As the people of Heliohapt continued to pass by the crimson eyes of the Fanalis boy, Endolf, would pass over them from one to the other. Resting his chin in his left hand he would circle the lip of the cup set on the table in front of him with the index finger of his right hand rather absentmindedly. The boy was rather happy to have found the small café he sat at back before his trip into the dungeon as it offered a decent amount of shade and fairly refresing drinks that were more than welcomed in the heat of the desert city. It also made a great spot for meeting with people, like he planned to do today. Before parting ways at the end of their previous encounter he had asked the girl Noir to meet with him so he could learn more from her. He simply sat in comfort while he waited to see if she would arrive, unarmed of any weapons save for the gold and teal colored gauntlet on his left forearms. It was possibly a foolish idea of his to leave his weapons back at the inn he had been staying at but he hoped it wouldn’t be needed. Noir seemed to be the kind of person he could trust, especially after saving her life, and her pet Haku seemed to like him as well.

The black haired girl felt horrible like her head was being hit by something hard and her stomach felt like it was being mixed together, making her wanting to force herself to let it out so she could feel better. It was unpleasant feeling and she just woke as well, which would definitely ruin her day in the city of sun. Being a considerate companion, the white colored liger approached Noir before softly nuzzling her arm while decreasing his body temperature so the girl could at least feel better since he thought it was all caused by the hot temperature of Heliohapt. It was not really the case actually as she was a slave in this country before and she already knew the temperature in the country, not to mention that her body was kind of used to quickly adapting to any kind of environment due to her past as a slave that require her to move around to many kind of place.

Tea was her savior as it made her feel better already by only sipping it a little bit, letting the warmth to calm her stomach and the relaxing scent to ease her headache. Although she ended up vomiting what her stomach had inside right after, it made her feel better and she was strong enough to go out today. She had a promise with this Fanalis man after all and it would be inappropriate if she didn’t show up, so after she took a refreshing shower, she would quickly head out to the place where she met the Fanalis in the previous day by mounting her liger. However Haku sniffed something and seemed know where to go, so he walked away from that place to a small café before entering it to look for the redhead. Once she and her beast saw the man, Haku would head there while Noir would greet her by the time she was close enough. “Greetings, Mr.Endolf…”

The boy’s lips paused, hovering above the rim of his cup and the crimson liquid inside of it as he could hear a voice address him. Greeting him with a simple “Greetings Mr. Endolf.”. Truthfully he wasn’t certain how he felt about being referred to as “Mr.” but for the moment he decided to ignore it. Placing his cup back down to the table top before him he turned his attention to the direction of the voice, viewing Noir and Haku approaching him with the feline leading and the girl trailing behind somewhat. From what he could see the girl didn’t exactly look all that well but he wouldn’t say anything. Instead he would wave over one of the servers as the two grew closer. “Bring me over a bowl of water for the cat and a glass of water for the girl will you?” He would instruct the server.

Sending the server away he would turn his attention back to Noir and Haku. “Hi Noir, hi Haku. Please sit. I was hoping you’d accept my offer and join me today. I really wanted to talk with you a bit more than we got to yesterday.” He would extend his hand across the table to the empty chair on the other side, indicating that he was offering her to sit down if she would like.

Haku was displeased by the fact that this Fanalis thought that he was a cat, but he was a finer breed than that and he was not just a cat. He was a proud liger, one of the survivor of his kind, the Thermal Liger. Once the server put the bowl of water in front of him, the obviously not happy feline would use his big paw and poke the bowl so it would be upside down. “Haku.” Noir called her liger’s name and made the beast’s body twitched, he could sense something in his master’s tone and whatever it was, if he didn’t be a good boy, Noir might scold him and hate him. So with a forced happy growl, the liger sit obediently and didn’t dare to look at the black haired girl.

