Last Meeting of the Red and Blue [Private|Noir] Tumblr_static_tumblr_static_4l0xlgbios6co8gssk4scww0c_640

The dungeon had crumbled from the sky, only a few days ago and everything was back to normal in Heliohapt. Noir told Dynatos that Yakuroro was going into the dungeon with her. Something not even Dynatos got a chance to do. The Fanalis man sat at the gate to Heliohapt. He was sitting with his back to the wall analyzing every person who walked by.

Dynatos had been coming here every day since the dungeon disappeared. Each day ended the same, with no sight of Yakuroro. Not even Noir had returned yet. Dynatos wasn't worried. No he was anxious, extremely anxious. He didn't know what he was going to say to Yakuroro. His dear friend he hadn't seen in years.

"Where are they."

The black haired girl adjusted the scarf that was wrapping her neck so it would cover her nose and lips more to avoid her from inhaling sands and dusts. It was not even long ever since Yakuroro passed away and she still wanted to be there for a little bit, but Noir thought she would need to go back to the town for a bit to get some supplies until she was done with her business there with Solomon once in a while. However even until Solomon's training was done, the black haired girl still stayed there for a bit to look after the grave. She still had not find the will to go away from there until she made her resolutions...

When she arrived at the city gate, she noticed a beggar sitting there and thinking that she should at least share some fortune for him. Her liger would be following her from behind, protecting Noir from anything that might harm her, including the beggar if turned it was a scam. When she approached the man that she thought was a beggar, the female magician was surprised to see someone that she knew. “Mr. Dynatos?” She called her name with a soft tone, “Why are you here?”

Dynatos stared into the distance. All he could see was sand, as the rush of people for the day ended. He began to see a silhouette of a group of people. A sense of excitement swelled within him. As they became more and more clear the excitement turned into disappointment. It was just a group of desert dwellers, who were coming to Heliohapt simply for supplies. Dynatos closed his eyes and sighed.

A voice broke the silence that Dynatos had been trapped in. His eyes shot open and his gaze jerked up. "Noir!" Dynatos quickly stood up. "I've been waiting for you and Yakuroro ever since the dungeon disappeared. Dynatos didn't see his old friend however. "Where is Yakuroro anyway?" The look on Dynatos's face was calm, yet his eyes told a different story. His anxiety was reaching its peak.

Noir was surprised to hear that from the red haired man, being waited by someone like this was truly something that she never really experienced before. However the man was not really waiting for her it seemed... he was waiting for the blue haired man. She had given him a false hope, saying that perhaps he could meet his old friend after the dungeon was done. But Yakuroro was no longer here, no longer able to see Dynatos and what she said about he would be happy to see the redhead, was only something that would never happen.

"Mr. Dynatos..." She called his name softly and looked into his crimson eyes, locking her own topaz orbs there. There was something in his eyes that made Noir's heart aches even though his face didnt show it, but the black haired girl knew that he at least need to see Yakuroro. "Would you come with me? I need to show you something..." She asked, her expression was flat but Dynatos would be able to see a little bit sadness and remorse there although a quick glance would not let him able to notice.

Dynatos was taken back. Instead of telling the Fanalis where his old friend was she told him to follow her. Dynatos watched Noir's face, analyzed her tone; anything he could do to figure what was going on. The only thing he caught a glimpse of was sadness and remorse in her eyes. This made him feel uneasy. Dynatos couldn't help but comply with what Noir wanted. He clenched his jaw and smiled somberly.

"Guess I don't have much of a choice..." The words of Dynatos were hesitant. He however followed behind Noir. All he could hope for was the best, but he was ready to face the worst. Which was the death of his longest friend. Dynatos shook the thought from his mind. There's no way. The words repeated in his head over and over again as he followed behind the topaz eyed woman.

The black haired girl’s heart was pounding; she felt some kind of strange feeling as she led the redhead to where Yakuroro was at. There was a million things in her head, imagining how Dynatos would react when he finally meet the blue haired man, imagining the words that would come out from his lips. It was regret that she felt and sadness, mixed with some drop of worries. She was the cause; she was the one to be blame perhaps. But the thing that she could do for now was to bring Dynatos to where he could see Yakuroro.

