Magnostadt

Can you be born into Magnostadts academy? If so, when are you forced to take the kodor test as a child? Or are baby's not allowed into the academy?

The academy is an establishment inside the city of Magnostadt. So you aren't born into it. If you or your family didn't want you to study at the academy for some reason, no one will force you. That being said, it'd probably make you and your family seem quite strange to the other people living there. No family within Magno or outside its walls has the kind of magic teaching resources.

Upon entering the academy, the very first thing you do is get tested. Although it's not officially a "Kodor test" but rather, an entrance exam. Your performance determines which Kodor you start off in.