“I apologize, the weather is hot and maybe my liger is kind of affected by it.” The female magician tried to explain, but she was also reminding the redhead that her beast was not a mere cat before she sat on the chair that Endolf indicate her to sit. “It is always fun to meet an acquaintance… so how do you want to start it…?”

The server returned as Noir and Haku came to join the Fanalis, placing the requested water before each of them before walking away. The redhead would, however, take notice of Haku’s seeming displeasure at being brought the sustaining liquid that was required to survive in the kingdom of Heliohapt. The large feline would use his paw to flip over the bowl and spill the water everywhere. The one action caused Noir to speak up to her companion, saying only his name with a kind of force that caused the creature to tense up and sit at attention. The black haired girl went on to address Endolf instead, claiming that her Liger was likely effected by the heat.

As she sat down she claimed that it was always fun to meet an aquaintance and ended by asking where he would like to start. However she had already managed to get him to move his seat back and rise out of it. Crouching the Fanalis began to study the feline. “A Liger? I’ve never heard of that breed of animal before.” He would continue to look at Haku with interest. “I could tell he was impressive but I didn’t know he was some kind of special breed of animal like that. You sure are lucky to have a partner like him Noir, I’d love to know where I could find one of my own.”

Reaching out he would then pick up the water bowl that the Liger had flipped over, placing it back on top of the table as he rose back up to his full height. “Anyway, I suppose the reason I asked you to meet with me is that you talked about some pretty interesting stuff when we met and I want to know more about it.” Endolf would then take his seat once more, his elbow resting on top of the table. “I want to know more about it. About this “Rukh” you told me about. I’d like to know just how you managed to tame a beast like Haku.” His face took on a sly smile as he gazed at her with a fierce, fiery determination in his eyes.

The liger, still having a hard feeling towards the Fanalis ended up ignored him when he was crouching. It was as seems that Endolf wanted to study him which make the beast who at least has some kind of intelligence to think about some stuff by himself realized that the redhead was indeed knew nothing about liger. The moment he placed the bowl back on top of the table, Haku growled towards him, but it was not in a harmful way, it was more into his desire of wanting to know more about this Fanalis. “Oh…I guess it is because the Thermal Liger is not fond of showing themselves to some strangers… I found him and his mother being attacked by some vicious beasts though.” She started to stare at the white furred beast, recalling the day when they met each other with the help of the king. “To find one, you have to know what kind of beast that you want to get…” Noir closed her eyes; still remember the scene where Haku’s mother could no longer being saved. “I spent time to learn about how to find a liger with the king’s guidance and he led me to their habitat after I see the beast encyclopedia. We arrived at the place and I guess we came at the right moment… or he would be dead too back then.”

The black haired girl would then tilt her head; this man who was sitting in front of her was ambitious. It was clear that he was thirsty to get knowledge, but she knew nothing about his intention after he got to learn about all this knowledge and she didn’t want to share it to the wrong person. “I can understand your desire to get as many knowledge as you can…” She paused a little bit before locking her golden eyes to Endolf’s pair of orbs as if she wanted to see right through it. ”However to me, that knowledge is important… I went through a long way to get it. So tell me, why should I share my knowledge to you? Perhaps there is some valuable knowledge that you have in your mind that I haven’t known and you are willing to trade it?” The female magician was being careful, she just met this man and he already wanted to know a lot of things. Perhaps she was just being an overly cautious person at the moment, however she didn’t want to share too much information to a wrong people.

Endolf kept his eyes locked on the woman across the table from him. There was nothing sexual to his gaze, no hint of lust. There was nothing that indicated he was interested in her herself. The fire in his gaze was one of someone who had discovered the potentials of what “knowledge” could result in. That fire continued to burn in his crimson eyes as he stared at Noir, only for it to flicker out in a blink as she asked him a question he hadn’t even asked himself yet. What was he planning to use that knowledge he wanted from her for? His arm that held his chin propped up slid away as he himself fell back into his seat. Silently the redhead would ponder this very question for a passing moment or two before finally speaking up to the raven haired girl.

