They had finished their job with the Sabertooths from before, but it seemed like that was only the beginning. He just sighed because it seemed like those sabertooths didn’t make it which meant more was coming to the village. He couldn’t believe this, but this time there were four coming their way, and he knew that something needed to be done. He figured that he and his friends would be able to take this on again. They had done this originally, so he figured that they would put an end to all of this, and make sure that the village was safe before they left to another city.

Yuurei was outside of the village again, but this time he was sitting down on his carpet right now. He was wearing regular clothing. It seemed like somebody was quick enough to scout these animals coming to their village. He was surprised when he heard there were four of them, and that one of them was larger than the rest of them. He just shook his head because he figured that it was the pack leader of the group. He was okay with that, but he wondered which of the two of them would be able to take two sabertooths. He figured it would be Ren, or of course he could easily take the pack leader, and another one at the same time.

It was a normal day for this place. It was cold, the snow wasn’t around, and he didn’t need to expect any kind of surprise storm. He was glad on that. He figured it was time to use his Djinn’s power though, so he could make sure things went smoothly. Yuurei had told his friends about this job, and he well figured this would be their last job together in this village. He didn’t mind if they did their own thing, but he was planning on moving on to another place. There was a lot more to see, and of course he wanted to learn more.

He figured they would want the same thing, which he was okay with. He just tapped his finger with his thigh as he just waited for things to get on the way. There was something running through his mind, and it was just how strong he had gotten, and figured that there was always something to improve in the future.

The timing couldn’t be any better for another mission. Ren was literally bored out of his mind in his hut. He wanted to begin his travel to another place already, he was tired of the cold and all the constant dangers that they faced in this cold beautiful place. Sure the area was simply gorgeous but this cold was completely ruining his mood. He needed warmth and solitude. What he needed even more than that was to train in nice warm weather. He wanted to fight, not animals but humans themselves. That’s exactly why he had already planned to head to the Reim empire. He wasn’t leaving just yet, he needed to spend more time with his new companion and his close friend. It would be bad of him to just up and leave without letting anyone know.

Stepping out of his hut he was greeted by the damned cold wind. His attitude for the day was pretty bad and the cold wasn’t helping in any manner. Making his way out of the village he sighed as he made sure that everything was with him. Weapon, clothing and all. Apparently a report had come in that more saber tooth were on their way but this time it was more than the few amount that came last time. This time apparently it was four and rumor was that the leader came to play too. He had guessed that word reached the pack leader about the defeat of his other brethren so he’s most likely out for blood. Which isn’t much of an issue for Ren seeing as how with his current attitude he didn’t mind knocking some sense into the damned beast.

Finally reaching the outside of the village he spotted Yuurei waiting patiently on his magic carpet. He looked a bit anxious which honestly meant that Ren probably wasn’t the only one in a bad mood. Taking a seat on the magic carpet he sighed and looked at Yuurei. ”The quicker we get this over with, the quicker we can get to warmer land. If I have to deal with any more snow creatures I am literally going to break several vacant villages. I wish I were joking. This morning I woke up in the worst mood in history, I’ll be lucky if I make it through today without murdering one of those damned kittens.” This day wasn’t going to be fun but Ren would try to make things move quicker.

Gin was planning on spending the morning meditating, but upon hearing that the next job he and his new group was taking had involved more sabertooths, along with it's larger leader, his mood was ruined. The last fight with these wild cats had nearly scared him out of his wits. These beasts were fast and he to exhaust everything he had in a quick pace so the beast wouldn't be allowed any chance against him. Now the same problem returned with a slight difficulty. Even with Yuurei and Ren, would this be so easily handled?

The green magician had sat in his hut, his fingers pinching the bridge of his nose for a moment before rubbing his eyes. He couldn't leave his group to fend for themselves, even though he was sure they could handle it on their own, but it would be cowardly to do so, he knew even companions would not desert one another.

After having a little internal battle with himself, Gin got up, dressed down to his normal clothing along with the white fur cloak over and exited his hut to reach the other two outside the village. It didn't snow, the wind was not present and the temperature was indeed cold, but not frigid, the weather may be good, but in the end, the job might be what kills him or even pushes him to near death this time.