After spending some time walking instead of riding Haku, Dynatos would find himself to see a big tree in the middle of the desert. Near the tree was the remaining of the dungeon even though it didn’t shaped like one anymore, it was just some kind of ruins and nothing could be found there. The black haired girl would then keep leading the way, “This way.” She said as she began to walk to behind the tree.

There was a tomb made from a glass that Noir made by striking the sands with her lightning magic and if Dynatos noticed, there would be a name engraved on the tomb. He would easily recognize the name on the tomb and perhaps, he wouldn’t take the reality that lies in front of him in a good way.

“I am sorry…” Noir looked down and closed her eyes, “I am so sorry… I caused his death… with my own hands.” She bit her lower lip as she confessed to the Fanalis, waiting for him to react as she silenced herself

The two walked and walked. Dynatos was silent the entire time Noir led him. He didn't know what to expect nor what was going on. All he knew was that they were getting farther from Heliohapt. Dynatos noticed that Noir chose not to ride Haku. He also noticed that she never looked at him, or spoke a word herself. Many thoughts were going through the head of Dynatos; the most notable was that Noir obviously was burdened by something.

Soon the two would reach the old ruin if the dungeon and a large tree. It was in that moment the first words were spoken between the two. Dynatos continued to follow Noir behind the tree. What he saw, he couldn't process. There was a tomb. On that tomb was a name. Yakuroro. Dynatos's face remained blank. His emotions went into a frenzy. He didn't know what to say or how to feel. The only thing he could do was stand there.

Noir added another blow by saying she killed Yakuroro, with her own hands. Dynatos could no longer keep his composure. While his outer appearance seemed calm, inside of him was a storm of massive proportions. The rukh felt that and began erupting from him and swirling around him. Something however was wrong with the rukh. Some of it had become black and had be overtaking its normal golden hue.

Dynatos slid in his hands and began walking towards Noir. His intentions, to cause her pain. She would be able to feel the malice emanating from Dynatos. Step by step Dynatos approached her. When he reached the Magician the rukh had completely turned black. Just as Dnyatos reached out his massive hand to grip Noir a single golden rukh floated past his eyes. He could've sworn he heard Yakuroro's voice.

Suddenly the rukh that swirled around him turned back to its golden color and dispersed. Dynatos placed his outstretched and on the shoulder of Noir gently. "It's not your fault." The words came softly as he continued to walk past Noir. Dynatos reached the tomb stone and kneeled down placing his hand on it. "You were the same through and through I see."

Noir’s heart was pounding faster than before, something sent a shiver on her spine and her mind was telling her to run or to protect herself. The feeling was similar to what she felt before and Haku who was already fell into a deep sleep, awakened because of the strange feeling that he felt. The liger knew this similar feeling from the Fanalis, something had changed but being a liger who didn’t really know much about all the things happened in the world, he had no idea what was causing it. However Noir could guess it, Yakuroro’s death might have given a huge slap to Dynatos and he must felt something towards the black haired girl who confessed to him as the cause of his friend’s death.

At the corner of her eyes, Noir could see black rukh, a huge amount of it fluttering around the redhead. She was not scared but she could tell that she needed to protect herself or at least get away from it. The black rukh bear a different kind of feeling from those people with black rukh that she met before, this one and Yakuroro’s rukh felt dangerous, as if you could be drowned into depravity and your soul would be tainted with black ink.

Being a natural born magician made Noir able to see the color of the rukh and when this single golden colored rukh floated, the black haired girl stared at it. It seemed that the golden rukh turned back Dynatos’ rukh color as it was no longer black, “It changed…?” She murmured to herself, noting the scene to her head and knew that she needed to learn more about it. A single white rukh released her from the darkness before and perhaps what she witnessed from Dynatos was the same thing happened to her as well although she was not sure.

Noir’s body jolted when the Fanalis placed his hand on her shoulder, her body no longer had this shiver on her spine unlike when the man in front of her got his rukh tainted into black colored one. His words echoed softly on her ears, her eyes widened because he said that it was not her fault and she could only stayed still as Dynatos reached Yakuroro’s tomb and kneeled down. Her mind was still trying to figure out the meaning of his word, how could it was not her own fault when she was the one who thrust her scythe right into the Imuchakk’s body? Perhaps he knew about Yakuroro’s depravity? She was not sure about anything, people were strange… and the fact that what she thought would happen was not happening, made her even more confused.

