Description: The caster sends out a giant shard of ice that is 1.5m long and .5m thick from the tip of their staff. On impact with a target whether it be terrain or a person it will explode on impact in a 5m radius dealing D Tier damage and covering the areas afflicted in a thick ice, slowing them for two posts or until broken with D Tier damage.

Requirements/Drawbacks: The user must chant the name of the spell and tap their staff onto the ground.
Scaling: AoE ( +5m )

Description: The caster sends out a line of ice that can travel up to 3m out from the bottom of their staff that explodes into a large circle of ice shaped like a snow flake with a radius of 5m in the desired location. The ice will cause anything it touches to stick to it and freeze. It takes roughly half a second for it to reach the target and create the circle. Anything standing in the circle has their feet frosted over and can not move for one post or until broken with D Tier strength. If supplied with enough magoi it will become 5m larger in size.  The circle will melt after one post.

Range: Close ( 1m )
Requirements/Drawbacks: The user must chant the name of the spell and tap their staff onto the ground.
Scaling: AoE ( +5m )
Sustain: 0

Cost: 10 magoi | 5 magoi
Description: The caster raises a large, .5m thick, 2.2m tall ice wall in front of them to defend against incoming attacks. The max range it can be raised is 1m away from the caster. After it is hit it will break and shatter. The shatter effect deals no damage. The wall will shatter after one post or if hit by an attack or ability. It raises almost instantly and if provided with enough magoi it will grow 5m wider in size.

Description: The caster shoots a small .2m ice shard out of the tip of their staff that travels a max distance of 10m and deals D Tier damage. If provided with additional magoi it will increase the amount of shards shot by one.




First time making spells! Exciting! Hopefully everything checks out okay. If there's any way I can buff them let me know if you think of anything. Big thanks to whoever grades these. ❤

Sorry to rain on the parade but Ariel missed some stuff.

Bufula:

There is no such thing as C-tier speed, but even if there was, that information doesn't belong int the requirements/drawbacks section.

You say a "giant" shard, but don't give the dimensions. What is the actual size?

How big is the AoE of the explosion?

Why is it able to deal C-tier damage and apply an effect when its only a C-tier ability? The damage should only be D-tier if the potency is split between an offensive and supplementary effect.

There is no standard "D-tier slow" effect. So just give a text description of what's causing a slowing. For example, a thin layer of ice covering the struck area that requires D-tier strength to break.


Masukunda:

Same as above with there not being a standardized D-tier slow effect. That and the info about it being able to grow larger also doesn't belong in the requirements/drawback section but rather in the description section.

How far can the line travel? How big is the initial circle before scaling?

Use text description to explain the effect of a layer of ice forming on the target's feet that requires D-tier strength to break free.


Tetrakarn:

You've got info in the requirements/drawback section that belongs in the description instead again.

How wide is the wall? How far away from you can it form?


Bufu:

What is the range of how far away the ice spike can be formed?


Mabufu:

Same issues as above with there not being a D-tier speed and info that should be in the description being in the requirements for some reason.

How small is the shard?

Since it's a smaller shard, you can get away with a farther range than 3m. Smaller projectiles generally have longer ranges.