Gin reached the two had already taken a seat on the magic carpet, "Good morning" He said to them before taking a seat on the carpet. He didn't need to say anything else, he didn't want them to know he was upset about this job, it felt as if the last job had not count. He was still at least grateful that they had still gotten paid.

Yuurei had heard footsteps coming from behind him, and he only smiled because he knew who it was. The footsteps he heard was the sound of snow being stepped on over and over again. He didn’t move from his spot as he felt his friend get on the carpet, and it seemed like something was bothering him. He just stood there though as he knew if his friend wanted to speak he would speak. He stood there tapping his finger, and he heard Ren. It seemed like his friend was not happy with the return of the animals, and he could laugh about it.

It was annoying indeed, but at least they were getting more money. ”I don’t think I can hold back on the leader of the pack. I mean I will try, but I doubt it will go well. Still don’t let your day cloud your mind Ren. It might affect you in a way that might hurt you in the long run. It’s just a warning, so you don’t have to listen to me,” he said to his friend as he was waiting for their third partner to arrive now. Yuurei wouldn’t have been surprised if Gin had left them after what had happen. They had done something crazy, and well what Ren, and Yuurei did was something a lot of people couldn’t do.

He just stood there waiting as he heard the footsteps coming from behind them again. They were now all on the carpet, which was good. ”Well we are off to fight more sabertooths. I hope you guys are prepare,” he told them as he made the carpet go forward. They were soaring the air again as he just kept his eyes out for the animals like before. He just wondered how they were going to do this. There were four of them, and they were a number of three. He just thought about it as the carpet kept moving as he decided to speak.

”Well which one of you are planning on taking two of the sabertooths? I can take on two you want, but just let me know. I don’t want to get in anybody’s way when we stop them from moving forward to the village,” he asked wondering what they were going to say. He knew it wouldn’t take long to find the sabertooths, and dispose of them.

Ren listened as his friend replied to his statement about possibly killing one of the beasts. The man was right and his attitude shouldn’t cloud his emotions. He would try his best to keep his head on straight no matter what, it would be best to avoid any kind of mistakes in the upcoming battle although he didn’t really stress it as much. His companion mentioned the idea of someone handling two sabertooths, Ren turned his attention towards Yuurei with a rather vicious spark in his eyes. The idea of taking on two of those creatures simply sparked his interest incredibly. Plus he was positive the magician couldn’t handle two seeing as how he had enough trouble with just one.

”One is far too easy, now two saber tooth tigers actually sounds like an interesting task to take on. I don’t mind taking both on at once.” Lifting up his muscles he flexed as his muscles began to bulge. “two kitties are no match for these guns.” He laughed a bit and lowered his arm. ”No but in all seriousness I’ve been meaning to test out a move I’ve been learning and right about now this seems like the best chance to finally go ahead and test it out. I’ll just need to get the kittens to go at least forty meters away from where you guys are fighting. Any suggestions on how to get them to follow me so far? ”

He honestly wanted an answer but not from Yuurei, he wanted the answer to his question to come from the magician Gin seeing as how he looked as though he was rather strategic. He faced the magician and grinned as he awaited a response while twirling his fingers in a malicious way. He looked like a villain from an old movie who was coming up with a master plan to completely take over the world when in all reality he genuinely wanted an answer, he just wanted to scare Gin a bit out of pure playfulness.

As they took off on the carpet, the conversation began concerning the job. Gin saw the first problem; being that there were four, someone among his group would indeed have to take on two. The idea of himself facing against two of the same vicious enemy he had fought last time had sent a chill down his spine and even though Ren had taken on the challenge, the magician didn't relax, for the task was still risky.

Ren's attitude towards the job was highly positive, his confidence amazed Gin. Even for someone of his strength, fighting two large wild cats at the same time should be something of difficulty, and yet this red haired wonder laughed in the face of danger.

Gin was surprised when Ren asked of a way to have the foe tail him. The magician thought of a moment before replying, "Wild cats enjoy the thrill of the hunt and the larger ones, such as the sabertooths, tend to hunt a single individual each, however they roam in packs in case the foe is too great to take down alone... so... I would suggest showing a feat of strength by demonstrating to one of the cats to intimidate it so it'll have to rely on backup, then when you have their attention, run as fast as you can, wild cats never let their foe escape, they will follow you to the end of the region" Gin said this as he laid belly down on the carpet, he was still not use to flying on the magical device.