“…” Noir would then stared at the thing beside Yakuroro’s tomb, a greatsword and a staff would be standing tall there, covered by a thick ice so that no one could take those that easily. “That greatsword and staff… was his.” The black haired girl said as she pointed her wand towards the items and the ice around it suddenly shattered into pieces as she no longer feeding her magoi into it. Her hands grabbed both items, the greatsword on her right hand and the staff on her left hand. “I want you to keep it and I will keep this staff, if that is okay…” She would give the greatsword to the man, hoping he would take it.

Dynatos stood and turned to Noir, as she began to talk. He had taken notice to the great sword and staff frozen in place. However, he omitted them from his mind when he realized this was his old friends grave. Dynatos heard the ice begin to break when Noir lifted her staff. The Fanalis man quickly turned to see the ice shatter;the weapons becoming freed from their prisons.

Dynatos approached Noir and took the great sword from her. As soon as he did the Ruhk once again began swirling around him. "Guess you'll still be with me." He mumbled to himself; talking as if the blade were Yakuroro himself. "I will cherish this sword forever. I feel that Yakuroro truly left this weapon for me..." Dynatos chuckled at himself. "Maybe I'm just saying that to make myself feel better."

Dynatos stepped past Noir. He gripped his new sword with both hands and rose it above his head. He swung it vertically towards the sand. The powerful and swift blow caused the sand to split for at least 10 meters. Dynatos smiled and gripped it with his right hand. He began swinging it different ways, with each swing the air could be heard cracking. "This truly is a wonderful blade."

Dynatos turned back to Noir. "Well what I planned on doing has changed. I suppose I'll travel with you until I figure out what it is I wish to do. I have a few ideas, but I'll need to travel to accomplish and meet more people to accomplish those goals." Dynatos had one goal for as long as he could remember and that was finding his parents. That had changed into something greater over time.

He wanted to create a place for all Fanalis. A place that they could thrive as a race...as a people. "Hope you don't mind Noir." Dynatos said with a smile. Dynatos removed Megalos from his holster and placed his new unnamed weapon there instead. He approached Yakuroro's tomb again and jammed Megalos into the ground next to it. "You were the best king..." With those words he turned back to Noir.

As Dynatos took the sword and tried to swing it several time, Noir was content and she would observe the man adapting his grip of the sword before she stared at Yakuroro’s staff. She didn’t know for sure if she should take it or not, for the only reason that she wanted to keep it was only because to remind her that she was the one who ended his life. Judging from how Dynatos felt about Yakuroro made her think that maybe the Imuchakk was an entirely different person before she met him.

Noir turned her back towards the Fanalis when he complimented the sword, stating that the blade was wonderful. For all these years that she spent from living with her guardian who worked as a blacksmith made her able to see that the blade was indeed a very good one even though she didn’t really have a solid knowledge about it. Then the redhead said something that was rather surprising for the golden eyed girl, to think that this man would like to travel with her, the one who had ended his friend’s life, was quite… confusing.

The magician shook her head and said, “No, I don’t mind. But what makes you decide that, Mr. Dynatos? You want to travel with me, the person that you are supposed to be your target of revenge…” She sighed and then she would sit between Yakuroro’s grave and Haku before continuing, “I… cant help but to think that Yakuroro that you know and Yakuroro that I know is different, would you be kind enough to tell me about what kind of person he is that you know?”

The two stood in silence for a moment, as Noir was silent. Dynatos walked past Noir. He was ready to get going. He'd been in Heliohapt for over 7 years and was ready to see the world. The words of Noir stopped his progression. Dynatos could hear the uncertainty in her voice. Dynstos turned to face Noir. He had a confused expression on his face.

"Why would I want revenge? Even a child would be able to tell that there must have been some good reason. Otherwise you wouldn't be standing here right now; you sure wouldn't have brought me here, or given me this weapon." Dynatos shook his head. "This might be wrong of me to say, but stop being so emotional. If there wasn't a reason for it, you wouldn't have done it. Plain and simple."

