Job:

“Oh, the weather is a little bit colder at night, eh…? It is windy as well…” said the blue haired woman while she was taking a stroll around the city of Remano. It was entirely different from her home country that was filled with ice and cold breeze; everywhere around her was mostly white colored terrain unlike here. She was glad to get the chance to explore more about another country but her time was limited, she would surely use all the time that she had to enjoy herself and learn everything she could in the meantime. The invisible fingers of the night wind gently combed Lilithia’s hair and almost made her hat followed the wind, but with a good reflex, her hand caught the hat and she thought it would be better to keep it in her bag. She loved that hat a lot and it would be complicated if she lost it in the foreign country.

The more she walked she could feel the wind became even stronger and she could smell the some kind of saltiness from the air. She wondered if she was close to the sea and she proved her assumption right as the sound of the wave hitting the rock was clear. She only needed some more steps to be able to see the sea and when she looked around the area, the Imuchakk noticed a cave not far from there. After having an interesting adventure inside a cave back then in Imuchakk, Lilithia was sure that this cave must be having some kind of interesting things inside and that she might have to explore it. The giant would then think that she should try to enjoy the sea breeze for much longer before she tried to explore the cave to see whatever was residing.

The call of rumors had managed to reach the ears of Farid. He had only ever heard stories of such mysticism, never having actually experienced them in his life. Farid wasn't much for superstitions, but nonetheless he had decided to investigate, not necessarily for the reward involved. His curiosity propelled him forward. Thoughts of skeletal warriors and ectoplasmic beings ran through his mind as a smirk crept across his lips. Farid had no belief for such myths, but he had come to reason there was something bigger involved, perhaps a organ-stealing scheme or perhaps even a slavery or sex ring. Or perhaps a savage beast had called this cave their home and had killed all the people who had trespassed on their territory, which was unlikely since there were no traces of such a beast toward the entrance of the cave.

Farid, finally prepared for the exploration, had traced the coast of the tributary which had lead to the cave. There was still a small walkway for people to traverse. The briny air was so thick, you could taste the salinity in the air. It was at this point where he had spotted Lilithia, an unmistakable look. The blue hair of an imuchakk, the hat and the bust. He stared in wait, perhaps she would confirm his suspicions that this was really some sort of illegal operation, but she seemed to be walking towards the cave with no real destination.

"HEEEY." He yelled out, waiting for her reaction as he gave a half-hearted jog to catch up with her, a hand dragging in the air as a sort of greeting. "Fancy seeing you here, how come you headin' into this cave?" His ruby eyes stared into hers, trying to get a feel for her intentions.

“Hmm?” The blue haired woman looked at someone who was running towards her and calling her name, wondered who that might be. It was someone familiar when she focused her gaze towards the man, the tattoo, that amazing psyche and that kind of attitude… it wouldn’t belong to any other man. “Ohh… It is a pleasure to see you here, Mr. Issah. Going for a midnight stroll?” Lilithia scoffed and waited for the man to approach her as she stood on her spot, not moving an inch. Once Farid was close to her, the woman would lean closer to the man in a way that some people might call it as a seductive way, even though the woman herself didn’t have any intention to be seductive at that moment. “Do you see that cave over there? Would you be interested to go for a date with me there?” She would pause for a second but she wouldn’t let the man to answer her for now, “I’ll be sad if you rejected my date offer but maybe it will be fun to drag you to the cave like a helpless dog…” She laughed and stepped back before saying, “I am just joking though. So, what do you say?”

Lilithia was in fact, not joking at all, she just wanted to see what kind of expression and reaction that she could see from the man. But her priority was to enter the cave and see what was inside, there might be another dragon inside the cave. Just in case if Farid refused her offer to explore the cave, she would mumble this words in an audible voice, “There might be another dragon inside…”

If the Halfling agreed to enter the cave, then she would walk right beside the man towards the mysterious place and they could hear some kind of eerie voices even though they just reached the entrance. Perhaps it was just the sound of the wind, perhaps it was the sound from something else… maybe a ghost… or a monster. All they could do to find out was just to enter the place…

"I thought you might think that." He replied wittily to her first comment. Farid approached slowly, as if he were a Lion coming to his injured prey. He stood within a foot of her, his height quite pronounced at over 2 meters. Looking down at her, her lean merely guided his eyes to her cleavage without hesitation.

Farid was ready to reply, but her interjection without allowing him a response made him chuckle. To him, avoiding someones answer in such a position was a statement of insecurity. "Well, I would've taken you, but I'm already meeting a date inside. You can come along and be the third wheel. If things don't go well, we can go back to the city for drinks."