He gave his advice to Ren, and after he did, he wondered what kind of ability would the red haired man use that required him to gain great distance. Nevertheless, he had to focus on his own strategy. However he would think of something by the time they've reached the destination.

Yuurei was on his carpet right now as he was just waiting to see if they would be able to spot the sabertooths. He heard his friend speak, and he laughed because he knew he would be the one who wanted to fight two instead of one. He didn’t mind that, but he figured he would think of something for them to do as a team. He heard his friend speak about how he would be able to get them away from everyone. He stood quiet as he figured that Gin would have something to say, and if not then he would suggest something.

That was when he heard his new friend speaking. Yuurei liked Gin’s answer, and he didn’t mind them doing that, but still he figured that he would bring up something as well. He just looked around though as he was wondering if the sabertooths were around yet. He didn’t see anything, which meant they weren’t there yet. He looked at Ren, and Gin as he was planning something. ”Well how about we do something else. How about we take them out as a group? We won’t get off the carpet, but we will have Gin use his sound magic to daze them or catch them off guard,” he paused for a bit as he had to cough.

After he coughed he smiled at the two to continue on. ”Then from there Ren you can drop down, and show them what you can do to the things you land on,” he laughed when he said that, but wasn’t done yet. ”From there I will show you guys a grand explosion to make sure that all of the sabertooths are done for. It will be good, and that way you guys won’t have to do much on your own, and we can get this over with. So how does that sound?” he suggested wondering what they would say.

He turned his attention back to looking for the sabertooths. He had his attention away from the scene for a bit, but now it was time to continue on with his scouting. It was for the best, and of course he just knew that they were close to them. He could just feel it in his bone, but he didn’t want to jinx it, so he stood shut about it.

Ren watched as his the magician spoke of a simple way to get the cats to follow him. It made sense overall and was a great plan altogether. This carpet was turning into quite the brainstorming central. Looking at the magician he grinned and patted the man on the shoulder. ”That’s in all honesty a great idea, it would be the easiest way to get the bastards by themselves without any sort of issue. This idea might just work out if played out correctly.” Clenching his fists together his grinned widened a bit as he thought of a possible scenario.

Just as he began to think of one, his friend Yuurei began to speak. Stopping what he was doing he turned towards the archer and looked him in the eyes wondering what this man could have up his sleeves. Yuurei spoke of doing a group takeout instead. Everyone showcasing their abilities in one go each. He spoke of giving Gin the chance to stop the creatures in their steps while Ren would swoop in and dish out an attack followed by a huge boom served by the archer himself. Ren couldn’t have been any happier with the idea. This was the type of teamwork that came from those who have been together for ages. Looking at both men he grinned and smashed his fists together.

”Never have I heard a better idea. This will showcase just how amazing our little team here is if put into work in the form of a combo of sorts. This! We have to do it! This would make things so much better and get the job done even quicker than I had expected. ” He patted Gin and Yuurei on the back and made his way towards the end of the carpet, making sure not to fall. Spotting the Sabertooths he chuckled and stretched his right arm. ”Well looks like the party has arrived. Let the games begin.”

Gin poked his head over the side of the carpet to examine the tundra below. The snow was beautiful as always, but the creatures that dwell within the snow, caves and others made the plains seem like a dangerous beauty; wonderful to view... from afar.

The magician enjoyed his plan, and so did Ren, but he had to admit that Yuurei's was much more well planned and safe, keeping a safe distance, the carpet, was brilliant; he slightly gave thanks as he gave a low sigh of relief. Gin looked up at Ren who seemed pumped as usual. Diving into a group of sabertooths was boiling his blood; for someone of his strength and bravery it was a treat.

The moment Ren pointed out the sabertooths, Gin's heart sank. He peeked over the edge again and there they were, making their way towards the village. They haven't noticed the group above, due to the fact that hunters like them only focus on the floor in front of them, not caring about the flying prey that can easily escape them, there was no point in looking up, which gave the three humans the advantage.