Dynatos placed his hand on his chin. "Hmm, eccentric is a good way to put it. Maybe giant teddy bear would be better." Dynatos laughed. "He was a wonderful man. That truly cared for the well being of his friends. Even if it meant he'd come to harm. He was a jokester to. I probably wouldn't be this open if it wasn't for him." Dynatos shrugged.

"But who knows. I once told him I wanted to create a place for Fanalis to live in peace, and he pushed me towards that goal. More than anyone had." He paused. "That's the kind of person he is and will remain."

The black haired girl nodded before she looked down to the ground, clueless about how she should act. "Thank you for telling me that, I am not sure if what I felt and what I thought is correct or not." With a soft sigh, Noir would stare right into Dynatos' eyes and continued, "Please teach me more if you dont mind. I am learning how to be a normal people now, so if you have any guidance or if you see me doing something that is not normal, feel free to scold me." She spoke what was on her mind, although she didnt know how the Fanalis would take her words. For her who spent most of her childhood as a slave until she was a teenager, she couldnt really socialize like a normal people and tend to not knowing about what was right and wrong. She simply learned from the book, imitating people and mostly, by using instinct.

"However, I understand what you mean now. Yet, I wished to meet the Yakuroro that you knew… I I feel that I could learn more from him."
The female magician smiled a little bit and grabbed the staff of storm, observing its beauty. She felt the power from the staff, noticing yellow and white rukh came to flutter around the magic staff. A very strong staff indeed, it had the mix of lightning and wind inside, probably Noir would need some time to learn on how to use the staff if she wanted to release it full potential. “May I ask the reason why you want to create a place for Fanalis, Mr. Dynatos?”

Dynatos remained in the same spot he had been. He looked down a little bit and rubbed the back of his head; his eyes closed. "Funny that you're asking a Fanalis how to be a normal person." Dynatos looked back and Noir, returning the gaze she gave him. "In this world there are no normal people. You define what's normal and what isn't. So I can't tell you what normal is l. You'll have to find that out for yourself."

"I think scolding you will be the last thing I do Noir." Dynatos smiled at Noir. "I'm pretty sure you learned from Yakuroro in some way, despite what you may think." It suddenly dawned on Dynatos that Noir had been adding "Mr" to his name. "Before I answer that, stop calling me Mr Dynatos." He said with a chuckle. "Why not? We were taken from our home and thrown into slavery."

"Our entire race to this day is being treated worse than animals. We don't have anywhere we can truly call home. There isn't a place that we truly fit into. Either we are forced to wander the globe, fight, or work until we die." Dynatos clenched his fist. "I want my people to truly know peace." As he spoke his fist became un-clenched.

“I understand.” Noir said as her response to Dynatos’ words, slightly disappointed that again, she would need to find out by herself. Perhaps more adventure, meeting more people and indulging in some events could help her to find out and learn about what she wanted to learn. She was surprised when the Fanalis gave his response about scolding her, taken aback of what he said and couldn’t help but let out a giggle; perhaps her first laugh ever since she came out from the last Dungeon. “Yakuroro taught me a lot of thing, so I am still grateful that I could meet him. And are you sure it is fine for me to call you by your name? Only friend could call you by your own name, isnt it?”

She would listen to his answer tentatively, trying to understand his words and she got it, as if the words that used to be in her mind was being said again by this Fanalis in front of her. “I understand, Fanalis and Imuchakk race are very valuable amongst the other races; that was what I could say after being a slave for several years.” She sighed and looked up to the sky, “I wish for every slavery system in every country could be dropped… and I want to be involved in the purging process… I believe all races should be free.” Quite a big dream for someone that didn’t look very strong, but Noir wanted to erase that and in order to do it, she knew she should be stronger and smart enough to do it. “However, when you are managed to create that haven for Fanalis, it would be sad because I might not be able to see you, the founder of that haven anymore because I am not a Fanalis.”

Dynatos shook his head. "In my case formalities such as those aren't 'normal'." He said joking with a slight laugh. Dynatos could tell that Noir was feeling upset and he was trying to lighten her mood. "However how couldn't I call someone who was a student and friend of Yakuroro a friend myself." Dynatos smiled at Noir. "Besides I'd call you a friend anyway. You found me in those ruins and brought me back to this world. I couldn't Thank Yo enough for that."

