Requirements/Drawbacks: Adrastos must be wearing the crown and feed magoi into it for the ability to work. Subject must be touching a shadow at all times. Only someone of equal tier of the ability strength can resist; someone of greater tier of the ability strength can break free. Target can only move 3m if they are resisting.
Scaling: Strength - The strength of the spell increases by one tier for every 10 magoi/stamina spent (Caps at A-Tier)
Sustain: 0/4
Cool Down: 2 Posts

Description:

    Using Shadow Magic, a combination of light and strength, the user creates a shadow that attaches to a target. This shadow can be imperceptible until it touches the target so long as the target is standing in a shadow that touches or is a part of the shadow the user is standing in. The shadow feels cold to the touch, as if the lack of light and heat from the sun at night is centralized in a local area. The shadow then takes over the physical movements of the target by wrapping around the elbows, knees, wrists, ankles and limbs. Once per post the shadow is capable of forcing the target to collide with something, causing D-tier damage to the target's affected area and the area hit by the target. The target may resist the shadow's control by using a physical ability of equal or greater strength, or by clashing with the magical force directly. The ability has a 20m range.

Scaling: Hit/Projectiles - The number of hits or projectiles will double for every 10 magoi/stamina that is invested.

The shadow projectiles will seek the target(s) designated within a 15m radius of the caster, splitting off in multiple directions around the target(s) before homing in on them. Each missile deals D-Tier damage.

Requirements/Drawback | This is essentially like saying you need a sword in order to perform an ability. For that reason, I'm going to have to ask you to make more specific requirements.
Description | In order for this to be approved, many restrictions must be placed due to its nature (and the fact that it is a C-Tier ability). These are the following:

  • The shadows may take control of any target in a 20m range (of course not at the same time) however once having found a target, the shadows may only move said target 3m from their original position.
  • You may have already included this already, but just to be sure/reminder, the shadows must be touching its target at all times. If at any time, the shadows are not touching the target, their control will break.
  • You may not force PC users to attack. However, you may force a D-Tier NPC to attack.
  • This ability lasts as long as it is sustained. It may not have a flat duration.
  • The shadow tendrils' durability should be equal to their tier - so C-Tier damage should be able to break them.
  • Anyone with C-Tier strength may resist reposition. The ability simply will not affect anyone with B-Tier strength or higher.


Shadow Missiles
Requirements/Drawback | The same for Shadow Missle as Shadow Marionette - your requirement is too vague/general.
Description | Because it may hone, the range should be 15m.

I'd like to verify a couple of things regarding Shadow Marionette before proceeding with any changes:


  1. If I scale the ability with strength, I should be able to hit higher tier opponents with it. They should not get free resistance. Can I confirm if this is how it will be judged?
  2. When scaling the ability with strength, is the durability still C-Tier?
  3. The ability essentially allows me to grab a person and slam them into another person for aoe damage. I nerfed this to allow for a reduction in damage so it isn't too op. Are restrictions on all classes that make it so they can't knock 2 opponents together with force? Please remember that shadow magic is a physical force, not a magic that mind controls.



On a side note, I'm currently thinking of what other type of restrictions I'm gonna place on it, but I need to know where the ability stands first. However, I wouldn't mind some examples of requirements I could utilize that make sense for a crown that is worn atop my head since just wearing it isn't enough. Is it fine to only have a distance restriction if they are resisting?