“I don’t know.” It was a simple answer but a deep one still. “After Ronove, after dying in that dungeon, I realized just how single minded I’ve been. I don’t even know anything about my own race now that I think about it. If this “Rukh” is as powerful as you say it is, I want to know about it.” It was the most honest, level headed answer he could give Noir about why he wanted to learn about the Rukh.

“If you want to know why I want to know how you then it’s a simple matter. Loyalty. Haku seems to be a loyal companion to you. I haven’t gotten to learn what that is at all. I’d like a companion of my own, not specifically a Liger like yours of course.” Endolf would fall silent once again as an image surfaced in his mind. The wolf, the very one he saw when he “revived” outside of Ronove. He wasn’t certain why he was thinking of the majestic beast but the image was so vivid that he might as well have been face to face with the beast back inside the dungeon once more. “No. Haku is your companion and you are “The Girl with her Liger”. I suppose there’s another beast out there I want to become partners with.”

The black haired girl responded with a nod and a soft sigh, seeing how persistent this red haired man in front of her made her didn’t have any choices left. His eagerness resembled her from many months ago, the eagerness to know more about something that made them curious. However it was pretty surprising that he could remember being dying in the dungeon, she remembered that Solomon couldn’t even recall about it and for this Fanalis to be able to remember meant that he must possessed something unique within him. “Your race…is strong; you can even run faster than normal human. If I could relate it with an animal…then you might be a lion or a cheetah based from your speed and strength. However so far from the book that I’ve read, nothing mentioned about the origins of Fanalis.” She tried to think about some more stuff related to Fanalis but that was all the knowledge that she had for now. “Rukh is powerful depends on the people… but everyone can control the rukh that has been infused into a magic tool. Like your gauntlet, it is glowing with blue rukh and it means it has the gift from the nature in the form of water. ”

“It is not easy to gain loyalty… and what Haku has for me is not just simply a loyalty alone. We both are loyal to each other, we both know our own deepest fear and about everything.” Her hand would try to reach the beast and the liger would step closer so Noir’s hand could touch his head. Then Haku would nuzzle her hand and leaned his body against Noir’s leg. “Our relationship is not even the master and her beast kind; it is more into a family, a sibling that wants to protect each other. If the master and pet kind are the kind of relationship that you want, I apologize I don’t want to help you because it is what I went through when I was a slave.” Haku let out a growl as if saying that he agreed with Noir, after all of the thing that happened, they stick together and there was no way he would allow anyone to harm her. “You need to think about what kind of beast that you want… learn about this beast and try to meet the beast. Or you can just hope to meet one in your way home if fate allows you to have one. I was just lucky to be able to meet with the one that I want to meet…and—“

A loud sound of falling wooden boxes cut her words and based on her curiosity, Noir looked at the street where the sound came from. With a quick glance, it was just a mere wooden box, but if she observed more, she could see something popped up from it. She was curious and would keep looking at the box while the owner attempted to lift it up to his caravan and sighed before riding his caravan, proceeding to his destination. The black haired girl was disappointed to not being able to see more, she was curious about what was inside. She could swear that she saw something like a golden colored tail of an animal inside that box and she never saw an animal with such color before. “Hmm…” Noir would look back at Endolf and bowed her head down before saying, “I apologize for being distracted…” Just when she wanted to say another word, she could hear a loud squeaking sound and when she looked back at the spot where the box fell before, she couldn’t believe her eyes. It was a small animal and looked like a fox but the fur was golden and she could saw the bell on the neck, the fox looked scared and lost but no one was care or brave enough to approach the poor fox. With a sigh, the black haired girl would stand up and said, “Please give me a moment… Haku will keep you company…” She would quickly walk towards the fox while Haku stayed still, noticing the confused fox was going to be hit by a wagon and hasten her pace.