Farid grabbed hold of Lilithia's palm, his skin was rough but his touch was full of warmth. He pulled her towards the cave as he grew more serious. "I don't know what you heard about this place, but from what I heard it's full of ghost. I'm not gonna believe that though. I don't think it's a beast either." He paused as he made sure that Lilithia was following, if she had accepted his hand or not. As well as listening to any of her information.

"What I really believe is that there is a group of bad people trying to make some quick coin. Something along the line of thieves and-or slavers." He wasn't emotional, not giving a second thought to the morality of the situation. "I just want to know what kind of business they're running and kill 'em off. The payment is just a bonus."

“Enjoying the view?” Lilithia snorted when Farid stared at her cleavage, but didn’t bother to cover it or acted like she was embarrassed. She looked down at him, waiting for him to look up right towards her blue eyes even though their height weren’t that wide with Lilithia just a few centimeters taller than him.

The Imuchakk chuckled after hearing Farid’s answer, amused for the several times ever since she interacted with this man. “We can do that, but perhaps I can try to snatch your date. Hopefully your date is cute.” She was startled to found the man’s hand grabbed a hold of her palm, not because she was embarrassed but more like because no man was that brave to actually touch her casually like that except her childhood friend. Lilithia shook her head when he mentioned about ghost inside the cave, recalling the moment when she found a dragon inside a cave and almost dying there because the dragon was too strong even though she and the other two men managed to take it down. “I found a vicious dragon inside a cave in my country before, perhaps this could be the same… although I am not sure…” She began to absorb all the information from Farid before speaking her own opinion, “That might be true as well… if there was really a group of bad people then please don’t kill them… yet. Let’s punish them.”

She would hold Farid’s hand, wanting to know how long he would stand doing it at the moment and guessed that he couldn’t even stand it for a long time. No words came from her lips as she kept her guard, being cautious for anything that might appear in front of them. Her breathing was steady but her grip on the Fanalis’ hand would be tighter as she couldn’t help but starting to feel uneasy about her surroundings. The strange voices stopped like that, disappearing with no trace and leaving them in a complete silence as if something will appear soon.

Like a deadly trap one of the undead suddenly appeared and was jumping towards Lilithia before swinging its sword right at the woman’s head. But her reaction was quick enough to use her free arm as the other hand was gripping Farid’s hand even tighter but not strong enough to crush his hand. “Tch!” The woman clicked her tongue for being careless but she would bring her leg to kick the strange creature right at the head, shattering it and knocked the undead down. After that she would attempt to release her grip from the Fanalis’ hand, “I apologize, I should have given you more room to move. Looks like more of this strange creature will come out…” As she said that, four more of the creatures showed up, viciously swinging their sword while dragging their 2 meters tall body to be closer to their prey.

(AMBIENCE FOR THE CAVE)

"I'd enjoy the view a little longer but we gotta a schedule to keep." He went at a normal pace, not too worried about being sneaky, but not rushing into the cave, hands blazing. His ruby optics scanned the coast and the general area, in case there was an ambush set-up around here, but it had seemed to be an effort in vain.

Farid and Lilithia had made it inside safely without any problems. "Haha, well I can be a gentleman about it, especially if I get to watch." However, despite the easygoing nature thus far, Farid could sense through her touch and movements that Lilithia was getting a bit more nervous, assuming initially it was merely that she was the superstitious, but then she spoke up. A tale of a dragon crossed her lips.

Then Lilithia spoke once more, the first time to actually surprise Farid, when she had stated she would rather punish instead of kill any evil-doers. He turned to her for a moment, with an awkward smile, as it grew into a chuckle, and then into laughter.

The tightness of Lilithia's grip was reassuring that she was as normal as any other person. However, he, too, was on alert when there was a sudden silence. He had thought the beast was going for him, and it was at this time where he had let go of Lilithias hand, as he held the undead in place to protect his companion, but her fearsome legs had made short work of this undead.

"You're fine." Farid almost seemed disappointed with the turn of events. He was expecting more, the only final reason was perhaps a magician was reanimating corpses, but this wasn't likely the case.

Another corpse came in, but this one seemed stronger than the last, and he dashed in much faster than the last one, however Farid was faster. As the Undead Captain sprinted towards him, Farid stepped towards him and punched the center of his chest, where there was an exposed portion of his ribs beneath the rotting flesh. The once animated zombie-like being, shattered as if it were made of ice, scattering across the ground, making a distinct noise.

This noise had alerted the rest of the cave. Now they would come in waves as they had detected a disturbance. "So what do you think? You wanna take her on a date for me?"

