Cooking for Tall People

Yuurei was in the village again, but this time he was here to do a job in their home. He was a bit nervous this time as he knew this time there would be a lot of people around him. He just couldn’t believe he was going to cook for the people of Imuchakk. He knew he couldn’t mess up, and he was going to make food out of something called a rampaging unicorn. It was pretty weird, and he never heard of that before till he took on this job. He had noticed that their chief was in the crowd of people he was going to serve. He didn’t know who she was, or even heard about her, but they were talking about her and how she was their chief.

He did like the way she looked, and she was clearly hot even though she was really tall. He shook his head as he had to clear his mind, and start cooking. He had noticed that the unicorn was already ready to be cook. He just had to season it to his liking, and he was going to have to make sure that he roast the unicorn right, so it would keep the flavor, and not taste burnt all at the same time. Yuurei had experience with that as he had lived in a village all of his life. He was good with hunting, and even preparing his meal.

He started seasoning the dead beast, and moving its body parts around. He had smiled as it was time to cut this animal into smaller pieces as he was going to give them to a few people to eat. He was quick to do all of this, and started to roast them. He put them on sticks as he was able to move them around, and around. This wasn’t fun, but it was the best way to make things. He couldn’t leave it in one spot, or it would burn, and he didn’t want them to eat it like that. He was multi tasking as he was trying to get everything to be cooked right.

Yuurei was doing this for quite a while as he looked outside, and noticed that there a lot of people sitting there waiting. He just looked at the meat as it was ready to be served to the people. He had took the big chunks of meats had cut, and placed them in a huge dish. He grabbed the dish, and brought it out, so everybody could see it. He placed it on the table in front of them, and just looked at everybody. They all looked at him, and it was weird. He just waited as they started to eat the unicorn. He could only stand there waiting for them to say something about his cooking.

They kept eating the meat, and he was happy about it, but he couldn’t smile because they didn’t say anything about it. ”This is indeed different than what our chef would make it, but this is great still. You have out done yourself human. Thank you for stepping in, and making us an amazing meal,” he was complimented on his work, and he was thrown a bag of money. Yuurei was quick to catch it as he walked out of there, so they could enjoy their food.