"Well that and you kept an eye on Yakuroro while I was away." It seemed that Noir held similar views as Dynatos. Hers were more focused on everyone as opposed to just one race. Dynatos felt a little selfish, but only for a brief second. It wasn't as if he endorsed slavery after all. "I agree. Slavery as a whole should be abolished." He laughed and smiled once more at Noir's statement.

"It won't be closed of to purely Fanalis. That would be silly. There are people who don't harm Fanalis and view them as normal people. Similar to how Magnostadt is home for Magicians, but still have those who aren't. Oikos will be home majorly Fanalis, but open to all." Dynatos walked over to Noir and placed his hand on her head. "You will be welcome there any time." Dynatos then realized something.

He should take over Yakuroro's position as Noir's teacher. "Noir I may not be able to help you in ways Yakuroro had, but I feel like I have many things to teach you he couldn't. Guess I'll be taking over his role as your Teacher after all." Dynatos removed his hand and whistled loudly. It was a unique whistle that only a certain beast would hear. "Now I wonder how close to us they are..." Dynatos mumbled.

This man was very pure; all the words that came out from his lips made the girl felt something. It gave shivers on her spine as well because Dynatos was not like most of the people that she had met. He bore a similarity to Solomon, at least from the time where Noir met him for the first time back then. He was a pure soul with justice in his heart, as well as the redhead. Yakuroro must be a similar person back then, she was sure that his rukh was not tainted like that. That made her wonder about how the black rukh could drive someone from his pure state into depraved state, as she knew that having black rukh didn’t always mean that a person was bad.

The black haired girl would then approach the man before opening her arms right after he whistled, hugging him if he let her to do it for just several second. He smelled like a wildflower because there was this strength and ability to survive in this man. White rukh fluttered around him as if they were dancing, happy to be around this man. “You are pretty loved…” Noir said as she stepped back, “You must be a very kind man. ” She would pause for a bit, suddenly remembering something, “Oh, I didn’t see Ares and Athena today…? They didn’t come with you?”

Meanwhile in the far, tiny little beast was making her way towards where Noir, Dynatos and Haku were. She escaped from her owner for freedom after choosing the master that she wanted to devote herself to, now hoping to meet her chosen master… but the sand and heat made it not easy for her. However she knew that if she didn’t try her best now, she would get caught again and be sold to the person that she didn’t wish to be her master. The beast was not aware that some of the beast of the sand was targeting her; it was not every day they could get a food to survive in the sand…

Ares had been following Athena's instruction. The two had been tracking Dynatos and Athena was using the ruhk to locate him. A whistle echoed across the sands. Ares head snapped, as he looked directly in the direction of the noise. He knew that tone all to well. Immediately registering it was Dynatos, Ares took off. Athena, who was almost thrown off, gripped Ares mane tightly.

Her body floating in the wind that Ares produced from his stampede. While running towards their Master, Ares and Athena saw a small fox. The small tan creature looked like it was running for its life. Athena tapped into the Ruhk and saw that it indeed was running for its life. She relayed the message to Ares. In stride Ares turned, grabbed the creature by its fur using his mouth, and continued on his original course.

Noir suddenly hugged Dynatos. However he didn't know how to react, so he stood there. Dynatos rubbed the back of his head and laughed. "If so that's news to me." Dynatos shrugged. "I'm kind to those who deserve kindness...if that makes sense." Just as Noir mentioned Ares and Athena they would come running up next to Dynatos. Ares set the small fox down and began nuzzling his head into Dynatos.

Athena flew off of Ares and landed on the head of Dynatos. "Well hello to you both to." He placed a hand on each of them respectively and petted them. Dynatos took notice of the fox and looked at Ares with a confused look. "And what do we have here?"

The little fox was surprised when a big beast grabbed her, fearing that the creature would eat her alive. She could try to fight back so she decided to stay still, limping her body so the huge beast would think that she fainted and waited until he was off guard to enhance her strength to attack. However it seemed that fate was in her side, who could have thought that she could meet her chosen master right away? The creature with her golden fur stood up as the beast set her down, staring as the beast nuzzling a man that maybe was his master.