Gin stood slowly stood up on the carpet, even though he was scared of doing such a thing, he needed to gain footing to make sure the spell doesn't catch the carpet as it is cast, "Prepare yourself guys" Gin said as he eyed the wild cats. He gripped his staff and pointed it to the foe below. He wanted to use his strongest spell, but due to the fact that he was in mid-air, there was no medium, no surface to cast it on, meaning his initiative wouldn't be at it's best.

The green magician took a deep breath before he summoned the magoi within himself, the rukh around him gathered and formed. "Bell Blast!" He called as he shot a blast of sound downwards. Within a moment, the invisible blast hit the wildcats below, kicking up snow around them. The snow was Ren's landing point, "Take care" he quickly said to Ren as he landed on the carpet face down once more.

Yuurei noticed how excited Ren had gotten when he said that. It seemed like Gin was relieved that he would be doing something like this instead of fighting the sabertooth on his own. He was okay with that, and he just cracked his neck as he looked over at Ren who was already ready to jump when it was his time to shine. He just heard him speak about the appearance of the sabertooths which meant it was time to start this little team work of theirs. He just took his bow out as he just had his carpet followed the group, and waiting for Gin to start it off.

He had his arrow out, and it was the arrow he had that was the strongest of them all. He just smiled as Gin was ready to start this. Yuurei just looked at him as he was wondering what kind of magic he would be using. That was when he saw it, and he was amazed about the sound magic that was being used. It was sent flying towards the sabertooths, and they stopped their movements as they were hit by the attacks. They could only shake their head from the pain they had felt resonating through their head, and could only wonder where it had come from.

They were already in the hands of their attackers, and yet they couldn’t react to what was going to happen. He looked at Ren as he knew his friend would do this now. ”Make sure you get at least twenty five meters away. I will be at your stopping point after I let go of this arrow,” he warned his friend. He just turned his attention now to the four sabertooths as his arrow was ready to be release, and sent flying to the group of animals who were trying to attack Imuchakk’s village.

Ren moved to the side of the carpet as the magician got up. He seemed nervous but Ren knew that the guy would pull through and play his part no matter the cost. He felt a bit of trust towards the magician since their adventure in the cavern but he still had to earn his place in this group of friends. He watched as the magician got his footing and pointed the staff in front of him. He seemed to be focusing as he called out the word Bell blast. Ren couldn’t see anything happen but he turned his direction towards the Saber tooth’s as a sound came from down there. They all seemed to have stopped in their tracks which intrigued Ren quite a bit. This magician used a sort of wind spell or sound. That was rather useful, he’d seen such attacks before but never so up close.

Now it was his time to shine. Looking at the magician he grinned and patted him on the back. ”Great Job, Now my time to shine.” Turning towards the beasts, his face hardened as he jumped off the edge of the carpet. He landed a few meters away from the beasts but without saying a word, his face hardened as he ran at full speed right towards them. The beasts were still dazed from the attack but spotted Ren as he ran at top speed towards the beasts. They were nervous but fixed their stance, prepared for a head on attack. Little did they know that Ren wasn’t aiming for such an easy opening. Just as he got within five meters, One of the saber tooths barked and jumped up to attack him.

He was quick to kick the ground at full power and send himself flying up past the beasts. Reaching thirty meters in the air he yelled out at the top of his lungs. ”LET THE EARTH DEVOUR YOU!” Within seconds he came crashing down right towards the center of the group of dazed saber tooths. The ground cracked and broke apart beneath his feet as the shockwave created from his impact travelled around the entire area around him covering 30 meters. Rocks could be seen coming out of the ground along with boulders, dirt and snow colliding with the beast as they lost their footing and received heavy damage.

Taking a quick breath he took another leap out of the center of the pack of damaged saber tooths and sprinted towards the carpet. As soon as he’d get within range of the carpet, He would leap up and grab onto the edge and attempt to pull himself on while nodding at Yuurei to let him know his time was now.

Gin was amazed by what he had done below. The snow debris that was kicked up had dispersed to reveal the dazed sabertooths, but Ren didn't give them a chance to recover as he dropped from the carpet without needing it to lower. He was a mad man in Gin's eyes. The magician watched as the red haired wonder ran towards the enemies bearing 'fangs' of his own.