She wouldn’t be able to make it on time, so her hand quickly took her wand and skillfully command the rukh to produce a water that would be changed into ice once it dripped on the wagon’ wheel and forcefully made it stop. The female magician would wrap her hands around the fox and lifted the beast up before apologizing to the wagon’s driver for freezing up the wheels, informing that the ice would be gone soon and it was being proven when the ice melted from the wheels. “It will be dangerous if you are alone, little one. So bear with me until we can find your owner…” She said it while bringing the fox that was clinging to her, petting the small beast before she walked back to where Endolf and Haku were. “I apologize for the wait…I hope you don’t mind to have another guest with you here.”

The boy would listen as Noir’s lecture began. It seemed she wanted to start with his race, with the Fanalis. But from what he could hear there wasn’t much about them that she actually knew. Rumors of their physical abilities from the looks of it. Of course he himself was able to prove those rumors to be fact if she only wanted to ask. It seemed that her information had come from a book as well, but this book hadn’t contained anything about the true origins of his race and as such the lecture ended with only a mere possibility of some kind of animalistic ancestry relating to some beast like a lion or cheetah. He pondered this possibility for a moment, thinking of how it’d be kind of cool if that were in fact true. But the topic changed from their conversation about the Fanalis back to the subject that Endolf wanted to know more about. This thing called “The Rukh”.

Noir would explain that, depending on the person, the Rukh could be a powerful force. For anyone with a magical item, much like his own gauntlets and whip, it was something that could be used. This was what Endolf was beginning to grow hungry to learn about. If magic tools existed to let people use this powerful force then he wanted to know how to make the items. If the person decided how powerful their use of the Rukh was then he himself wanted to be the one to create his own weapons and items from now on and use it to his advantage. ‘Maybe if I had a better weapon, one that had more powerful Rukh, I wouldn’t even have a chance of failure in another dungeon’. These were the thoughts passing through his head and if Noir could hear them then she would most likely understand he knew even less about the Rukh than she would have first thought.

And as quickly as the topic had changed from the Fanalis race to the Rukh it had once again found itself coming to another topic. The bond between Noir and Haku. She would explain that their relationship was not one of master and pet but one of siblings. She also expressed her intent not to help him in any way if the master and pet relationship was one he was looking for, claiming that she had gone through such a relationship firsthand when she had been a slave. That had caught Endolf off guard. He hadn’t expected someone like her to have been a slave. She looked nothing like him or any of the other Fanalis he had come across. Nor did she look anything like any of the other slaves he had encountered while he was one himself. The liger let out a growl of some sort, bringing Endolf back to their conversation and away from his wondering thoughts of comparing Noir to his own past as a slave. She had begun talking about how he needed to think about what kind of beast he wanted to bond with first and then learn about it.

She would continue to speak only to stop short and excuse herself for a moment. The Fanalis boy had been able to hear what sounded like wood hitting the ground just before hand and wondered if she had gone to investigate it herself. Of course this had left him with the large Liger as his only company and realizing this he suddenly felt rather awkward about his situation. Was he supposed to talk to the beast? Would he seem foolish for doing so in the eyes of those passing on the street? His concern about the unusual situation was quickly dismissed however as he could once again feel a pair of eyes watching him, causing the hairs on the back of his neck to rise. Since he had awoken outside of Ronove he could feel the very same glare every now and then just as he was at that moment. He had a sinking suspicion on who, or rather what, the culprit was. The Fanalis boy would turn his head as he sat searching for the source of the intense glare he could feel. Unfortunately he hadn’t been able to concentrate long enough, or intensely enough, to find the source as Noir had returned several minutes with a small creature in her arms. A fox from what he could see. She apologized to him for making him wait and introduced the creature as “another guest”. As he opened his mouth to respond to her he could feel a tingle through the air around him, centered around the area to his right side. A feeling like the air back inside of Ronove with static and ozone that caused him to take a sharp look to see what could be causing it.