“Oh…” Noir kneeled down and motioned Haku to approach her as she saw a familiar figure just near to Ares. “Hello there, little one.” She greeted and reached her hand, welcoming the little fox to her hand. The fox would squeak softly and climbed Noir’s hand before made her way to the black haired girl’s neck, nuzzling her nose against the magician’s cheek. “She was a little fox that I found in the city before… I gave her back to her respectful owner, but it seemed she escaped again.” The fox stared at her with a worried look, but Noir wouldn’t quickly judge the fox for her intention to escape from her owner. She would then use her Beast Tamer Bracelet to speak with the little creature, “So, why are you here?” Her voice was as soft as a cashmere and she gave no intention to scold her for her action anyways, instead, she gave her a soft pet on her head before giving her the chance to answer.

“He was going to sell me away anyways… So I thought I could try to find you and be yours, I like you, Miss! And I like your beast as well, both of you are so warm.”

It was surprising to hear that and Noir could only stare at the fox with a surprised look, wondering about what she should do with the owner. The last time she went to look for the owner and return the fox to him, the owner seemed happy but it was not like this happy feeling to see his lost pet once again. It was more like seeing something valuable that was missing again, the eye of someone who seek a fortune. She wouldn’t lie but she didn’t really trust the owner because he put his entire beast inside wooden boxes as he travels, so perhaps she could just take the fox with her right now. The owner must be looking for the fox though, so she would go see the owner soon and maybe give him the money so she could officially “buy” her.

“You are welcome to stay with us, however, I would need to meet with that man again…” She could see how much the worry in her face increasing and nuzzled her face with her cheek as she continued,”It is so I can pay him the money for taking you, if you don’t mind. We need to settle things right, okay?” The fox nodded and clung to Noir’s shoulder before bowing to Ares as if she was trying to say thank you.

“Do you have name?” Noir asked, wondering about the fox’s name because it will be so much easier to interact if she know her name. But the fox could only look down and shake her head before stating that she had no name as her purpose was only to be sold to someone as she was not an ordinary fox. The fox said that she was born in a fighter clan and one day she was kidnapped by unknown person. “Ever since I met you that day, I knew what name that I want to call you with… Kuzunoha.”

When the fox looked happy, Noir smiled at her and Haku would growl happily as well. The magician would then deactivate her bracelet before staring at Ares and Athena, “Thank you so much for bringing her here.” Her gaze would shift to Dynatos, “Thank you.”

Dynatos shrugged and shook his head. "No need to thank me." He patted the side of Ares. "He was the one that brought Kuzunoha to you. Not me." Athena excitedly flew over the small fox and began "talking" to her. Ares barked towards Haku, whom he hadn't seen in a long time. "Well I'm glad that they all get along." Dynatos said laughing. The Fanalis looked into the sky. He used his right hand to shield his eyes from the sun.

"Should we get going?" He asked looking back at Noir. "It appears we're all here. Besides I'm sure you don't want to keep standing here." Dynatos stretched, groaning loudly. "I've got some preparing to do, since I'm going to be traveling with you." Dynatos had only few supplies, but his most important one we wanted to pick up. It was his flying carpet. It would make their voyage much easier. Dynatos turned and began heading back to Heliohapt. He only assumed Noir was following behind him. "See you later Yakuroro." Dynatos waved to the tombstone, but didn't turn around to do so.

The black haired girl nodded, agreed with the man's opinion to prepare themselves before they started to travel together. She had been thinking about her next destination and perhaps going to Reim would be good... It would be better if she could see of she was really getting stronger by fighting some experienced gladiators first, it might be a good training for the Kodor test that she wanted to sign up as well later at Magnostadt. "Perhaps we can go to Reim after we done preparing? I want to visit the Coliseum..." The girl would let the little fox to sit on her shoulder before continuing, "After that... Magnostadt." She mumbled before turning her back to look at Yakuroro's tomb as she hugged the staff of storm tightly to her chest. 'May the flow lead you to a better place... See you soon, Yakuroro.'. Haku would nuzzle his face on her leg after that, offering her a sit on him as they go back to the city and she did so before letting out a soft sigh. Perhaps Sloth would be a good traveling partner...hopefully he wouldn't be tainted like some of her previous traveling partners.