He made a jump that was important for a normal human to accomplish and when he came crashing down, the area shook, cracked and kicked up even more snow. Such power made Gin's spell seem so small and insignificant. Gin awed as such power, but he shook his head, not wanting to be distracted, he kept focused, his grip tight around his staff.

It was difficult to spot Ren, even with his red hair. Before the snow settled, Ren appeared again, but this time hanging from the side of the carpet, "Wonderful work" Gin told the red haired man before turning his attention to the snow cloud that was now settling. Hopefully the sabertooths were done for.

Gin noticed movement and from his point he had heard one let out a roar... hurt, but a roar nonetheless. Damn these things were persistent. He turned to Yuurei, hoping he would be able to put in a hand in ending them.

Yuurei had looked at what his friend had done after Gin had gotten his hands on them. That was interesting to see such devastating power coming from Ren, and it just inspired him to be able to have train himself into having such raw power. Still he knew that having his arrows was the best thing, and he just watched his friend run from the mess he had made. That was good, and he just waited for Ren to make his way to the carpet, and when he did he had moved up into the air, and smiled as it was his turn to change the scenery of this cold arctic land.

The Dungeon Capturer had released his arrow right under the group, and smiled as this was what he had been waiting for. His arrow was moving so fast it would never give the beast time to react even if they could. He just placed his bow back on his back as only one word escaped his lips. ”Explosion,” he whispered as the arrow had hit its mark on the leader of the pact, and then from there the sound of an explosion occurred right there. He had moved his carpet away from the scene as he didn’t want anybody to get hurt by such an attack.

The explosion was huge as it had ranged from a twenty five meter radius all around. ”Well I doubt they survived that explosion,” he smiled as he waited for the explosion to finish. It didn’t take long as most of the snow was gone on that area, and the bodies of the sabertooths were burn to crisp by the attack. He didn’t want to kill them, but he had no choice or they would have just continued to try and attack Imuchakk. He just looked at the other two, and wonder what kind of things they would be able to accomplish together in the future.

”Do you think we should be on our way now? We finish the sabertooths again, and this time we can actually collect our reward, and won’t have to worry about them showing up again,” he said as he turned his carpet to the direction of the village. He was ready to leave the place as he didn’t have to worry about any of those animals being resurrected from the dead.

After reaching the carpet, his attack was followed by the finishing touch. Pulling himself onto the carpet he felt some hot winds pass him as he turned only to find a huge blast going on behind him. He was impressed and could only assume that the attack had come from the archer himself.

He wasn’t entirely shocked since he had known what his friend was capable of. But to be able to finish off even the pack leader was something Ren couldn’t have done no matter how hard he tried. It would’ve taken more than one silly demolishing attack.

Looking at both his friends he grinned and patted them along the back. ”Well I guess you can say that we are done here, great work gentleman. Now let’s go get some food cause I am starving.” His stomach grumbled in response.

The snow dispersed and revealed the group of wild cats below, injured and trying to get back on their feet. Gin looked to Yuurei as he released the knock of his bow. The arrow shot downward, Gin had a feeling he should keep his eye sight away from the scene and no sooner did Yuurei command the carpet to fly away that the explosion occurred.

The heat wave from the explosion caused the carpet to lift a bit, but maintained it's control as if continued to fly. Safe, objective completed, the day is done, but Gin still hugged the carpet face first, not wanting to release his grasp, his fear of heights was still there, but the sight was still amazing.

Yuurei's suggestion in leaving gave Gin the reason to sit up, excited, " I agree, this place is wonderful and all" Gin took a look around at the tundra before turning back to Yuurei, "But the cold is too much for a person like me who is use to warmer temperatures", it was the truth, such a climate had caused him to be sick in bed for the first few days due to the fact that his body was trying to adjust to such a temperature change.

Now that he thought about it, Gin wondered what was the reason for arriving at such at place. At first he remembered it was just 'on the whim' sort of thing, but thinking more into it, he figured it was meant to be in order to meet these two characters; Ren and Yuurei. It must have been the rukh that have brought him here, to them, but for what purpose? He didn't know, but for the moment, he had to continue on in order to find out.