The Fanalis showed an amazing strength to defeat one of the stronger looking undead in one single punch, making Lilithia sure that the man was indeed the one that came from those red haired beast race. He was much stronger than her and she knew it, envy and the feeling to be the weakest at the moment made the woman clenched her fist and her gaze changed into something different than her usual gaze. Swarm of black rukh started to flutter around her as she recalled the similar feeling of being weak and how her father mocked her about that, she was not happy. She despised it, cursing her life and her effort to be stronger as it seemed that she was still losing compared to other people. “You bet.” Big grin started to appear on her face and she would dash towards one of the undead soldiers before slamming her fist right at its chest, killing it right away. Like a hungry beast, the blue haired woman went to her next prey that was standing beside her previous victim. She jumped before lifting her knee and dropped it down like a strong axe right on the undead’s head and used the momentum to hold the other undead’s head with both of her hand, snapping it from the neck by using her strength and gravity help.

It was when she snapped one of the undead’s head that an arrow attempted to make its way right towards Lilithia’s arm, but the Imuchakk was lucky since the movement that she did allowed her to got away from the arrow, making it missed its target. However for the Imuchakk that was unforgivable, she decided to charge right towards the undead archer that shot its arrow to her. With her hand she would crush the bow that the undead was holding and another hand will be used to crush the undead’s neck by choking it. Another undead archer was ready to aim at her, but she ignored it and charged at it anyways, bringing her palm to push the undead’s face before banging it to the wall by using her arm’s strength. As she didn’t see any enemy that was close to her anymore, the blue haired woman stopped her rampage and noticed that one more undead soldier were standing close near the Fanalis, getting ready to get revenge for killing its captain. Another archer would appear, being around 1 meter behind the man and around 2 meters in front of the blue haired woman, making it to be 1vs2 for Farid. She tried to muster the will to help at the moment but considering that the man was strong enough to handle the big one, he wouldn’t have any trouble to kill the weaker one. So she decided to just stay still on her spot until she needed to attack

Farid Issah was calm throughout the event, especially now that he knew just how strong these enemies were. It no longer mattered how many there were nor how he had disposed of them. To add to his peace of mind, just seeing Lilithia handle one without any issue spoke volumes to her strength, which he now just realized. Farid turned to her, but there were more creatures. He stood still and even crossed his arms to watch how she would react. Her grin indicative of her mental state.

Farid looked around once to make sure he was not to be ambushed, but then refocused on Lilithia who had already slain one more of these undead soldiers. Consecutively, destroying them, she took down two more soldiers and then with minor difficulties she went and brought down two more archers.

All that was left was an undead archer and one more fighter. Farid could see Lilithia had done her contribution, as she began to step out of her battle stance and standing still. He turned to the final two targets. "Yeah, we're done here."

Farid could tell the archer was more of a threat than the swordsman. He let go of his heavy iron club to accelerate as fast as possible. He stance was low, his bare feet gripping to the stone carefully, and he swerved his body just enough to evade an incoming arrow. At this point, he knew it was completely over. During this time, he sweeped the bow away with his left forearm, and he palmed the the archers face with his right and the his fingers dug deep, cracking its skull. Then the effect traversed through the archers whole body, until it was ground to dust.

The Undead Soldier was rather incapable of fear to its misfortune because now it would cease to be animated. It started running forward, slashing continuously in a fury. Farid took a deep breath for a second and once the soldier was nearly within striking range. He let out a loud roar, which echo'd throughout the cave, but the vibrations of his scream had stunned the soldier in place. Now Farid would bring his left arm up as if he were to backhand the skeleton, and then brought down his arm, hand open. His hand slicing through the skeletons neck. The skull toppling over and then rolling around the ground right behind his feet around the floor.

Farid mulled over the situation. "Well, I suppose I don't have a date anymore." He walked over to Lilithia with his right elbow extended so they could walk out of the cave together, arms linked. Farid smiled with a slight amusement at the fact that Lilithia was even a bit taller than himself, as well as the fact that he had revealed the fact that he was Fanalis completely with his roar.

"I wonder if you will kill your date just like that next time..." The blue haired girl answered while linking her arm against Farid's arm, enjoying his company at the moment. Her assumption about this man was right, he was a Fanalis after all. The strength that he showed and that roar belonged to his race, there was no denying about it. However, just when she wanted to step out from the cave, there was this hooded man suddenly appeared in front of them. He was grinning before walking to one of the collapsed undead that was wearing a hat, possibly the undead captain. The Imuchakk glared at the mysterious man when he suddenly stepped on the undead's head, crushing it while saying, "Tch, what a waste... Oh well... There will be more dead bodied that we can use to make more..." The man would then looked back at the Fanalis and Imuchakk before bowing towards them, "For The Alchemist!" He would disappeared into thin air as soon as he said that, making the blue haired woman wondered what was that about. Perhaps she needed to memorize this whole event, it might be useful for her in the future. But for now, maybe if The Alchemist liked to create undead from dead bodies, then perhaps she wouldnt want to die and be found by them...
