it so far.

I wouldn't even doubt if the staff is only in it for the huang to benefit their own characters, I know some already are.

Whatever though, I'm not going to try to word my sentences professionally or anything cause I really don't want to. I'm just saying that staff has become exponentially worse over the months.

DM posts used to come much faster than this, you had a lot less drama and etc. Not only that but you have even your own staff talking behind your own backs. Previous staff despises the current adminship too if you haven't noticed the obvious by the way.

ok If Diana is the only one punished for this then!!!!!