There, sitting patiently, was a single beast. A wolf with silver fur and large claws that acted as if nothing were out of the ordinary about the sudden situation that only looked at Endolf from the corner of it’s lighting blue colored eyes.

It seemed there was another guest that wanted to join them beside the fox that was just joined, Noir could see a unique looking wolf staring at them. She would tilt her head as she could feel the something from the wolf, she guessed it was the advantage of being a magician as she could see the rukh fluttering around the wolf. It was similar with the power that she felt in the last dungeon that she was in, Ronove. Solomon won the Djinn’s heart and luckily for her, she could exit the dungeon safely even though it did left her with a scar on her heart, something that she had to heal soon to regain her sanity back. “Does Ronove send you here, Mr. Wolf…? Are you lost…?” The black haired girl would talk to the wolf by using her magic item that let her to speak with a beast, the wolf itself would surely understand his creator’s name even if he didn’t understand the rest of the words. She was hoping that the wolf would come to her after she mentioned Ronove’s name, but while waiting for the wolf to come over, there was something that was much more important residing in her hands. With a caring gaze, the black haired girl would lift the tired fox, carefully checking for any wounds or injuries. Luckily there was no injuries on the fox’s body and the female magician would let the fox to fall asleep before placing the poor little beast near Haku, the liger would nuzzle the fox and then keep her warm and safe to let the Fanalis and the black haired girl continued their conversation. If the wolf approached them and said something, she would understand what he wanted to say as she keep using her magic item.

Endolf listened as Noir questioned the wolf about if Ronove had sent it, the question bringing rise to the very idea for Endolf himself. Was it possible that the dungeon had sent it off to him for some reason? As he himself pondered the possibility the wolf on the other hand looked at the woman questionably. It seemed to understand her question perfectly, having been spoken to in a series of howls much like the others of its species used. Deciding it wasn’t worth being skeptical about the human’s ability to speak in its own language the wolf simply chose to address the question of Ronove sending it. It shook its head once in response indicating the spirit of the dungeon hadn’t ordered it to keep any kind of observation on the redheaded warrior sitting beside it.

Instead it simply pointed its snout towards the pouch hanging from the boy’s waist, the one it remembered him withdrawing food from back during their encounter in the dungeon. Watching the wolf’s gesture Endolf had been able to piece together what the beast was after. A smirk crossed his face as he reached for the pouch once more. “Want more food is that it? Well, I don’t mind I suppose.” Producing the very food in question he offered it to his new companion. The wolf seemed to happily accept the food it was offered.

Noir observed as the Fanalis feed the wolf, happy that the redhead cared about the wolf and even offered it some food. The black haired girl sighed softly and leaned against the chair before looking back to her sleeping companions, the fox seemed comfortable to sleep beside Haku and the liger himself was not annoyed by the little beast presence. That might be great if they could get along like that because to find the fox's owner, maybe the little creature would need to stay with them for a bit. The female magician didnt have any intention to keep her and made her as her beast at the moment, knowing that maybe somehow the fox belonged to someone. She began to think that maybe she could introduce the fox with Chrono, the black cat that she adopted from the Dantalion's dungeon. Both of the little creature might get along, but to do so, she would need to go to Reim where she left the cat in her guardian's care.

The black haired girl would use the magic in her bracelet again, noticing that if Ronove didn't send him here, then maybe he went off by himself. "With your master is no longer in the place where you are belonged to, your home is not exist anymore, are you aware of that fact?" Noir would wait until the wolf could answer her, worrying that the beast's feeling might be hurt. "I didn't mean to be harsh, but I am worried about you. I didn't mind to let you join me as my companion, however, this kind man might be looking for companion as well, perhaps both of you could get along?" She could see the resemblance between Endolf and the wolf, she didn't know much about them but she knew that both of them could take care of each other. He was caring and considerate enough, the wolf was pretty tame although she was thinking that the wolf might had some kind of hidden ability inside him since he was the beast from dungeon. "What do you say, Mr. Endolf?"
